  1. Well now that Kevin has clarified the no "No Mass Roleclaim" rule, it seems it will be ok if you reveal a bit more about what you found last night. I dont want you to roleclaim but from your post it seems you have some info about another player using his action on me. If that is so, I would be interested to know who the other player was.
  2. I saw him posting in other parts of the forum.
  3. I want to know why EM is lurking.
  4. So you claim you voted me instead of the other 3 you suspect not because of gut feeling? How am I more "scummy"? Basically the same reason I chose you over ABD at the end of last day. Lynching you gives me more info about the alignment of others compared to the other 3 in my short-list. Neither Nick, d3mon or robert had wagons forming on them so we dont have much info from there. However, since my last post, there have been some interesting developments as well as some votes on d3mon so I want to see how those unfold first. Unvote
  5. This is pretty interesting. Can you explain the reasoning for using your night action on me without role-claiming?
  6. I never supported Lyner. I didnt like the argument Preston was making that scum would jump to end the day on a No Lynch when they have days to get a lynch on a townie. It could have been Robert or Kaz or TBR who put the 5th no lynch vote. My point would still be the same -> scum would prefer lynches and as we just saw from last nights action they didnt even manage a kill. Lynching for themis much much better than no lynching. At end of day I switched my vote to Lyner because I didnt want an obviously inactive townie lynch. It could have been ABD that I switched my votes to (explained in my earlier post from last day). I wanted a 2nd wagon going. Now this day is different from last day. Last day we have No info. Last day my votes were based on what will give me more info for the later days..not necessarily because I believed the ones I am voting for (or defending) were scum (or townie). On this day, my voting will be based on last days actions and last nights action. Voting will be based on actual events and not gut feelings or scummy newby statements. So no. There is no flip flopping on my votes. All of my actions had a valid reason.
  7. So Rafay moves to the townie list based on ABD's claims I would say. Kill attempts were not targeted at Preston and as Preston himself mentioned earlier he may have drawn some townie protective action due to his vocal stance on Day 1. I am tending to believe ABD's own role claim as well although I dont think blowing Rafay's action so early is a good thing for the town. I think TBR is town as well that cuts down my list of probable scum to: Robert2424, Nick The Great, Rafay, ABigDeer, Lyner, Preston, D3mon, Kaziocore, Imran Ehsan, Electric Mango, TBRaiders I am unsure about EM and Preston still, but EM being targeted gives him some townie points (although it may have been the Vig). Preston has been leading town discussion so gets a pass for now as well. Good point from TBR (or Preston?) about Kaz. His last post before day end was definitely townie centric. That leaves Robert, Nick, Lyner and D3mon We have a good chance hitting scum in that list in my opinion. I will be pushing for a Lyner lynch as I am finding him a bit scummier compared to the others. Vote: Lyner
  8. Its a Vigilante, not a SK: Now why would a Vig target either EM or TBR?
  9. Two attempted kills. Interesting. Seems like we a Vigilante or a Serial Killer. Also interesting that 2 players who were voting ABD were both targeted.
  10. Great article. Really highlights the hypocrisy.
  11. I lol'ed. I didnt mind Bush that much though..but then if I were American I would probably vote Republican.
  12. Just came across this on the web and thought this is applicable to some people on this thread as well. One Tweet from J.K. Rowling Perfectly Shuts Down Rupert Murdoch's Anti-Muslim Rhetoric
  13. Mod-killing is a great idea. We dont have to waste a lynch on an inactive person.
  14. I did not shift vote because Kaz convinced me what you could not. I shifted vote because this will give more info to the town after today than lynching an inactive Montosh. Even the people voting for him are now saying, Montosh is probably town, so they have a defense ready for the next day if Montosh turns out townie. I had a choice of shifting vote to either ABigDeer or Lyner as both had 3 votes each after Kaz voted for Lyner. ABD has been making suspicious statements but lynching Lyner will give more info to the town. If he turns out scum, it confirms a couple of people as townie, if he turns out townie it reinforces my suspicions on a couple of people. People voting for Lyner had some good arguments to push a lynch so this gives a good set of info for use in the next days. On the other hand votes on ABD are based on some contradictory and scummy statements from him. I am not actually sure what EM is basing his vote on but TB and Lyner's votes are based on his postings on his last 2 days. I didn't give much weight to these votes because townies normally post a lot and pretty much always makes some stupid comments. Scum try to keep a low profile comparatively. Lyner has been keeping a lower profile compared to ABD. So to summarise: - I want to see if votes shift based on 2 possible lynch wagons compared to the easy inactive lynch of Montosh - I want to see how people react to the forming of wagons on them and on others - Montosh lynch isnt giving us much info atm - Lyner lynch gives us more info compared to ABD lynch
  15. Which means the scums are safe right now and one of us might be scum, I know it's not me so you look suspicious to me We have a lot of time back then and you choose to do this now(around 40 hours left till the day ends)? Incase more people wagons into me I'd only have little time to prove my innocence. +1 scummy point for Imran. Anyway it is now 4 votes for both me and Montosh You have 40 hrs to prove your townliness. Go ahead. I never said this is my final vote. So you have a chance to make me vote otherwise still.
  16. Because there are too many people saying "ohh Montosh is probably town but we should lynch him". Now I am giving you all the option to take a stand. If you think Montosh is town dont vote for him.
  17. This is a good point. I like Kaz's analysis above too. Lets see what happens if we put the pressure on some on these other guys. Unvote Vote: Lyner Also updated vote count please.
  18. Why are you leaving out Lyner as a potential lynch candidate? He has 3 votes on him.
  19. Yeah well known targets. I guess UN buildings sheltering children are havens for terrorists. Anyway, pardon me if I dont give a shit if some lunatic fanatic somewhere kills a few xenphobic and racist cartoonists.
  20. Indeed the Aks-74u is a carbine. However, it inadvertently tends to be labelled as a submachine gun. Same thing with the Car-15/Colt Commando, which is a rifle but everyone thinks its a submachine gun. From what I understand, the IDF and Israeli intelligence services did their best to warn Palestinians prior to being attacked. Calling cell phones or texting warnings, sending messages to home owners or aparement building residents giving them enough time to vacate. If anything, what happened last year was probably the kindest war Israel has ever fought since they put such a huge effort into trying to protect civilians. Which also led to reduced effectiveness of strikes since Hamas was now tipped off to where and what sites were going to get bombed. Rather difficult to conduct military operations when your oppenent intentionally hides amongst civilians. Successful counter insurgency is incredibly hard to achieve. Recent history only has a small handful of counter insurgency operations that achieved their goals. Over 2000 civilians killed including 513 children. If you call that a kind war, you need to re-examine your values.
  21. Its funny to see the racists, xenophobes and zionists jump out of the woodwork. Where was your outrage when Israel systematically destroyed a whole city full of civilians and children a few months ago?
  22. Unless there is a replacement ready or any sign that Montosh will be returning to activity any time soon, he is a liability to the town. Even if he has a townie power role if he is too inactive he will not be able to utilize it correctly or use the info from that power role to help the town. In addition on Day 2 or Day 3 he will still stay a target for a lynch by being inactive and scum hunting will be side tracked as people will still be making the same arguments of lynching the inactives. On Day 1, no one knows anything and all kinds of accusations and suspisions and what not are based on nothing more than just "gut feelings". Day 1 is the best time to lynch the inactives instead of Day 2 or Day 3 or keeping him hanging as a question mark in the hope he becomes active or a replacement comes in.
  23. He was pretty inactive last game actually and it actually helped him from getting lynched until the very last day. lurking is a sign of scum.
  24. Post count means nothing really on Day 1. People post a lot of random crap. There are also some (Kaz) who will reply to different people using different posts (instead of doing the multi-quote thing that I use). Posts with content and people actively trying to contribute is whats important. fluff posts = bad even if high in number. Anyway, Montosh is way too inactive. Unvote Vote: Montosh Still suspicious of Preston but at least he has argued his points. We will see how things progress in the later days.
  25. Except I do not agree at all that the scum will be in a rush to end the day on a No Lynch so early when they have plenty of time to pick on the inactive townies and get a lynch there. It makes no sense why they would jump at a chance to end the day with no lynch when they have days ahead of them to get a lynch on a townie. Lynching townies > > ending day early with No Lynch. I would say the scum were not in the No Lynch wagon and even if they were they voted No Lynch early in the RVS. I am more suspicious of those who were not on the wagon and you specifically in trying to use that as an excuse to get a lynch wagon.
