Agreed CJ, Medival 1 was much simpler and more user friendly then the sequel.

That's true. Medieval: TW (and Viking Invasion too) was FTW. IMO the best of the total war series. Medieval 2 : TW is a good, solid game too. On the other hand Empire: TW is quite a crap...so dissapointing :/.

The only one of the TW series I played was Shogun. It was... mediocre.

Currently, I'm playing CivIV and otherwise seem to be stuck on browser games.

I play Dead Awaken, Ikariam (.org Zeta), tinywarz, and strategygamenetwork.com for online Risk.

What esle do I play...

Well right now I'm replaying Final Fantasy 8. I acutally got Squall's ultimate weapon on the frist disc. I also play a lot of Street Fighter 4 on the 360.

Maybe not a total crap...but after the previous games from the serie one would expect something better. To many bugs, imbalance, and AI thats soooo dumb (like engage enemy unit with 2 of yours, then start withdrawing the one that's under fire. Next thing you see is AI geting after the unit that's withdrawing, marching next to your second unit and geting decimated by it ).

One of the funny things in Empire are "orbital strikes" (sadly so lame and abused in pvp). Just buy 5-8 mortar units and open fire. It really looks as if some Stardestroyer from the orbit was tearing apart poor AI's units.

Rome Total war was crap in my opinion.

Medieval Total War/Viking Invasion however was awesome

I shelved my copy of Medieval II after a couple of weeks. It sucks compared to the first w/ Viking Invasion... shame I lost my discs. :\

As for what I am playing right now,

HoI2: Armageddon
Sim City 4
Want to get back in Civ 4 but it's boring compared to Civ 3... :P

I need to get a job to upgrade my comp and get new games XD

I have a 360 and PS3, but I don't really play much on them except for a recent bout of playing KotOR again. Brothers usually play on them.

It's been a while since I played any of the Sim City games, and I've never played 4. I've been looking at buying the SimCity boxed set lately though.

How good a game is SC4?

SC4 is okay, so long as you also have the Rush Hour addon and a lot of mods to make it more realistic/playable. It's near impossible to balance a budget in the game without some mods. Mods also add some other nifty things.

I am mainly a computer gamer myself, I do have TF, tend to rather suck at it though, never was a very good twitch gamer, my reaction speed is not warp velocity any more :) something about being over 40 I think.

I do like Civilization IV, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Mass Effect, Sins of a Solar Empire, World Of Warcraft, Champions Online, Galactic Civ II, I am planning on Getting Dragon Age when it comes out... love role playing and strategy games.

That about covers it.
