[KH-28] Fight or Flight Mafia - TOWN wins
I am not claiming to have shot iSoc. While the temptation may have been there, I figured it would be best to pressure him on day 2 (which unfortunately didn't happen with his death). I only would have liked to have seen more reasoning either when he made his vote, or even prior would have been fine. One could argue LordSunday could be in that camp as well with lack of activity. Which, he did slip my mind at that time, but looking back through day 1, he's only posted fluff as well with nothing meaningful. Which, to be fair, he was gone for a few days with his wedding. Just worth pointing out his posting prior to his departure.

[KH-28] Fight or Flight Mafia - TOWN wins
What makes you think Isoc was killed by a townie? Math I don't see it, just because there are more town than scum doesn't mean Isoc was killed by town. Isoc is a strong player, I think this was a good decision by scum to take him out. To be honest, I don't necessarily know/recall playstyles or how strong a particular player is so I'll take your word for that. That said, while math is on the side as Chaplain said, my thinking is this. While it's difficult to pin inactivity on day 1 as super scummy perhaps since there not much to go on, when you say practically nothing, it's still going to raise an eyebrow specifically. I would've definitely been looking extra hard in their direction if they were still alive and it's possible someone else may have been as well. The other thing, if mafia sees the town calling out someone that isn't there own, wouldn't they perhaps use that to their advantage and let us pick each other off in order to lay low? So you're right, there's no guarantee. Just, if I had to put money on it, I'm suspecting it's a town vig in this instance.

[KH-28] Fight or Flight Mafia - TOWN wins
Looks like it's a no lynch for day one. Outside of a fluff post early, would like to note that isocialism's only other post is a vote with no other information, so definitely suspicious of them for day 2.

[KH-28] Fight or Flight Mafia - TOWN wins
Only on the first day. This is an interesting setup, don't think I've played anything like it before. Definitely an odd setup. Barring some very strange sequence of events that leads to a suspect, I'll be voting no lynch for day 1, but no sense trying to end the day too early. I have been wondering what the best strategy should be for towns here. Scum cant so factional kills at night so they have only 2 vig kills at their disposal. So they will depend on mislynches and townies misfiring their vig kills to win. I am gonna say scum will at most use one vig kill on N1, or they may actually do nothing and sit back and see the townies shoot each other off before picking off the survivors in N2. So we need to have more townies going into N1, which means no lynch is the best option. I definitely agree that I don't see more than one mafia kill being used tonight, if they even kill at all. What I'm wondering is, how bloody will night 1 be? I imagine there's going to be at least one if not two shots fired, whether because mafia wants to get one kill off or because someone (or multiple someones) happens to be trigger happy. What's also curious is, how many people are going to commute night 1, if any? Do they guarantee their own safety for one night or try to hold out? I could see this game either being fairly short or going a bit long. Depends how bloodthirsty folks are or if the night actions end up being a game of cat and mouse. There's also the possibility (no matter how slim) that everyone runs out of night actions and it all comes down to the lynch. Question for Kevin: Is there a deadline for night actions or will it become day once everyone submits an action? If the latter, how will it be handled if we all run out of night actions?

Same. I think the only time I've ever done a setup similar was where there was no night and everyone had a one shot during the day power iirc. Also, Imran mafia two games in a row? Vote: Imran Unvote

[KH-27] Dethy I Mafia - MAFIA Wins
Well played Imran. I had a feeling Zacch was going to live through the night so figured he was the best investigation target. Wasn't sure who was going to be killed, but not surprised it was me. And sure enough, I nailed it with my guess. Here I was thinking I was insane day 1 (or paranoid) and figured what were the odds the sane cop had the right result from the get go. Be curious how differently it would have played out differently it say Chap was killed instead of myself. Hard to say. Also, Zacch investigating me and being told 'he was town', I'm actually a girl Kevin.

You can become a girl, but you can't become a winner.

But just like Iwin90, you lose as well because there's only one true winner here. And it's your girl. =)

I never said that you were aiming for a lynch on Imran, only that it seemed like such. If I would have pushed for a lynch on them, I question if you would've gone harder on them. And you're right, provided you and chaplain are telling you the truth with your investigations, we did get two guilty verdicts on Zacch. And I addressed how that's possible in my post before last. As for voting for Zacch, I didn't wish to vote at the time because I wanted to see if 1) How active would he be and 2) what his result was. If I was scum, I could have voted for Zacch and had justification enough to do so at the time and see if anybody else wanted to tag along and hammer in a lynch, but I wanted to hear them speak before deciding on anything as that dictated my next move and where my thoughts may go. Because while we were all looking at Zacch, the other person I was looking at was you Empire (and in part Chaplain, if only because of you both being linked in the Zacch investigation). As to why? It's simple. What's more likely? Two mafia and two town investigations or a 3/1 split in either favor? Because it's a 25% chance the insane cop could get a town result indicating mafia, while the reverse is true for the sane cop investigating actual mafia. But they both have higher odds of a missed investigation. And yes, one could hit while the other misses. But what if they both hit or they both miss? What are the odds there?

Even with fake results from the goon hopefully we can start to lock in on what our individual modifiers are. I investigated Zacch and received a scum result. Not pointing the finger at Chaplain here, but quoting for posterity. Noteworthy that Chaplain was the first to reveal his investigation without being prompted. Also one of two to investigate Zacch. In response to my investigation of Imran coming up guilty. I never once claimed to want to lynch them at the time. Imran clarifies my post, then Empire reveals as the second person to investigate Zacch and took being prompted to reveal their investigation Not suspicious in itself, but as someone who got a guilty result herself on someone else, unless one of the three of us is sane with an accurate result, I'm leaning to think either Chaplain or Empire is scum with this early link to each other. I would agree, he seems to be the one rising to the top for lynching, Just like that, Empire agreeing with me and instead of seeming to want to shoot for a lynch on Imran switches quickly to Zacch. While points for Zacch were being made at the time, I'm noticing a trend that Empire doesn't seem to be thinking for themselves much as of right now. I vote for Zacch And a vote without any reasoning. I'll admit to not knowing Empire's playstyle (or really anyone's here except for Kevin's), so maybe this is normal for him. But as of right now Empire is the scummiest in my eyes. And with that said: VOTE: Northern Empire

And many other multi-quotes..... So this is interesting, Chaplain and NE both claim to be cops and claim to have investigated me on night 0 with returned results of "scum" and "mafia" respectfully. Too late for clarifications, but shouldn't the results have used identical terms (i.e. both return as "scum" or both as "mafia")? It is possible that they did get the same result and are both insane. This would be pretty aggressive move by the lone goon, and they have to know that when I flip cop, they become a prime suspect. I investigated Imran on night 0 and returned the result of "Imran is Town". Results will be "town/mafia". Vote: Chaplain. As Chaplain addressed, I wouldn't get hung up over that specifically. I know I've used multiple terms interchangeably, either in this game or in the past. It's possible. While they can't be insane / sane, the possibility is there that they could be insane / paranoid or sane / paranoid. And I could be Naive cop which would make vgm sane cop which would mean.... Unvote. Vote: Imran I could also be insane and you sane (or vice versa). Or myself paranoid and you naïve. Or some combination thereof. Of note, Imran was the third to reveal their investigation results, but the first to reveal a town result. With them being one of two town results and the fact they haven't pinged my scum radar as of yet, I'm more willing to believe they are a cop over mafia at the present time. And until you posted, I was already doubting my own sanity and I feel I'm either paranoid or insane (not sure which as of yet).

I'll have to respond more when I'm not at work and on my computer, but Zacch having a town investigation makes sense. If there was only one town result, that would essentially clear Imran as town and scum would be one of us four between myself, Zacch, empire, and chaplain. While we don't know who the sane one is among us, I feel like the odds are that the sane cop may have had an innocent result unless they got lucky on night 0 which isn't unheard of. And with 25% odds of nailing it, that's not the worst odds.

That's two guilty results for Zacch and is making him a potentially good lynch target for day 1 as, provided nobody has lied thus far could make clearer some of our sanities. Present inactivity isn't doing him any favors either, but I realize it was also labor day weekend which may play into that.

[KH-27] Dethy I Mafia - MAFIA Wins
As Imran mentioned, I'm just sharing my result. With our sanities unproven, it doesn't mean that they are or aren't mafia. With three of us sharing our results, why don't you share yours Empire? Also, we haven't heard from Zacch (aside from an essential non-post when the game first opened up). Would like to hear from them as well.

[KH-27] Dethy I Mafia - MAFIA Wins
I can get behind this. Only problem I see with this is if we lynch someone based on the goon's claim, because he can then easily claim that someone else is guilty and get him lynched, and by that time game will be over. That is certainly a concern. But four of us have at least one investigation already done. And if there's a day 2, two of us will have a second investigation (since the third person will be mafia). Presuming we lynch a cop today, if the three remaining cops all investigate the same person, then there will be two results on said person for day 2. Not saying that's the best route yet, as the stats could show that as flawed (haven't tried breaking it down yet), but it's one idea at least. Also depends on who we all investigated for night 0. There's also the possibility that mafia may opt to not kill night 1? I'm sure that's not likely, but it raises the question of if there's a time limit for night 1 actions or if it'll last until everyone sends in an action. Kevin? That's my hope as well. I was also waiting until everyone at least posted before revealing my result, but if we're going to start sharing... I got a guilty result on Imran Ehsan.
