  5. With so many town investigative abilities, are you surprised that there is a miller in the mix? If I am counting it right, so far, we have seen 1 role cop, 1 cop and at least 2 trackers.. Yes, I am a miller and I wouldn't hold it against anyone if they decided to lynch me. Anyhow, here is my take on Lyner's claim. Do I trust the claim? Yes Does this mean he is town? Very likely but I am a little concerned about the balance of the game with all the investigative abilities. Its possible that he is scum who investigated me last night and has just hit the jackpot. if this is true, I would love to read the reactions in the scum thread after the game is over. Is it a good idea to lynch me? Imran can investigate and clear me.. but guess that might be difficult as he was roleblocked last night and he might be again. Would my being miller confirm Lyner is town? No All that said, I trust Lyner enough to not vote for him and of all the games I have played so far, I feel Rafay has acted least scummy in this one. So.. Unvote
  6. Scum had better wagons to jump onto (d3mon or Lyner) instead of buddy scum Rafay wagon with 2nd vote. I don't know, its also possible that scum are already on that wagon and didn't want to go all in but fair point.
  7. Really surprised that there have been so many role claims. While, I agree with the premise that there are just too many tracker role claims for all to be town, the speed with which this bandwagon has formed makes me a little nervy. Rafay is expected to be back before deadline, I would like him to get a chance to post and defend himself. @Imran, why do you think Rafay being scum would clear EM?
  8. I try to avoid posting fluff which unfortunately means that I would never have the highest post count in any game. I am guessing that things got lost in all the discussion but I provided a list of possible scum and still believe that Lyner is our best bet. Is it possible that I am wrong?.. ofcourse.. but I just don't believe that such an obvious scum move should be ignored. @Robert, why do you believe that Lyner is a Townie? Well, first off, he's made no friends during the day phase. A Townie can't trust anybody until they are proven guilty. If you get false sense of trust, you probably going to get shot or get stabbed in the back. Some people reasoning for thinking people town this game are, how I say, Crap. The entire lynch wagon on lyner was based upon Lyners first vote of the game. the first vote in the game is almost always spam. So seeing a no lynch bandwagon in "Honor" of Kevin (witch I doubt he'd forgive us for no lynching without him) was mainly spam. Could of it gotten out of hand? Maybe. But unlikely. All eyes would of been on the people placing the final no lynch. Lyner is also actively scum hunting and I intend to agree with his points for now. That could change, but I've seen more townie out of him than most the time. (He tends to be neck and neck with EM most the time.) Another point I want to address D3mon, I get the feeling there more of a reason you're simply asking a simple why I think lyner is town. Therefore its only made me more suspicious of you. I have no proof on this but its mainly gut. We all have our gut feelings and I can't do anything to change that. I get the feeling that you have something other than the posts that we have read so far that proves that Lyner is town. Unfortunately, I have no way to prove that and without you being totally honest I can't take your word for it. If its really your gut vs mine then one of us is really hurting the town.

  10. So, after going to the well of inactivity once, do you think its wise to go there again? I am not the most active person but do you really think I have been too inactive?
  11. There is no reason whatsoever for scum to target an inactive town, plus I have been active more than you, while the the vote and my inactivity yesterday is already explained. You're repeating yesterday's argument Tbh, I never realized I was more inactive than you. I guess I should start posting more. I know I am kinda repeating the arguments from yesterday, but I tend to go with "what moves like a scum and looks like a scum" is scum. It tends to work ok, but I can understand if everybody doesn't agree with me.
  12. erm.. I guess me and Lyner started posting at the same time. Anyhow, my vote stays.
  13. There is a lot of good information to go on here. The first thing that surprises me is that I wasn't targeted by the scum, then again, perhaps they wanted to keep a low profile and went after an easy target. Now, if I were to draw a list of suspects, it would go like (in order of scumminess) 1. Lyner - I haven't forgotten your vote on day 1 and your lack of activity just makes me more suspicious. 2. Imran - He went from opposing a Lyner lynch to a supporter. If he was a newbie, perhaps I could have discarded it but he cannot get that benefit anymore, also flip flopping positions is not something I would associate with a townie. Imho, one of Imran and Lyner is definitely scum. 3. Preston - I am not sure why but I get a scummy vibe from him. Maybe its because he is too active.. Idk, I just get that feeling. Also, while TBR is not in my top three list of suspects, I am still not sure of his townlines.. then again, I am not sure about anyone. Vote:Lyner
  14. We still have sometime before this day ends, so I don't think its time to start thinking about lynching inactives but I might consider it when we get closer to the deadline. @Kevin - Was Montosh Prodded?
  15. I believe that what you did was indeed scummy. I don't expect everyone to share my views but for day 1 that was a pretty strong move. I am not averse to lynching inactives or perhaps even no lynch (after all the finger pointing) and while I can believe that your move was just a slip up, in my experience, slip ups are usually a scum tell. Except I do not agree at all that the scum will be in a rush to end the day on a No Lynch so early when they have plenty of time to pick on the inactive townies and get a lynch there. It makes no sense why they would jump at a chance to end the day with no lynch when they have days ahead of them to get a lynch on a townie. Lynching townies > > ending day early with No Lynch. I would say the scum were not in the No Lynch wagon and even if they were they voted No Lynch early in the RVS. I am more suspicious of those who were not on the wagon and you specifically in trying to use that as an excuse to get a lynch wagon. I appreciate that you are trying to argue the counter point but I will like to respectfully disagree. Yes, scum might not always be in favor of no lynch on day 1 but consider the scenario we have right now where its pretty clear that you are accusing Preston of being scum and thus if, you were night killed, we would have a reason to suspect Preston. Now, lets assume that the no lynch wagon had managed to get the majority (and all it needed was one vote), and for some reason your were night killed. That would have given us absolutely no help on day 2. I don't think no lynch on day 1 is always bad, but as I have said before, the discussion that we have in this thread is the most important weapon for the town. It might not always lead to conclusive results but it usually provides insight without which the town is left shooting in the dark. I wouldn't have been suspicious of Lyner if he had voted for no lynch when we were close to the end of the day but the fact we ended up that close to no lynch on page 1 just makes me suspicious.
  16. I will try to post my thoughts later in the day.
  17. I agree, the inactives don't help town. Also, as we saw in the last game, it is easy for scum to barely post and stay away from limelight. Still, considering the time of the year, I think it would be hasty to start judging people based on it. I don't consider one or two votes for someone as a bandwagon but three quick votes get my attention. So, in my book, TBR was the one to start the bandwagon. Now, that alone is not enough to suspect a new player but hey, its enough to start noticing him. It was actually his OOC comment that reminded everyone of taking it easy on a new guy that pushed him into my FoS.. heck its day 1 and all I have is my spidey sense Votes from EM and Lyner were worse but tbh I was expecting EM (and Kazio) to vote for no lynch. I have seen numerous games with day 1 spent in lynch vs no lynch debate and well.. KevinH has always been a staunch supporter of no lynch while they have spent a lot of time trying to convince him otherwise. That leaves us Lyner and Rafay.. Now, I find it very difficult to read Rafay as he always seem to go with the flow (irrespective of his role) and joining a bandwagon is nothing different from what I have seen him do but I can't explain what Lyner was thinking. So, here it goes Vote:Lyner
  18. Imho, Town's most important weapon is this thread. The no lynch bandwagon was so close to getting the majority that it might've caused us to loose an entire day worth of discussion. I am usually not suspicious of early bandwagons but I have to say that your vote was either a newbie mistake (probable) or a clever attempt by scum to end the day quickly (a newbie scum mistake?). FoS: TBRaiders
  19. I think it was supposed to be a joke.
  20. I don't like the fact that we are so close to no lynch. I understand the votes(its KevinH's game) but imho no lynch without discussion is worse than a townie being lynched. Unvote
  21. And, so it begins. Vote: No Lynch Just wouldn't feel right if KevinH's game didn't start with this.

    I will join.
  23. I thought there are 3 mafia members and you're just trolling me I thought the scum and SK will just claim who they were, kill the townie and win the game. What happened was rather interesting.
  24. And I was thinking you wouldn't be able to pull this off Did you deliberately give me the SK role :/ This is my second time as SK. The last one was abandoned. Nope, I rolled dice using http://www.random.org/dice/ The comment was because, I thought after the game setup that the SK role wasn't powerful enough to really win the game.
