Suddenly, powerful explosions rocked the town. The whole town shook as though it was an earthquake. Out of some windows, you could see colourful flashes of light. Then it stopped. Puzzled, afraid, and intrigued, the townsfolk got out of bed to investigate. They found the fields of Farmer Joe scorched badly, and here and there it looked as though there had been an explosion.
It there something to be extracted from the description of explosions?

Alright well in a few hours I will be leaving for my camping trip. I will be gone from the 14th(today) until the 21st(next Friday). The game will remain in Day 1 until I get back etc. Use the possibly extra time wisely and see you in a week.

It there something to be extracted from the description of explosions?
What is curious to me is that there is no initial death. Usually the Mayor or a John Doe would die right?

Why does it matter? Surely the flavour text is... just that, flavour text. Only bad mods put clues to things in the flavour text.

I guess I like bad mods then. I want it to be subtle so that it's not obvious as we are playing. However, when looking back I enjoy the moment of "oh, that was clever" when I finally am enlightened.

It's dangerous though. If the mod puts in a very cleverly disguised clue that X and Y are mafia and I just happen to see through it, then the mod has basically screwed the mafia over. That is not how it should be.I guess I like bad mods then. I want it to be subtle so that it's not obvious as we are playing.
