Thats a very good point. kevin went to L-1 and rafay posted after that (and before montosh unvoted) and he didn't hammer. But he had no problems hammering Lyner later on in the game. So either its pretty bad play by Rafay or his posts against kevin were fluff (he never voted against him).

OK before I start, I must say that before the night's kill was posted I was about 70% sure the 2nd scum is Montosh. He posted that neither here neither there post right before the deadline and only took a stand when I asked him to vote. I was thinking, if he voted Kazio and kazio turned up townie he will look pretty scummy, so he made a calculated move to get his scum partner killed so he could look townie. Anyway thanks scum! you killed him and made this day easier. OK. so today, we have the following left alive: d3mon, Imran, Kazio, KevinH and EM I think we can apply a process of elimination and identify the scum. d3mon - first on the Rafay lynch wagon. If he was scum he could have easily jumped on the Kazio wagon or started a wagon on me. He didnt and instead went for Rafay. scum will have no motivation to do so. d3mon - confirmed town me- I could have easily stuck to my kazio vote and got him lynched instead of Rafay. I had support from kevin and EM and montosh might have probably joined me as well. If i was scum i would have no motivation to switch my vote to Rafay and get him lynched. Me - confirmed town. kazio - this is a bit tricky. he was getting lynched if I didnt switch my vote and montosh didnt vote for Rafay. He had his vote on me instead of on Rafay and only switched when it became obvious he will get lynched if Rafay was not getting lynched. If he is scum, he might have calculated that as both scum were under the spotlight, it is better for him to survive instead of Rafay. However, I find that unlikely for the moment. so. Kazio - Most probably town so it comes down to kevin and EM. the remaining two on the Kazio wagon. To see what Mr. Scum, Rafay, thought of out 2 suspects, lets scrutinize some of his posts: We see numerous posts from Scum Rafay against Kevin. The last post also seems to indicate that he was trying to imply that robert was night-killed because kevin was against robert and had voted for him (this may be the reason they killed robert -> he wanted kevin to look scummy based on robert's death for some reason). That makes me think kevin is one of the chosen and Rafay is trying his hardest to get him lynched. Who else was trying to get kevn lynched? well EM of course. So it seems like a clear-cut case of EM being the second scum. However, there are also posts like the following from EM: That was posted in reply to Rafay. He knows Rafay is lying if he is his scum partner. Why is he putting a spotlight on his partners amateurish post? He has also at times commented on Rafay being a lurker and not contributing much. But then EM is a very experienced player and knows that if he is not pointing out flaws in Rafay's game style, he himself will look suspicious. So he is covering his bases, in case Rafay gets exposed as scum. Unfortunately for him, Rafay's lynch, being switched from an almost sure lynch of Kazio put him into a very bad position and comments like those against Rafay is not enough to acquit him. So in summary, it comes down to kevin or EM. Rafay's posts indicate he was strongly against kevin which gives kevin townie points. Vote: Electric Mango

Thats a strange thing to say when Kazio would have been lynched and Rafay would have been alive if I hadn't switched my vote from Kazio to Rafay.

Well I am not going to quote all those walls of texts to answer all your statements but it seems the summary of your accusations is: 1. I was not actively posting on Day 1 2. I voted Lyner without any scum hunting 3. i didnt comment on the EM-Kvin bandwagon that fluff posting thing is nonsense as I had already pointed out in my last response. my first 2 ones may have been fluff but all my posts after that were not. there were other ppl posting more fluff than me. you can say robert was a lot more active but most of his posts were fluffs. 1. i never post that much on Day 1. because its mostly fluff and ppl throwing around accusations based on gut feeelings and what not. game really get interesting from day 2 when there is actually something to analyze. thats why i dont really care who gets lynched on day 1 with preference being an inactive player. so you will see me posting a lot less because i am not that interested on who is posting what logic for voting someone because its mainly all fluff. this is also why i am staunch supporter of day 1 lynches as opposed to No Lynch as otherwise day 2 becomes pretty much the same as day 1. 2, yes now you may say, why i didnt vote to lynch Rafay if i preferred someone to get lynched who is inactive/mostly posts fluffs. because i lynched rafay on day 1 last game too (iirc) and i wanted to give him a chance to see if he becomes more helpful in this game before lynching him. 3. i didnt prefer either kevin or EM getting lynched on Day 1 because ppl were basing their votes on fluffs and we shouldnt be lynching 2 experienced players on day 1 based on fluffs. however, since its day 1 and noone knows anything i wasnt going to do anything to defend them either. my choice of lynch was lyner and i stuck to it and let the majority decide who they want to lynch. Now, You spent a lot of time to analyze my posts and even looked at past games to build a case against me. You are completely wrong of course, but you get townie points from me for doing so much research and actually being active and scum hunting. I think this now may have turned into two townies going up against each other while the scums sit back and enjoy the show. i am still not convinced about your townliness but i am willing to see how another day goes by first. for this day we should lynch the lurkers and ppl mosting fluffs. oh yeah forgot another point. But this is completely false. I was on a wagon to lynch a townie. if i was scum and i knew lyner is townie and i was following your stated strategy seems to me like i would have hopped off the wagon to look more townie. he already had the majority votes and would have been lynched anyway with my vote or not.

My rebuttal in yellow. Explain why I'm scummy. Also, just think that if I am scum, why would I say I'm okay with lynching Lyner when he will turn up as town and knowing the meta, people will eventually use this excuse to lynch a player on D2. You were very eager to lynch Kevin. Its alsmost as if you want to lynch someone who cant be killed at night. hhhmm. you never switched your vote to Lyner because maybe you were still hoping kevin may be lynched. of course lynching a chosen is your first priority but a normal townie lynch will be fine too. of course I am not convinced yet that kevin is a chosen, but if you turn up scum i am pretty sure he is one of the chosen. Also if you find that Rafay has refused to post anything substantial, isn't that worthy of a vote? Why did you leave your vote on Lyner and not switch it to Rafay? Because Rafay hardly ever posts anything that is not fluff. I have played with him before and it has been the same case in every game. Its almost impossible to say he is scum because he is always posting fluff. He got lynched for the same reason last game and turned up townie. Also you stated that all votes on D1 are "random" anyway, why use votes as a reason for suspecting someone? I didnt find anyones posting that suspicious on Day 1 to switch my vote from Lyner to him. #160 - Also I don't buy your reason for suspecting both d3mon and I. So was there an actual game where scum planned and said to one another to be the 2nd vote in a wagon? Also, why did you find the 2nd vote in a wagon suspicious but not say, the third one. Also why not a combination of the 2nd vote in the first wagon and the 3rd vote in the second wagon and vice versa. This looks arbitrary and it seems that you're just finding a reason to pair the two of us. If you suspected solely on this without taking into account the motivation for our vote (for example I voted KevinH to finish RVS and move the game forward), I would say this is a bit forced. Vote: Imran Ehsan Because scum is likely to wait and see on whom the townies are turning on before placing a vote. So unlikely they will cast the first vote. They are unlikely to hammer as well. So 2-3 vote or staying neutral or staying off the wagon altogether is where the scum is at. 3 would look like they are starting a wagon, 2 is a much safer place. I am not saying everyone who voted 2nd is scummy..it just happened that two of the people I suspected most were on #2 in the wagon. I am also not saying both of you are scum..that both of you are scummy. Slight difference. One of the two of you are scum and you are looking more scummy to me than d3mon. --- Okay I have a crazy idea right now. Maybe KevinH is townie after all and scum is taking advantage of KevinH's most likely wrong assumption that people who voted between EM and especially him is scum. Lyner is dead and Robert2424 was killed so it's logical that I and d3mon will be suspected (though I'm not saying d3mon is also townie). --- That doesnt explain why they will kill robert if they wanted to follow this strategy. he was more likely to get lynched than d3mon. My second suspect is probably Rafay just to let everyone know.

lol i dont have much time now so i will properly read and respond to Kazios post later. but i expected a vote on me from kazio. i vote for kazio and suddenly out of the blue i become the prime scum suspect for kazio with him pulling out references from here and there...LOL...if thats not a scummy move i dont know what is. He is not trying to find the actual scum, he is trying to get the guy who suspects him lynched.

d3mon and kazio are two of my top scum suspects. d3mon has responded but no news from kazio. time to put the heat on. Vote: kaziocre

It is more likely that d3mon and kazio are the scum team. I went back and looked the sequencing of votes on you kevin (put up by kevin a couple of pages ago) and interestingly both d3mon and kazio were the 2nd votes. they could have been splitting their votes in those 2 wagons as well, and kazio never unvoted and d3mon unvoted very late. in the lyner lynch, they split votes again with d3mon being on the wagon and kazio staying off it.

This is a good point. Its very interesting why robert was chosen. He was second on the lynch Lyner wagon and was voting pretty suspiciously, so much so that he was on my radar as a possible scum. It doesnt make sense why a potential mis-lynch for the townies was night killed. One reason maybe that they he was very active on Day 1 so they got rid of an active townie. However, pretty much everyone was active so I dont think this is the reason. Second reason that I can think of is probably because they thought he was the power role. Scum already know who the 2 chosen are, they know each other so they know 1 out of 4 players is the power role and something that robert may have posted on Day 1 probably made them think he the was PR. Just a correction there, I didn't hammer Lyner.. Rafay did. Also, I voted for him because I found his moving votes from one L-1 to another very suspicious. Hindsight is 6/6 but on day 1, it was the best reason I had. Yeah..for some reason I was thinking it was you, who hammered. You still rank pretty high on my potential scum list though.

OK. After going through Day 1 again, I see two possible groupings of scum: Kevin + d3mon or EM + Kazio kevin and d3mon pushed for an EM lynch early with d3mon unvoting only when it was clear that the bandwagon has died off. He also hammered Lyner. d3mon looking pretty scummy there. In the other group we have both EM and Kazio pushing for a Kevin lynch with Kazio being fine with a Lyner lynch as well. kazio looking scummy. So one group or the other are scum. there is a possibility that Rafay/Mon-tosh are scum as well but Rafay has refused to post anything substantial to judge on and Mon-tosh got townie points when he unvoted kevin at L-1. unless kevin+mon-tosh is the scum team...hhmmm...
