Cuz he's not a lurker. He's deviating from his behavior and that's suspicious. That and of course we decided to remove the inactives?

To be completely fair my activity has been shaky last few days and the transition from 'real life' mafia to 'online' mafia is rather strange to me as I felt I would enjoy 'online' mafia as much as I would mafia that I've played in the past, probably because a wall of text is much harder to interpret than actual talking and the complexity of the games here is a bit higher with a multitude of roles with niche abilities and such. This is the reason why I have been lurking and to be fair it's hard to interpret a wall of text as either an actual thought through argument, or just blatantly trying to disguise oneself as mafia, because text is neutral, everyone can interpret things differently, whereas spoken text is so much easier to interpret. 

 

That being said I feel that TW, in any case would present himself with thought through arguments, so it isn't suspicious that he's backing up his statements with good arguments, where people would perceive that as 'scum behavior'. To me TW doesn't stand out as much. Lyner on the other hand has been pretty inactive for a 'well known' mafia player. It's safe to say that such a player shines in absence under these circumstances. If he doesn't come with a good argument for himself I will vote for him on deadline day.

I have no idea what i'm doing right now, but i'm going to take a risk and probably going to get myself killed, but i'm going to need cooperation from Town! (Protect me!)

 

So in an effort not to get a wagon going at actual innocent towns and not get Lyner lynched, I will share some information from last night.

But I am the Universal Backup, so gladly when Fox was lynched we did lose our Cop, but I automatically gained that role.

 

With that said in an effort to keep town in the game I will list who is most definitely not scum.

 

As of now, we know that Lyner & Samus is not scum - because I inspected Lyner last night and obviously cause i'm town.

 

Leaving the potential scum to be the following:

 

Finster Baby

Electric Mango

Fox Fire

Imran Ehsan

iSocialism

Kaziocore

Lyner

Mandarijn

Perez

Rafay

Road2Victory

Robert2424

The Warrior

As of now, I think scum are:

 

The Warrior, R2V & Kaz I suspect there are two more also I haven't been able to put a finger on.

 

The Warrior, still hasn't explained why he suggested he is a town with a power role, and until he does I will assume he was bluffing in an attempt to appear innocent and priority to keep in the game and will keep my lynch vote for him.

 

People we need to vote for who we think is scum, not the inactives! If we keep voting innocent inactives we will continue to lose 2 players a night, scum will win in 2 or 3 days.

Boom! Bomb dropped by Sinus. Almost 100% a proven townie as no scum would ever take role claim this early into the game. While it's true that Shame-on-us is not your typical player, I doubt even he would have the cajones to pull of a stunt like this.

Pretty risky move though as he just put a HUGE target on himself. If the doc is killed or the Mafia have strongman ability it's curtains for Sammy and the town is out another important power role.

I believe Samus is telling the truth, I just want two things. Samus' character before becoming the cop, and lyner to post something/anything.

I find it to hard to call this a scum move. It benefits the town too much, besides the point of him outing himself, if he is the cop.

 

There's too much going on in my head trying to explain what I think of this move. So

If samus is scum he could be protecting lyner scum partner. However if he is scum he could be hoping that no one else is the universal backup, and knowing that lyner is not scum, via being scum and knowing who he is working with. Could be trying to gain town creed. Also gaining the doc's NA ensuring a mafia kill. Though if samus is scum they might lynched lyner if he is town, to try to further samus town creed.

Another thing is, if samus is town/cop, protecting him might now be wasteful, because the scum will think he is protected and would go for someone else.

 

Here's is how I think we might need to play it out. As me believing Samus is telling the truth. Samus tells us his character name. we leave both samus and lyner alive for the day. The doc will choose the chance of protecting samus, or protecting someone else. We vote for someone against samus, that also fits or list of scummy behavior.

After reading like 3-5 pages... this are my thoughts.

 

The heated battle between Isoc and Rusken, makes me beleave Rusken is townie. Meanwhile, Isoc responses were "fishy" sometimes.

 

I see TW long responses as a way to either prove he is townie, or just use it to disguise himself. So far, I see him more as townie than scum but still am keeping an eye on him just to be safe.

 

Samus in my eyes is definitely a townie. I trust him. 

 

Imram, I dont remember visiting the forums yesterday... if I did, I forgot to check Mafia.

I didnt say it was a scum move. I think he is the cop and it was a risky move because you can be sure the scum will be gunning for him now. Though I think the reveal should have been help back until he had confirmed at least one scum.

 

As for who to lynch today, I still havent made up my mind. I am not exactly sold on TWs explanations but at least he is making an effort and I would like to see him for a day or more or so instead of lynching him off right now. 

 

I have found R2Vs posts a bit scummy. Also Yehom and Perez are lurking, only to appear and post once it was publicly revealed how they have been on the forums and not posted in this game for days. Robert has also been suspiciously quite compared to him activity on D1. EM has also been quite but not as quite as Robert.

 

I am also a bit suspicious of Mandarijn. He seems to be jumping on wagons based off others accusations without presenting any details on why he thinks his target may be scum (example: jumped on TW wagon right after Samus accused him and his explanation was "what Samus said!" Kaz has been too inactive so no read there.

 

So thats the summary of the people I am looking at and why. I will decide in a day or so where to put my vote on based on above analysis,

 

ps I forgot to add Rusken and Isoc. I think Rusken is town, but iSoc I am not entirely sure yet.

 

pss: Rafay is also very quite. and FB i am not exactly clear yet but I am leaning towards him being town.

Ok  just because I post a lot doesn't mean I am scum if I were scum my actions would most likely never to be here and i would just lurk all the time mostly and not say anything.

The way Samus put his post was desperate and out of nowhere, so to I think its a risky move up that he called up to doc to save him. I am confused that this will benefit town or not, but I hope it will benefit town. 

 

Btw the link for universal backup seems to be an error and i keep getting it? Its not an internet problem.
