Do exactly what they tell you on the tutorial, don't stray a bit and they'll hook you up with a (temporary) free plus account and some coins you can hang onto for bonuses.
Choose your own path, I went warmonger myself, but there are several paths you can take.
Raiding planets, occupied or not is pretty much the name of the game.
If you're not raiding, you're stunting your expansion and growth. It rewards aggression.
Once you have an embassy, lemme know and I'll get you into Molon Labe if you want.

I really wanted to play Portal so I bought the Orange Box. It came with TF2 which I tried out, but it had way too steep of a learning curve for me, so I left it alone.
Then I pulled it back out a month ago or so for some reason and I've been playing a couple times a week now. Good times once you get the hang of it.

tf2's sweet, I used to be really good at it, now not so sure I've missed about 3 updates to characters and haven't been able to really play in months 
Did get on to try out the new bow and arrow for a few minutes though.

I haven't had much luck with the Sniper yet. Though, for a while I'd only play Heavy and Scout and I have finally been branching out a lot from that. Someday I'll be able to play any of them.

lol too late i've already done a couple of upgrades here and there :/
However for the most part (90%) I've stuck to the tutor

Ive seen TF2 and it looks like fun but i dont have a computer good enough for any PC games 
My laptop doesnt cut it.
So most of the time i stick to the 360.

I think I'll go and sign up on the IRON steam group. I'm not very good at TF2, but I have my moments and the game is usually fun all the same. (Unless I get "dominated" by a few people, then I ponder Rage Quitting)

I got sick of Civ games. Multiplayer ones anyway. 2 hours fighting over setup and getting spots filled, then some yahoo drops and you have to wait another 30-40 minutes for everyone to regroup....
