  1. Well yes, but I forgot to add that you looked suspicious when you were doubting Samus' claim. Correct. You had a spat with Rusken earlier in the day not with Yehom. Mixed the two up. @Shah - Interesting theory regarding two scum factions. But since we have not seen 2 night kills, that would mean the scum teams are also odd/even aligned. So maybe one team can kill only on odd nights and the second can kill on even nights.
  2. Here's my thoughts on potential scum and townies. Yehom: Very likely scum. Was voting for Robert early on the game before switching votes to put the hammer vote on FF on D1. Started lurking on D2 -> only started posting after it was pointed out he was visiting the thread but not posting. Follows up with another spat with Robert and ended the day voting for him. Claims he has no odd/even action and did not send any actions as well. Has not claimed to be a vanilla townie as well. Not sure what his stance was on the Rusken wagon. He may have been ignoring it while focusing on defending himself from Robert's accusations. Might have known Rusken is a townie and did not want to stay on another townie lynch. The Warrior: Potential scum. Voted for Robert on D1 and then switched to the FF wagon on D1. Did not vote for anyone of D2. Was accused by Samus the cop on D2 supported by Mandarijn. Claims to have been undecided between Robert and Rusken. Was followed by Finster on N2 which confirms he did not perform the Samus kill (assuming FB is town) but however has indicated he may have a power role. Perez: Potential scum. Has lurked for most of the game and posted very little until very recently when pushed by others. Started off voting for iSocialism and then continued lurking for the rest of the day. Put the hammer vote on the Rusken lynch. Claims to have a power role but has revealed no results as of yet. Potential scum tactic to not be lynched while lurking by way of claiming to have a power role for townies. Robert2424: Likely town. Voted for several ppl on D1 including iSocialism while claiming he wants No Lynch. Claimed to be a odd tracker who targeted Yehom on N1 and saw no movement from Yehom. Spent D2 accusing Yehom of being scum and ended the day voting for him. Although a bit suspicious to me during the early stages of the game, I am leaning towards him being town. If yehom is scum then Robert is definitely town. Imran Ehsan: Confirmed Town. Although has been guilty of being involved in 2 townie lynches, point to note here is wagon built on his vote and not the other way around. Potential scums jumped or people being voted by him to potentially paint an innocent townie as being scum. Also was roleblocked on N2, which shows scum team are wary of his analysis and wants to make sure he has as little info as possible to use his superior analysis skillz. Road2Victory: Neutral. Spent day 1 with spamming and random votes before settling on an iSocialism vote on D1. Did not vote for anyone on D2 while saying he suspect Rusken is scum. Also has been very fast on trying to paint others as potential scum building on suspicions of other townies. Has been careful to stay off townie lynch wagons, possibly indicating he may have known they will turn up town. However, has claimed to be an odd Watcher who watched Robert on D1. Was targeted by Rusken on N1 and saw no activity on him. While an odd Watcher makes sense in terms of the game setup his gameplay has been scummy, and I am still unsure of whether he may not be a Scum Watcher. Electric Mango: Potential Scum. Has been unusually quite. Spent day 1 with random vote on Samus before switching to a Finster vote at end of D1. On D2 was quick to jump on the Rusken wagon. Has claimed no role or even indicated anything regarding roles. Too quite and too careful. Shahenshah: Likely Town. Joined on D2 and was on the lynch wagon for Rusken. However, has been active and has done some very good analysis and bringing up more discussion topics instead of lurking. Havent found anything negative on him yet. Lyner: Confirmed town. Confirmed be cop as towny. However has been inactive/lurking. Voted for iSocialism on D1 and been pretty inactive on D2. Potential of being a scum Godfather but I do not think so. Rafay: Very likely scum. Has been lurking all throughout the game and when he has been posting seemed like he hasnt read through the thread and was just skimming. Voted for TW on D1 and stayed off the lynch wagon on D2. Seems to be careful of not being on any townie lynch wagon while lurking. iSocialism: Potential Scum. Voted for CS on D1 before ending the day with a vote on Rusken. Voted for me on D2 while saying he thinks Rusken is scum. Another case of staying carefully off lynch wagons while agreeing that the current player likely to get should be lynched. Spent D2 with a spat with Yehom. Has not claimed any role or indicated whether he has any or not but has been shortlisting other ppl as potential scum as they have not claimed as well. However, has been active and has looked to scum hunt diligently. If he is scum, he is playing it well. If Yehom turns scum, he is conformed town. Mandarijn: Neutral. Is convinced TW is scum and has been pushing for his lynch on D1. Was the only person to not have voted for anyone on D1 but was on the Rusken lynch wagon on D2. Was initially lurking on D1 but has been active since then. Has claimed no roles but is convinced all townies have power roles. Potentially might be fishing to find out what other power roles townies have while not revealing any power of his own. However, has been doing good analysis and if he is scum is playing it well. Although I dont think a scum will be pushing for the lynch of one person in particular (TW) unless he has some night info on him that others dont have. Neutral about him for the moment. Finster Baby: Potential Scum. Came as a replacement for CS on D1 and was on the FF lynch wagon on D1. Was on the TW wagon on D2 before jumping on the Rusken wagon. Always posts a vote and says his mind is open to change, and he has indeed shifted his votes around to apparently where the votes are flowing. Scum like behavior but has claimed to be an even Follower. Claims to have targeted TW on N2 and seen him not go anywhere. if TW is scum, chances are Finster is also scum and the Follower claim comes from him trying to lower suspicion on TW. So thats my thoughts currently. I am confident I have the scum on my Very Likely and Most Likely scum categories, with Potential Scum and Neutrals being of less chance of being scum. I will see how this day progresses before updating my judgements. Disclaimer: I skimmed through the last 40 pages to do the above analysis, so I may have missed some info.
  3. We know who has odd night actions. So do the scum. They probably have a role blocker in their team as well, so I wont be surprised if they block one of the townies who has already power roles. So that means less probability of information for the town on D4. As already pointed out, with the cop already dead we have now lost our chance of proving anyone as scum with 100% certainty until they are lynched. If we just sit on our hands doing nothing, nothing will happen. There is no cop who will ride in with a white horse and say "this is one of the scum!". So yeah, I am leaning more towards a lynch than a No lynch. I would really like to hear Lyner's view on things before I cast my vote. He is the only confirmed townie we have right now and I can be sure I am not being led by an argument from one of the scum.
  4. Captain America will die, Bucky will become the new Captain America maybe after becoming Nomad. Tony Stark will retire from Ironman, or Pepper is killed and he loses it. A few other avengers will die that are not really that important, god hope Hawkeye is one. Peggy Carter will die as well. Well seems like War Machine will die. They pretty much show it in the trailer. I dont think they will kill off Captain America, more likely Bucky will die. They wont kill off Hawkeye, he is the only guy with a family...lol. I think they will kill off the Black Widow...maybe. Anyway, excited for the movie to come out.
  5. With 13 alive this means: Scenario A: If there are 5 scum: 8 townies / 5 scum Scenario B: If there are 4 scum: 9 townies / 4 scum ( i am assuming there are no SKs in the game as we have not seen any extra kills). So if we mislynch today, and scum successfully kills again in the night, then on D4 we will have the following: Scenario A: 6 townies / 5 scum Scenario B: 7 townies / 4 scum So in the worst case scenario with 5 scum we can afford one more mislynch (2 mislynches for Scenario before scum wins. So its still close but not the end of the world. Normally I am completely against no lynches, but we have a lot of investigate roles in this game. So it is very likely someone will get caught with their hand in the cookie jar at night. So I am open to this idea of a no lynch today. On the flip side, with no lynches we dont get any voting history and the townies only weapon of eliminating the scum are through lynches. So if we end up againi on D4 with 0 info from today I am not sure if no lynching will be a good idea.
  6. Were you actually role blocked or was it just Shamus that was Ascetic? I didnt use my action on Samus. I am not 100% sure I was role blocked but I know my action did not go through..so it might have been some other action that was put on me..but i am betting on a role block. I am still not exactly sure your reasons for the TW vote. I know on Day 1 you followed the Samus vote on him saying how he flip flopped and called out Robert, but has there been anything new to suggest he may be scum? I am extremely uncomfortable why the lurkers and those who are not posting much. Someone mentioned it, but I also agree that it seems like they are skating by without posting their thoughts or even taking any stances that keep their position very vague. So I would really like to hear more from Perez, Rafay and EM. I would also add Lyner to this list but we now know he is town, so his thoughts will also be interesting.
  7. Ok heres some info from last night. I was role blocked yesterday. So the scum has a role blocker in their team.
  8. One of my fav shows as well. Who said they were disappointed in Season 3? I loved it. Cant wait for the new season.
  9. Just saw it today actually ..lol I thought the story overall was OK..I have seen better. Liam Neeson's "The Grey" was very similar but better imo. The Revenant was a bit too slow imo and the ending was kinda dull. Caprio's acting was also just ok..nothing extra ordinary. But the cinematography was breathtaking. Awesome scenery and shots. Really loved it. Overall 7/10.
  10. http://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Ascetic So basically if he was slotted for night kill there was no way to stop that? Considering a townie rallied the lynch wagon, that's a bad argument. Imran has given very little input on who he think scum is, like a long list. He more rides the wave of everyone else. False. I have posted who I think scum and townie are a lot more than most of the players in this game has: http://ironcentral.org/community/topic/55574-kh-11-the-force-awakens-mafia-day-3/?p=826076 Note that I had pegged Rusken to be town at that point. But he really acted scummily after that which made not only me but the majority of the players suspect him as scum. And your other point holds no water. If I was bndwagoning I would have been in the middle or towards the end of the wagons not in the beginning. FF, I was first to vote for. Rusken I was second. Scum would ride on the wagons created by others not be on the forefront. Other ppl wagoned on who I was voting for on that day not the other way around. Anyway, I am more suspicious of those who were not on the Rusken wagon. Rusken was acting extremely scummily and it seems only the scum knew for sure he was townie and held off on jumping on that wagon knowing very well he will get lynched whether they voted for him or not.
  11. Well I am now well and truly confused. Rusken turning up town and Samus getting killed even after having a few ppl visit him is just weird.
  12. kind of bold for scum to still target Samus knowing we have a watcher and potentially a doctor, this could means 3 things: 1. Mafia knows Samus is Ascetic 2. The watcher is in mafia's side, or 3. There is a mafia ninja This makes sense. Samus was the Universal Backup so he inherited FFs role, which means he also got the Ascetic ability which stopped all protective actions against him except the kill.
  13. I am not sure how a rolestopper would have made the kill possible. If Mafia A Role stops Samus so no protection ability could touch him, that would also mean the Kill action by Mafia B would be blocked. This. I would like to hear the results from the townies who had already revealed their roles.
  14. first player being Samus -> as he was the first to put the vote on Rusken I am assuming. you mean the doc was blocked? if mafia was blocked they would not have been able to kill Samus.
  15. wow...I would have thought at least someone would try to save the cop? "many players visited" -> it seems like we had watchers or trackers target him?
  16. I got to see the "town hall" debate that happened right before the Iowa caucus and Sanders was very impressive. A lot of things he said made sense although he was like "Yes I will raise taxes..Yes I will!" I would have thought thats something you really dont want to emphasize when you looking for votes. But he pulled it off well. Also he made some really good points on how he has good judgement as opposed to Hillary. He also was able to highlight his american story about how his parents came to the USA with no money and would have never believed that their son could one day be running for the president. I thought he connected really well in the emotional level compared to Hillary, although she has a longer track record of able to handle FA efficiently. I doubt he will get the nomination at the end of the day though. Its doubtful he will win many states outside the northeast and Hillary already has a record number of super delegates in her bag which means he is facing a real upfield battle anyway.
  17. You do know that Samus has voted for 4 different ppl this day. And a couple that I disagreed with his reasoning and opposed. So if I were doing what you said I were doing, I would have bandwagoned with him quite a while ago. But wait, you are claiming you have just been skipping reading most of the posts of this thread, so no wonder you didnt notice that.
  18. Oh wow. Agreed with Sammy about the scummy post there Rusken. And to vote for the pretty much confirmed cop? That smells like a really nooby mistake by a scum. And it's your first game so it adds up. I was having a hard time deciding among who to vote for between TW, R2V and yehom. I didn't really want to see any of the 3 lynched tbh. So you just made my decision easier. Vote Rusken
  19. I see no reason to role claim. This only helps the scum. Scum are always fishing for Townie roles so that they can plan their actions at night. To further point out the flaw in your theory there are 4 5 scum in this game probably. Do you really think none of them have any power roles. Pretty sure there are scum watchers or scum trackers as well.
  20. I am sceptical of the strategy that anyone with a unique star wars name is not scum. In other games which Kevin had modded the scum are given cover names as well. You can go and check some of the older games. So R2V is still on my suspicious list. Good news is it seems like we have found a replacement for Kaz. Maybe he can put a fresh eye on things and have a clearer perspective. However its still 27 pages that he has to wade through We are however very close to deadline so we need to really decide on who to lynch. I will post an analysis and my vote by tomorrow..running short on time now.
  21. Can we get the current vote count.
  22. oh wow thats a lot of claims. things finally getting interesting! He wasnt really on my radar until the last few days. Specifically a couple of posts he made. First, when I pointed out (to Mandarijn) that its a strange statement to not want someone post more. R2V quickly followed up with a question something along the lines of "Mandarijn is scum?". So OK I paid that no mind but the same thing happened after Samoos claim. He quickly followed up with "Is Samus' action scummy?" It really looks to me like he is fishing for someone that can be wagoned on. Instead of presenting a clear argument of why he thinks one or the other may be scummy, he is trying to build a wagon or throw suspicion at others without committing himself. From my previous games I have seen that scum rarely want to the take the lead in lynching someone. So they wait for a likely victim to emerge from someone elses suspicions and tries to build up on that to effect a lynch. So his actions the last few days has been consistent with that tactic, which leads me to be very suspicious of him.
  23. I didnt say it was a scum move. I think he is the cop and it was a risky move because you can be sure the scum will be gunning for him now. Though I think the reveal should have been help back until he had confirmed at least one scum. As for who to lynch today, I still havent made up my mind. I am not exactly sold on TWs explanations but at least he is making an effort and I would like to see him for a day or more or so instead of lynching him off right now. I have found R2Vs posts a bit scummy. Also Yehom and Perez are lurking, only to appear and post once it was publicly revealed how they have been on the forums and not posted in this game for days. Robert has also been suspiciously quite compared to him activity on D1. EM has also been quite but not as quite as Robert. I am also a bit suspicious of Mandarijn. He seems to be jumping on wagons based off others accusations without presenting any details on why he thinks his target may be scum (example: jumped on TW wagon right after Samus accused him and his explanation was "what Samus said!" Kaz has been too inactive so no read there. So thats the summary of the people I am looking at and why. I will decide in a day or so where to put my vote on based on above analysis, ps I forgot to add Rusken and Isoc. I think Rusken is town, but iSoc I am not entirely sure yet. pss: Rafay is also very quite. and FB i am not exactly clear yet but I am leaning towards him being town.
  24. Agreed with EM. Highly doubtful scum would make that role claim. So I am gonna believe his claim. However, risky move Sumas. Probably would have been better to reveal your role after you had confirmed at least one scum, but lets keep fingers crossed.
