You may not know this song/band/artist, but you should. Expand our musical horizons.
Take your pick. I haven't heard a ton from them, but what I've heard is pretty good. Maybe their rendition of the star spangled banner... Their lead singer recently left the band, so I haven't heard anything with the new guy yet.

The Race for the Republican Nomination
You are absolutely correct that it has been a privilege (except during periods of draft, when it was a compulsory activity). However, even things that are privileges cannot be simply curtailed for certain types of people without reasonable justification: Example: Driving is a privilege - yet, the DMV cannot simply deny licenses to African Americans who meet all stated and neutral criteria Ehh, kind of. Driving on public roads is a privilege. If you don't leave your own property, there is no Government permission card required. I grew up on a farm that was 3/4 of a section (if you don't know, a section is a square mile). Started driving farm machinery and pickup trucks at about 11 years of age. Never on the public roads. Now, you are absolutely correct that the Government cannot discriminate. Since the Government uses our tax money to create the roads, and there is a specifically defined process to obtain permission to drive on it, you are correct. However, a personal business has the right to refuse service to anyone they don't want to. If a person running a business decides they no longer want to provide services to a specific group of people (take your pick how they are defined), then they have that right. They also have to deal with the repercussions of their choices of who to do business with. So, there was a story a while back about a cake business that decided they didn't want to make a cake for a homosexual couple's wedding, and the whole internet got up in arms about it, leaving fake bad reviews online, I think they got hacked, and I think there were even death threats (been way too long, and I'm not searching for that on my work computer). That was the businesses choice. Now, once that was made clear, it was on every other couple or business to determine if that was in line with their values, and act accordingly. I don't think what was done to the business was right, however, had every couple that decided that wasn't in line with their views canceled cake orders, the company would have thought it over again. Here's another example. Take the second amendment, and concealed carry (legal in my state). By law, there are certain places carved out where I am not allowed to carry, even if I'm licensed (bars, churches (without permission), court rooms, etc). Unless it is specifically defined in that law, the Government is not supposed to further restrict my rights. Now, business owners, being private companies, can make the choice to put up a sign telling me I'm not welcome with my legally concealed weapon. Fine, I'm left with a choice (agree with them and do business there, or go somewhere else to do business). I almost always choose to do my business elsewhere. The first time I see the sign at a business, I will provide a card to the on duty store manager or business owner that explains why I'm taking my business elsewhere.

Amnesty Report 2015/16
Nothing. Just posting for everyone. I was curious however about what does Amnesty International want? What should the aforementioned countries do w/ Murderers if not hang them? Life in prison?? Not sure, but I found this on their website: https://www.amnesty.org/en/what-we-do/death-penalty/

Anime Fans?!
FLCL is AMAZING! Now at first it made no sense to me. It's a pretty wacky, random anime with a lot of really weird shit. It can be hard to follow, but if you can manage to follow the story line, it's great. It's the story of a boy coming of age and the stresses of growing up. Despite how bizarre and wacky it is, it's underlying tones create a very realistic story. Thanks for illustrating my point. Either love it or hate it, there seems to be no in between. I'll have to look back at this, I want to say I watched Blood+, but not Last Vampire, however, I remember watching something with regards to Vietnam, so maybe I have and just don't remember the name. What about Gundam 00? I haven't watched all of the Gundam series, but, for the most part, what I've watched I've really enjoyed. The SDF series completely sucks. Code Geass is great, Knights of Sidonia is on my Netflix queue, and haven't heard of Lagrange before.

Has anyone here ever been to prison?
Like someone said above, context is everything. Yes, if someone tells me they are an ex-con, I'm going to take a good long look at them. The fact that you explain it, and they still consider you to be "trash", that's their loss. I'd also be looking at my buddies, and telling them to shut the fuck up (and in probably a hell of a lot stronger language than that).

The Race for the Republican Nomination
Won't argue much about the Libertarian not winning. However, if enough people get fed up with the Democrat and Republican parties, there will eventually be enough swing to get a true third party into the national elections. Honestly, if and when Trump doesn't get the Republican nomination, if he could get the Libertarians to back him (highly doubtful, but you never know), that might be enough to get people to start looking at the third party candidates. I don't know, some of the comments I've seen out of the "establishment" of the Republican party comes across as completely out of touch. Saw something this morning on one of the morning shows (don't remember which one, probably Good Morning America, and missed who it was saying), dude said something to the effect of "the rules are the rules at the convention, and Trump better get used to that."

The Race for the Republican Nomination
My issue is that where I live, in Nebraska, I know at the general election the western portion of the state will vote Republican, while the eastern portion (mainly Omaha and Lincoln) will vote Democrat. Because we split our delegates, 2 will go to the Republican nominee, and 1 will go to the Democrat. I've been openly pissed about the candidates going to back before Obama started running, and have been voicing my dissatisfaction at the polls by voting Libertarian (even though I know nothing about their candidate), and then regularly contacting my members of the state and federal elected representatives and letting them know how I feel about particular legislation. Really off topic, but I listen to a lot of podcasts while at work, and someone (won't say who, but if you listen to this guy, you'll know who I'm talking about) calls the election season the "assclown circus", and said that he hears or plays the circus calliope music whenever he sees the talking heads on tv. Now, every time there's mentions of Clinton, Sanders, Trump, Cruz, or Kasich, that's all I hear. To the point, I have started humming it, and my wife is getting pissed at me (huge Clinton fan, thinks I'm making fun of her, only problem is, I'm making fun of all of them).

The Race for the Republican Nomination
Could be. If Trump doesn't hit 1,237, they will turn on him after the first ballot. The question will be... will they give it to Cruz? I've been staying out of this, but gotta comment on this one. If Trump can't reach the magic number, neither Trump nor Cruz will be the Republican party candidate. They'll find someone to run that the establishment likes, and Cruz has made them look bad on too many occasions by actually following through on his promises to work to block certain legislation.
