Perhaps make it the same colour as the STEAM logo on there and soften the edges up a bit?

Ive seen TF2 and it looks like fun but i dont have a computer good enough for any PC games

My laptop doesnt cut it.

 

So most of the time i stick to the 360.

I think I'll go and sign up on the IRON steam group. I'm not very good at TF2, but I have my moments and the game is usually fun all the same. (Unless I get "dominated" by a few people, then I ponder Rage Quitting)

 

Oh, I also play Civ 4. I'm not a wizard at it, but if you want someone to help you take on Napoleon I can lend a hand.

Civ4 - (with so many players we should really do a massive match)

Touhou - (if you have PFV we can do multiplayer :V)

Airfix Dogfighter - (RC planes flying inside home shooting each other or breaking stuff, quite fun on multiplayer)

Mahjong - (the one for 4 players, not the one where you need to pick up pairs >_>)

I got sick of Civ games. Multiplayer ones anyway. 2 hours fighting over setup and getting spots filled, then some yahoo drops and you have to wait another 30-40 minutes for everyone to regroup....

I play a few games on my DSLite, Wii, and computer

I mostly play Sim City 3000, Sim City 4, Counter-Strike: Source, SPORE, Mount&Blade and others that I may have forgoten

An all IRON Civ game would be pretty sweet. But it would probably just be a race to see who can get nukes first and then start global warming first .

 

I never got that, why do nukes in Civ 4 start global warming? Wouldn't it do the opposite and start nuclear winter?

I might be tempted to buy it and try it out just 'cos it's so damn cheap.

If setup and finding a game is anything like 3, I'll pass.

PA, you are doing it wrong. Try to do a match with us, we get it rolling in less than 5 minutes :3

 

Mole, that's the one, it even contains the expansions we use (Beyond the Sword is a must for Vista users, otherwise the game won't run).

PA, Logitec sells a Playstation/Xbox type controller for the PC for about $30. It might take some tinkering to get it to work correctly, but seems like a viable alternative to WASD.

I bought a logitech controller and it doesn't work for spit, even with X-Padder.

 

Griff, man, I got a friend I like to beat up, but he only plays ladder games and they are SO DAMN BORING. Like I said, two hour setup, bickering over size, ALWAYS future, nobody wants to play CIV damnit and start from scratch. I like to start from the beginning, or else WHAT'S THE POINT OF PLAYING #$%^ING CIV?!?!?!?!?!?!

 

I could never find ancient games on Civ 3, and when i DID find them, people dropped, or left after a couple hours.

God, I loved allying with every pub in the game and talking one into attacking the other while my armies marched on the aggressor, and my reserve marched on the defender when the aggressor fled home to defend.

Wipe the aggressor while I pump out units to keep the Defender, well, defending, then march on the defender with everything I have.

I felt a little bit like Alexander the Great. or God.

Ignore him, play with us . All out games start from ancient age, normal speed, simultaneous turns and are just for fun.

I have III. IV looked too cartoonish, and the previous drunken rant up there...

I'll give you a heads up when I get it.

Civ 4 is fun, no doupt about it. But I just pirated :blush: Your right Tobias, nukes should cause a nuclear winter, not global warming... lol

Civ IV is great in that play goes a bit faster than in III, but I also miss the massive walls of Mech Infantry I used to line my borders with in III.

IV has better multiplayer imo.

Do they have regicide?

Well I just started playing Mafia Wars.

I got the CIV 4 gold edition that came with the Warlords expansion... do we all have to match on expansions if we want to play?

 

Im getting kind of excited about this, but with time differences and everything, setting a time to play could be rough. Finishing the match could be even harder!

My DL came with warlords and beyond the sword (the one I play).
