Role PMs are (finally) going out now!

Role PMs will be sent out, well, once they're written. I expect this to be today or tomorrow. Apologies for the delay so far, I'll try and get everything done as quickly as possible. Remember to confirm your role by PM, not in here. Good luck!

The Rules (Stolen from PCII) 1. This is game. Enjoy yourself. Or else. 2. No editing or deleting posts. 3. No talking to other players outside the game thread unless your Role PM states specifically that you can. 4. No quoting any PMs from me, including Role PMs. Doing so will get you modkilled. Paraphrasing is OK. 5. Vote for a player to be lynched by using the Vote: molestargazer format. You must unvote before voting again. 6. Days will last 2 weeks. Nights will last up to 72 hours, but may be cut short if I get all actions in before then. 6-1. If discussion is lagging, I may impose a shorter deadline at my own discretion. Deadline extensions will happen on request - but will only happen once per day at most, and if I feel there's enough activity to warrant one. 7. A lynch requires a majority (50% rounded down + 1) vote. You can also No Lynch, by using Vote: No Lynch. 7-1. If there is no majority by deadline, only a half-majority is needed. (Majority / 2, rounded up if necessary) 7-2. If there are 2 players with the same amount of at least half-majority votes at deadline, then I will lynch the one who reached that number of votes first. 8. After someone has been lynched, discussion may continue until I get to the thread and close it. 9. Don't use small / invisible font, don't use orange text (That's mine), and don't use any form of clever encryption or code in your messages. 10. Be active, yeah? If you think someone ISN'T being active enough, post in-thread, get my attention, and they'll be prodded. 10-1. If you need to be replaced for whatever reason, please PM me, don't flake. 10-2. If you are V/LA, don't rely on me checking the thread / your signature. Please post in the thread notifying me of your V/LA or PM me about it. 11. Vote counts will be made at the top of a page, edited into a post in orange. They will count up to and including the post it's been edited into. 12. Be nice. Excessive flaming will result in a warning, then a replacement or modkill as I see fit. 13. I hope it isn't necessary, but any modkills will negatively effect the rule-breaker's faction in some way which I see fit. If you are modkilled, you lose, no matter how the game ends. 14. I can change, add, or edit rules as I see fit. I will notify players in-thread if this happens. 15. I am not perfect. I may have got something wrong. I may have missed a rule out. Let me know, ask me questions, but don't abuse my mistakes. 15-1. To get my attention in-thread, use the MOD: <Your message> format. ---- The flavour of all PMs will be slightly different for each player. This is intended for fun only. Godfather Tony opened his eyes and took a deep breath, only to find it hindered by a lack of air and sucking a plastic bag into his mouth. Flailing, his arms reached just above his face and found a zip. A little working pulled it down, and this time, he was able to breathe in peace. He sat up to find that he had been put into a body bag after his exploits at the supermarket. How odd. He was most definitely alive. After being awoken from what had almost been certain death, his first thought went not to food, or air, or perhaps somewhere to run away from the police and lie down for a while with a Whisky, but to his next plan. He got up and ran away from the pool, and down the high street. He saw one building and his eyes narrowed. "Yes...." *** The IRONTown Supermarket had had another busy day, but now things were at last calming down. Employees were grumpily cleaning the shop and picking up fallen goods, whilst checking their watches to see when they could run to clock off for the day. A few customers remained, hurriedly trying to pick up all the shopping they could before the market closed. It was to this end that Tony and some associates walked nonchalantly into the supermarket, before triggering the alarms which brought down the emergency shutters in the supermarket that had been installed for no purpose other than that they were quite cheap. But they would serve their purpose. The good people of IRONTown would once again have to try and outwit the mafia who wanted to kill them.... Your role was to have an X% chance of finding the body that the Mafia Janitor had hidden, thus discovering its role and alignment. Since the Janitor never hid anything, you never found anything.

As soon as it's ready and I've written all the Role PMs for you guys! There'll be more information coming later today, I aim to get all the PMs sent sometime tomorrow.

GAME NOTES (made up right now): - I'd like to apologise again Re: The cock up with the Security Guard on night 1. I tried to defuse the situation as best I could, and I did hope that it wouldn't be seen as indicative of ccabal's alignment, but there you go. It happens, I guess. - I tried to make the game interesting by putting in lots of one-use power roles for the town so there would be no vanilla townies. However, this did mean that there were a lot more confirmable townies in the game, which really narrowed down lynch targets later on in the game. I tried to balance it with Electric Mango and ccabal, along with Preston's lack of ability to hammer, but I don't think I balanced it out quite enough. I don't think not giving the scum fakeclaims helped either. But I was hoping on a bit of imaginative lying. - Once it got to the final day, I think the outcome was inevitable. Props to Preston, you played the game really well. I hope everyone had fun at least. If you have ANY more questions about the game, ask away!

Only four people were left in the IRONTown Baths. Talk was slow, with everyone occasionally glancing back towards the changing rooms where the bodies accumulated over the past few days had been piled up. They knew there was still a traitor in their midst, but it was down to them to find out who it was. Eyes drifted between the survivors, and gradually, they landed on Tactical Evil Dan. He was grabbed unceremonially and thrown into the pool, where he began to struggle with his clothes that weighed him down. One by one, Kaziocore, Preston, and CD jumped in after him to make sure he wouldn't be leaving the pool still drawing breath. Once he had stopped drawing said breath, and the gathered pool-goers had dragged him back out, they noticed a pistol tucked in his trousers - and ID that identified him quite clearly as Godfather Tony. With a sigh of relief, the townsfolk sat back. "Game over." Tactical Evil Dan, MAFIA GODFATHER, has been lynched. CanucksDynasty, SECURITY GUARD, has survived! Preston, COWARDLY LIFEGUARD, has survived! Kaziocore, FIRST-AID LIFEGUARD, has survived! By the time people's eyes started to flicker open on the fifth day stuck inside the swimming pool, the sun was already shining in through the windows. As the remaining IRONTowners walked into the pool, they were greeted with a sickening sight. A few turned away and ran to the bathroom, covering their faces, as they saw the body of a small child lying face-down at the side of the pool, face completely blue, a small trickle of blood that had run from his ears now dried into blackness. ccabal86, CURIOUS CHILD, has been killed. It is now DAY FIVE. Deadline for today is Saturday 2nd April.

The people of IRONTown were nervous. After the invasion of the local swimming pool, it seemed there was nowhere that was safe from the ensuing horde of mafioso. As night began to dawn on the pool, KevinH was growing weaker and weaker. Whilst the first-aid had given him life for the day, lack of medical supplies other than the usual bandages & painkillers meant that the water that had previously flooded his lungs was taking its toll. But still he made an effort to contribute, even though by the end of the day it was as much as he could do to mutter his words and point his finger at who he thought were the ones who had nearly killed him. But eventually, 5 fingers were pointing at AKCPLUTO, who in turn shrugged and backed off from the ensuing mob (Minus KevinH, sat on the floor wearily). "Come on guys, don't do this! They're gonna win!" But his words of protestation weren't enough for the lynch mob, who dragged him over to the side of the pool and dunked his head in, roaring with anger. As they were doing so, KevinH leaned back and sighed, closing his eyes. They weren't going to open again. KevinH, Friendly Neighbour, has died. Soon, AKCPLUTO also went silent. Dragging his body out of the pool they found a pistol sneakily concealed in a holster, as well as a crude map of the building. They had succeeded! AKCPLUTO, One-Use Mafia Janitor, has been lynched! It is now NIGHT FOUR! Night Actions to me by Thursday please.

Alright, guys, I'm back! Seems you've reached a conclusion, so I'll get working on things right now.

Kaziocore can be seen crouched above the unconscious form of KevinH. With quick first-aid techniques, it is only a matter of minutes before a miraculous sound could be heard. KevinH rolls over so he is face-down and coughs-hurls repeatedly, ejecting the water that had been in his lungs. Kaziocore sits next to him as he steadily recovers, looking pleased. "I feel terrible..." KevinH muttered after a minute. "Be glad you can feel at all..." Was the reply. "I-I don't think I'll last long..." KevinH has been revived, and can now talk & vote again!

Well, I'm gonna be busy this weekend but if there's nothing else in signups by, say, monday, I'll open TMCWPTI 2.

If no-one else is willing I'd be happy to dream up a TMCWPTI #2. If they are willing, go ahead and open signups. I might have to jump in.

Day dawns once more on the pool. And, once more, there's a body floating in it. You drag the body out of the pool to discover it's the body of KevinH - quite well-known and well-loved around the community. Shame. KevinH, FRIENDLY NEIGHBOUR, has been killed. It is now DAY FOUR. I would assume that players wouldn't lie about communication from me. Perhaps I should make that another rule, hm? I wanted to impact the game as little as possible, hence the PM rather than public announcement. Yes, a mistake was made N1. But I've worked around it and ccabal's role has been modified to that effect. I can't confirm his role nor whether whatever it is is pro-town or pro-mafia. I'll leave you to discuss that amongst yourselves.
