  1. Hmm, let see shall we: 1) This entire day has been interesting from multiple standpoints. First there is the fact that nobody died last night. Second is the fact that Ali first claimed that he was visited by Cupid, which results in the third point; Ali changes his story to misreading the cupid part and being a lover instead. Almost everybody has had a contribution in the discussion concerning these 3 points, only for inactives to stir the discussion to a potential mod kill of you specifically 2) The moment it's clear that you are in danger of getting mod killed, you vote for Samus for, and I quote 'He's not adding anything to the discussion'. It's funny that that is your first post after realizing that you could be killed of by the mod if you don't actually play this game, since I can't see you adding anything more to the discussion than the person you voted for 3) You say that I have no good reason to vote for you, but lurking, pointing fingers to other people when you actually do post, whilst having no actual argument to back those accusations and thus acting scummy all together apparently aren't valid reasons to vote for someone. I suggest you actually start playing this game before you start pointing fingers and start creating strange conspiracy theories to eliminate Rafay, the all-knowing, scum hunting and town leading mafia player. Unless you have some actual argument backing your voting, I'm standing by my vote, so I'm happy to see your actual contribution to this discussion any time soon. At least it's better late than never.
  2. Talk about kettles and pots, ffs Vote Rafay Your first post this entire day, discussion has been going a certain way, only for inactives (and you were one of them, moreover you were the actual person in danger of getting mod killed) to stir the discussion this way. Talks about Samus being scummy, yet your first post this entire day is immediately on him with no more contribution to this discussion than the person you're trying to call out. I'm voting for the sheer hypocrisy alone
  3. What happens when all 3 don't reach the required post amount? Does the person with the least posts get killed or all 3?
  4. But that's only true if nobody has visited him yet. If someone did visit him, he just purposely threw at least another person in harms way. Also you completely overlook the fact that he switched stories in that scenario, which you can't in my opinion. You can sugarcoat the story all you want, but at the end of the day Ali made a stupid play. The question is whether it was well-intended or ill-intended.
  5. No because the consequences would be the same, I don't see in what world there being a cupid or a nympho would make a difference in consequences where it would be that Ali made the right move. In both of the scenarios he made the worst possible choice and yet you're defending him now, whilst a few posts ago you said this: You've been on the fence for the first part of this day. The moment I call you out you finally start to contribute in the discussion, only to flipflop 15 posts later from saying Ali is more likely making stuff up to saying that in different scenarios he could have made the right move, even though both scenarios play out exactly the same. So what is it?
  6. Because nobody called his ass out for sitting on the fence for that long. Regarding Ali, now that he mentioned that he misread what actually happened. It still doesn't really add up to me. Whether he was visited by Cupid or has become a lover via another way, it's unwise to immediately throw that out, because not only did he just put himself in harms way, but someone else too, especially if he became a lover with someone else, not just the first lover who can 'contaminate' someone. I'm leaning a lot more towards Ali bs'ing us, not just because he suddenly changed up his story, but meanly because the consequences don't really differ in either scenario. In fact I believe he made things worse if he did tell us the truth.
  7. Vote: Lord MK I've now see you post multiple times, yet the most pressing issue at hand you just quite spectacularly manage to dodge every single time. You make it look like you're active, while simultaneously not participating with the discussion. That's some bs fluffing if I've ever seen it, so I'm voting for you until you've made an actual contribution to issue at hand, because as of right now you're just dancing around it
  8. This doesn't make sense though, unless he deliberately announced it so that townie PR's keep dedicating their power to Ali so they keep alive 2 townies at once. That is way too risky of a claim to make this early Tho. The negatives of doing that dwarf the positives. Announcing to everyone that if u die, multiple townies die with you is screaming hey scum come kill me. Sure now if there are TP roles they might get on ABT, but there could have been a much more subtle and tactful way to do so that wouldn't paint such a huge target on your back for scum. Maybe it was just a dumb mistake but it's hard to see it like that. True, which is why I'm jumped on Ali in the first place, because it's a scummy thing to do. This was only a comment on Lachiton's earlier comment on a possible justification of Ali throwing this out. I agree with you that even if Ali had to put this information out, he should have never done it so early on in the game
  9. This doesn't make sense though, unless he deliberately announced it so that townie PR's keep dedicating their power to Ali so they keep alive 2 townies at once.
  10. Doesn't that just paint a huge target on your back now Ali? Killing you would mean that your death would drag someone else to their death as well if you were targeted by a Cupid, or am I misreading what lovers do? If not, I don't understand why you would relay that information so soon and why you would ask those questions here in public when TW would probably answer them in private as well.
  11. Seriously? What was his specification for that? As for the kill-less night, I'm happy to see that town has at least extended their winning chance, but very curious to see what happened
  12. I have only played mafia here and in real life, albeit with different rules, but is it 'standard' to play mafia like this where D1, nobody knows anything. When I play it rl, it starts off with the PR's already having used there power once, so they kind of have a head start which means D1 is actually a day where thing can actually happen. Every single D1 I've played mafia here has been posts and posts about absolutely nothing and end up either 1) no lynch or 2) lynch the inactive (which will ultimately always favor mafia). Can I suggest that in future games we just start with N0 where PR's can actually use their powers, actually and effectively use D1 instead of all the mandatory, yet useless fluff we have now. I do however play like the most basic form of mafia in rl, which may suit that kind of game set up more, I'm just throwing it out there.
  13. I'll be honest, I've been a very avid fan of the franchise for a long time, even playing competitive for a good while until gen 5, but everything after that is just a blur for me
  14. It's been 1 fucking day. I've seen people never even show up
  15. Vote: no lynch We've established that everybody is active for the time being, unless someone really drops off the face of the earth, I'm not changing this anytime soon
  16. Good to see everybody is active, let's hope it stays that way. This could potentially be a very productive game if it does
  17. Let's hope that town doesn't get screwed over by the activity rule this game
  18. That moment when you're still waiting for the Doctor to save you, only to realize in the end that you were basically it. I was confident that there was still a Doctor in play, but waited for more information on the table to truly role claim. Unfortunately Ali forced my hand, but not before I could do all the damage i could. Gg to Samus for Vig killing 2 Werewolves
  19. lol nice, I'm in
  20. As long as there are 2 werewolves, I agree with Ali that it would be stupid for me to announce who I'm going to target at night. Also I'm pretty sure that if there is not a Doctor in this game, I'm not going to make the next day
  21. I would like to point out though that this is all assuming that Samus is actually a Vig, or even actually town. I'm still not entirely convinced he's town and him begging Ali to reload him could just as easy be a X-shot Werewolf asking to be reloaded as well
  22. I just noticed that there are still 5 days left till deadline and I honestly don't see this discussion going anywhere other than town and 'townies' following Ali's strategy, which I could care less about, but since I feel that my power would be more productively used, I'll come forth. Town already had a suspicion that there was a role blocker in play, which is only half true. I'm Lieutenant Kaydel Ko Connix, a Town Jailkeeper. I've used my ability every night and these were my targets: N1: Kitkat N2: Rhizo N3: Samus N4: Rhizo Note: I do not get a result from Kevin, so there is no way of determining whether or what I blocked from either side. N1 I just fished, seeing how Kitkat was acting kind of fishy D1 (which he has been doing the entire game). Seeing as there were 3 kills nevertheless, it's safe to say that Kitkat didn't kill anybody, but it doesn't rule him out from a scum perspective. N2 I targeted Rhizo as I saw that he called some inactive people out, so I guessed he'd be a viable target to be killed (this was also before it was really confirmed that there were multiple anti-town factions). D3 there were still 3 deaths, but Samus said he Vig-killed MK which could be possible if I blocked the mafia kill that night, but Rhizo already dismissed that theory (which is why I brought it up in the first place, seeing as I knew I blocked Rhizo that night whilst protecting him). N3 is the most tricky one to figure out. I targeted Samus because he came out as the Nurse, so I decided it would be best to keep him protect him. My reasoning would be if he was telling the truth, anti-town factions would probably want him dead, even though he's just a Nurse, he's a protective role nonetheless. If he was lying and he was scum, I would block him anyway and maybe block a kill. Lo and behold that night nobody died. We already know that the mafia kill bounced off of Rafay, but that leaves us with 2 other kills. It leaves us with couple of scenarios: 1) both Rafay and werewolves targeted Samus and I successfully blocked 2 kills at once, 2) l only blocked the kill from one source and the other kill was either on Rafay again or something else prevented it in another way, 3) Samus is a werewolf and I blocked a kill that way. It's food for thought, but it at least dismisses again the claim that Samus would be a Werewolf PGO as I've visited him before, however it doesn't completely rule him out as a werewolf just quite yet. N4 was a no-brainer, stopping the mafia's kill means at least 1 person more to survive the night and most likely more time for town to figure out the werewolves. So Ali are you still on board for your plan, or do you really want me to just block the supposed vig, or even you from reloading? I know for a fact that werewolves are coming for me after this, so I really hope that there is a doctor in the room. Also just going back to Ali's comment about TW and Jazzy having equal chance of being werewolf, reading back I kind of agree with the sentiment, however I do feel more that a SK is so much more niche and anti-everything that it would make more sense for an anti-town faction to have the FBI agent, as it also serves as a kind of cover townie role. The same could said for the Town/Werewolf Cop, but I personally think that it would make more sense seeing for the cop to be pro town as there has been also been a Town Seer, town kind of needs all those investigate roles to stand a chance against the onslaught.
  23. I will start of by saying that I agree with most of the sentiments that are lingering this day. Yes Rhizo is a dead man walking, defending him would be absolutely stupid as he himself has already given up. No i do not believe that every person that hasn't role claimed should be seen as 'unhelpful', whatever that may entail. I personally believe that not everybody that has role claimed so far is telling the truth. Regarding Roberts death I think that that's Werewolves playing safe. They want to keep everybody that town even slightly considers not town alive so they are potential lynches and they also had to consider Rhizo's and town protective role's potential target, so they don't waste a kill. Killing Robert in that scenario would probably be optimal, as Rhizo was not probably not going to target him, nor would a town protective role as Robert's power wasn't extremely powerful. Regarding the Samus discussion, I honestly am not completely buying the fact that he is a Vig and managed to kill MK in a lucky attempt during N2. As of right now these are my thoughts regarding everybody still in this game The Warrior: I've seen some people doubt the fact that he's a town cop. I personally think that he's probably not a werewolf cop trying to play it off like a townie. Given the game design and the multiple factions, it's highly possible that a town cop exists and since nobody has counterclaimed this, I'm inclined to believe that TW is cop and also town Lachiton: I have absolutely no read on this guy, he's been inactive for the most part, barely participating in discussions which makes it hard to get a read on him. Could be town, could absolutely be werewolf as well Canik: claims to be a Miller, has been checked by Jazzy and came up guilty I think if I remember that correctly. I can't remember if TW already checked him or not, but if he did come up as guilty on his investigation as well, it's probably true that Canik is the Miller and therefore town Brewers: I went hard on his ass for not fully role claiming and I still feel that I'm in the right on that one. The fact that Rafay tried to role claim Yoda, while Ali was Yoda is only a testament to this. However since Rafay already came up as the SK, it's likely that Brewers is what he claimed he is, which means he's most likely town Jazzy: roleclaimed to be FBI agent and found out that Rafay was the SK. However given the list of possible roles and the fact that werewolves have access to FBI agents too, it makes you wonder whether Jazzy is a townie or a werewolf. I'm still 50/50 on this one. LordSunday: same as with Lachiton, absolutely no read on him Rhizo: mafia, done deal Samus: claimed to be nurse first, then claimed to be 1-shot Vig and asked to be reloaded by Ali, claimed to have used his first and only shot on MK during N2. What I don't understand is why there were only 3 kills during N2 if this is true. If someone can enlighten me on what exactly happened during that situation, I'm more inclined to believe Samus' story, but for the moment things don't really add up entirely in that situation Ali: claimed Reloader, confirmed by Robert, 100% town Kitkat: has been active, but very on the fence in my eyes, hardly ever really participating in discussions, just pinches his thoughts right in when he needs to, hard to get a clear read on him, but suspicious nevertheless SM: same as with Lachiton and LS I may have missed some things here or there, which you all are welcome to add for me, but for the moment this is what I got
  24. I've been extremely busy these couple of days, but I have been able to keep up with the game, so I just need some time to post my complete thoughts, which I will post tomorrow if i have the time.
  25. @@KevinH Can we get the entire werewolf faction to get disqualified if another dead member of their faction talks again here? From a game design point of view, I feel that TW's claim is very plausible that there are so many cops (I don't remember who made the argument that there were too many cops and that there was a possibility that TW was a scum cop of some sort), given the fact that all cops have limited powers due to multiple factions existing. Since nobody has tried to counterclaim TW's claim, I'm pretty inclined to believe that TW is indeed town. The more pressing question at this moment however is whether Samus is 1) actually a Vig and 2) actually part of town. I completely understand the idea of him claiming an unimportant role to cover his ass because he's afraid of being killed at night. However it is absolutely deserved that people second guess his words and intentions the moment he reveals his 'actual' role, I don't know whether Samus actually thought that town would immediately believe his second claim, but it should have crossed his mind that there is a possibility that town doesn't react well to people lying, whatever the reasons. That being said reacting to Rhizo's post above: he doesn't have an action for N2 if I read that correctly. Is that because he's leaving information out, is it because he only has powers on odd nights (which I find unlikely but it's a possibility) or is it possible that Rhizo was blocked on that night for some reason? If the 3rd option is true, and Rhizo was picked by the mafia team to make the kill, it lines up with Samus' story that he killed MK during N2, resulting in 3 kills (1 werewolf kill, 1 SK kill and 1 Vig kill, mafia kill gets blocked). I don't know whether Rhizo wants to provide us that information, or at least clarify his post, but it's something that has caught my eye and could potentially clear Samus as town as Rhizo is the last remanning mafia member, so he's probably not covering for Samus
