  1. We had some pretty strong roles and there was a bullet proof SK.. game balance requires that there would something on Mafia's side to make that even. Once again, I can't be sure but I am not willing to risk the chance of additional kills in night.
  2. Exactly. So lynch KevinH first and see if fermion kills who we tell him to. If he does then hes a townie because scum vig isn't a thing (best of my knowledge). I have far less doubt about kevin then i do fermion, and the fact that kevin jumped on the wagon so early only makes me think that fermion is the vig more. vote KevinH You don't seem to understand that if one kill is wrong in the night then the game is over. If Fermion is scum and still has the ability to kill in the night again, its game over. His abilities don't give us an extra lynch in the night. We have already seen a town JOAT, do you think that we would have more than one roles that can kill in the night? The chance of scum having an extra kill and ending the game tonight is not something that can be ignored. Lynching Fermion ensures that we see another day and gives us a good chance to lynch a scum. Just want to add that I would've addressed your post before voting but I didn't see it at that time.
  3. Didn't get a chance to read this post before I voted but based on what I wrote earlier.. I don't see a way around it.. we can't let anyone who can possibly kill extra townies in the night stay in the game.
  4. I really see no alternative, we have to lynch Fermion. If my judgement is wrong, it could be game over. Vote: Fermion
  5. I know, but the problem is, if he gets it wrong one more time its game over. 3 v 3 is a scum win.. Atm, we have two alternatives 1) Trust Fermion and leave him alive - If he is scum and still has the ability to kill then its game over. 2) Lynch Fermion - If he is town, we start tomorrow 4 v 3. Its not going to be easy but its not game over.
  6. My bad, you are right but that just makes my job harder
  7. Pun intended? Your arguments are good and I have to say that it makes a lot more sense to take out someone who has a very good probability of being scum. With that said, I want to take a little time to think before I place the hammer vote. The way I see it, if Fermion is town (flavor seems to indicate a vig kill), tomorrow morning we would be in a 5 v 3 and with Rafay being rather inactive.. it would be very difficult to lynch a scum. (assuming Rafay is town).
  8. Samus, you need to be patient with the game. It can be frustrating but also incredibly rewarding. Whenever you feel that people are targeting you, take a step back and try to figure out why. Activity is good but you need to plan it as a scum as well as a townie. Right now, your issue is similar to how micros used to react to things in OWF i.e. not completely thought out.. Take a break, plan your next move and carry on. Hope to see you in a mafia game sometime
  9. I will wait for your reasons before I vote.
  10. Rather interesting bit of information but the fact that Fermion owned up to his kill makes his appear more townie than Rhizo did to me. Still, Vig is considered a negative town role for a reason (they mostly get it wrong) and I think lynching him might help the town but it might not be the best we can achieve today. Now, time for my crazy theory, Imran is 2/2 on investigating people who did the kills and I hope that he is town but he is either lucky or erm.. there is something scummy going on. I hope my suspicions are unfounded but I am a little worried as he might be leading us to killing people that scum would want dead. Tbh, a bullet proof SK is not a role scum can take out easily and while vig has been useful for them so far, the odds of a scum being taken out increase every night. With all that said, I don't know if Fermion is Vig or Scum JOAT and am still rather confident that Imran is a townie.
  11. I really want to hear the thoughts of iSoc/Rafay and Fermion. They have been awfully quiet and are not inactive. @CoD, based on flavor, it looks like Mandarijn was killed by scum while TheDoom might have been a vig kill.
  12. Imho, only scum can be happy with no lynch in this scenario. Tbh, if you guys want to take Rhizo's word, I would much rather that you vote for me or TheDoom. Perhaps I am reading it wrong but I see this as an open and shut case and we are not able to lynch Rhizo because we have inactive townies. Mod: Can we get a prod on the inactives?
  13. I am a little concerned to see veterans not voting for Rhizo, while I agree that he has made a rather passionate appeal to consider the counter options, I think the possibility of any or all of that being true is much lower than what we know to be true. The adage that comes to mind is "The simplest explanation is usually the right one" and as a townie, I can't think of any other options that are better for the town at this time. I recall a game where Preston used very similar methods to trick town into not voting for him. He was a master of long posts and while I wouldn't say that Rhizo is at that level yet, he is damn close.. Kudos to you sir.. especially if you turn out to be a scum and if I were a betting man, I would still bet that you are one.
  14. Just wanted to address this point since Imran seems to think that this doesn't implicate you further but imho it does. Now, so far we have seen 2 townie power roles i.e. Tracker and Sane Cop, if a JOAT were to be added to the mix it would mean that town could potentially investigate 3 players in a night. I think this game is a role madness (i.e. almost everyone has a power role) but if a role like JOAT was also townie then it would make the setup very imbalanced. I feel that this would be a mafia role to balance the game. I admire the passion with which you are trying to argue that you are not scum but I don't see anything that would make me doubt that you are scum. My vote stays.
  15. I wouldn't call it suicide, its quite possible that the game has a doctor and he would be protected. Also, if he was scum, he would never try to lead a lynch on day 2. He would be lynched the next day and since there are usually 3 townies per scum, it would actually benefit us. I saw Rhizo reading the thread and he didn't post. Time to wrap this one up. Vote:Rhizo
  16. I have to say that Imran seems to have hit the nail on the head. I would love to see what Rhizo has to say before voting because I hate bandwagons and this one is probably going to become one pretty quickly. The game suddenly got a lot interesting... @Rafay, why do you think that Imran is not a tracker?
  17. This is just a thought but since shah was revealed as sane cop, would that mean that there are other cops in the game that might not be sane ?
  18. Sane cop reveals the orientation i.e. townie or mafia while role cop reveals the role. A rather important role was lost but I hope we would find something useful during the day.
  19. I guess I missed the signup. Let me know if you guys need a replacement.
  20. Oh well.. I don't see any posts that would make any of you stand out.. YOU ARE ALL SCUM and so.. I am doomed. Vote:No lynch
  21. Wasn't there a game where Kevin posted in Haikus? Also, bravo sir.. you just made me spit my coffee..
  22. This is exactly why I want to keep the day going, now you have a reason to suspect me and similarly there would be other actions that can be used. A quick end to any day will always favor the scum and while there is not any information that the town can use to find scum, we will seldom be sure and it is these discussions that would help. Also, just wanted to add that I am not against no lynch but am dead against a quick end to the day. Nothing wrong with being suspicious and on ones toes. If people are looking to lynch someone, at least I'm giving a possible reason why. What else would you like to do...no one actually put forth any effort to point out suspicion and wait to get picked off tonight when the scum vote, and already down a townie? It seemed No lynch was the going thing (I was fine since not much to go off of) until unvotes started happening. I am interested to know why you think we are down a townie? or maybe I am reading it wrong and you meant that we would be down one after the night.
  23. I see a bandwagon forming for no lynch and I am not comfortable ending the day so quickly. Unvote
  24. In before Kevin. Vote:No lynch
  25. I''ve read the rules stated above and agree to them. Very interesting rules.. looking forward to it.
