Poor with family. I've already done it once... Would you rather lose your sense of smell and taste or the ability to reproduce?
  2. I would say on my cruise in September. I won a whole bunch of medals at sports trivia. Then I ended up winning this Under Armor EA sports bag and a $75 EA Sports game certificate for racking up the most points over 5 days at said trivia. Since I don't have a gaming system at home, I gave the game to someone I made friends with on the boat. *shrug* Those guys helped make my cruise more fun and I was NEVER going to use that game coupon so it was no big deal. When was the last time you lied to someone?
  3. That's a lot of posts so maybe a 5? Hard to say as an "outsider."

I think my most common lies are: 1. You're welcome - To be honest, they are SELDOM "welcome." 2. Don't worry about it - What I really want to say is "just let me do it so you don't screw it up." 3. I'm good - Covered above. Sometimes I'm tired. Sometimes I'm stressed. Sometimes I'm sad. It's just life. 4. I'm almost finished - Sometimes that means "oh crap! I better get started on that!" and sometimes that means "just hold your horses, I have higher priorities right now."

According to research, the average person lies 3-5 times PER DAY. I've always considered myself an honest person and thought for sure that couldn't be right. So I've been paying close attention and it's AMAZING how easy it is to lie without even thinking about it. This morning I greeted someone in the hall and they asked "How are you, Yates?" "Good," I replied. Good? Really? I'm tired because I didn't get a lot of sleep last night. I'm a little sore from shoveling the driveway in the dark last night after working all day. Oh, and when I took off my coat when I walked in the house and went to take my phone off my hip? It was missing. The only thing there was a broken iPhone holder. I looked everywhere and tried calling my phone. It's gone. And I said I was "good." I'm such a liar. Oh, and I was listening to an interview with Alex Smith [QB for the KC Chiefs American Football Team] on ESPN radio this morning. They asked him about the 3 game losing streak his team had earlier in the season. He claimed it was a "good experience" and that it was something that "helped the team." And he kept repeating it in such a way that it was an OBVIOUS lie. I actually lost track of how many times he lied in that interview. All "harmless" lies but certainly not honest responses. According to some other research, these are the most common lies by gender: Top ten lies men tell: 1. Nothing's wrong, I'm fine 2. This will be my last pint 3. No, your bum doesn't look big in that 4. I had no signal 5. My battery died 6. Sorry, I missed your call 7. I didn't have that much to drink 8. I'm on my way 9. It wasn't that expensive 10. I'm stuck in traffic Top ten lies women tell: 1. Nothing's wrong, I'm fine 2. Oh, this isn't new, I've had it ages 3. It wasn't that expensive 4. It was in the sale 5. I'm on my way 6. I don't know where it is, I haven't touched it 7. I didn't have that much to drink 8. I've got a headache 9. No, I didn't throw it away 10. Sorry, I missed your call So that got me thinking: how often do YOU lie and what do YOU lie about the most?

  7. Nope. Go check your inbox and compare it to his current post. can't. i only receive emails from personal conversations. Well, I can't disprove this. My email provider hates this website and I don't get anything from here. I didn't even get my activation email now that I think about it. Glad Helix saw it, though.
  8. Nope. Go check your inbox and compare it to his current post.
  9. Notice he edited it back then added "Although it's not really a 'role'?" WTF is that supposed to mean, anyway? BUS-TED. iSoc today. Dan tomorrow. Our future's so bright? I've gotta stay wrapped in paper. And stuff.
  10. Also, I do hope scum keep stalling in the hopes they will get a no lynch on iSoc. I find more scum with each passing page.
  11. Actually, killgore subscribed to this thread. I'm sure he would be willing to post the preedit version of Dan's post if needed.
  12. Meh. Another one of my Yates lie traps. I have to assume that's why iSoc thought it would be okay to fake claim an x-shot ability. And Dan, I saw your post before you edited it. It also got pmed to subscribers of this thread. You said YOU had an x-shot active ability. Who talked you out of that? Caught scum #2.
  13. He claimed scum. That's pretty much all that matters. Take a look at your role PM. 1. Who invited you to this party? 2. Was that person Town? 3. Was that person a vampire? 4. WHY would that person invite a VAMPIRE HUNTER to his party? Still confused? Or just trying to give your scum buddy some time to try to dig himself out of this massive foul up?
  14. One more question - purely for entertainment... @iSoc - If you are a 1-Shot Cop, why didn't you use your power last night to help with the suspect pool today? Did you just assume you would live until end game? Your one and only job with a 1X ability is to USE IT. And no one is going to believe an "investigation result" that turned up Town at this point. So don't even try it...
  15. @Robert - It's time to get on board the iSoc wagon or tell me how he's Town. @Montosh - It's time to get on board the iSoc wagon or tell me how he's Town. @Theo - It's time to get on board the iSoc wagon or tell me how he's Town. @Imran - It's time to get on board the iSoc wagon or tell me how he's Town. @Dan - It's time to get on board the iSoc wagon or tell me how he's Town.
  16. In addition to the spelling error our mod wouldn't have made, x-shot? Really? My protection is x-shot by necesity. But that's a passive role. My ACTIVE role is not x-shot. I'll drop this point if anyone else has an x-shot ACTIVE ability. Theo? EM? No? That's what I thought.
  17. Why would you be HUNTING VAMPIRES??!! You realize Count Dracula *IS* a vampire, right? Epic Fail. LOL. Can we vote for this clown now that he has claimed scum?
  18. Ok. Let me do the thinking for you. Why everyone should just go ahead and vote iSoc by Yates We know that either iSoc or Robert is scum. We know that we are down 2 Town. We know there is an SK. We know there is a Doc Claim. We know there is a tracker. 1. If we lynch iSoc and iSoc is scum? Huzzah! We lynched scum. SK has to target Doc tonight. Why? Because the Doc is either scum [and needs to be killed anyway] OR the Doc can block a kill. And the SK can't afford to have blocked kills. Scum has to target TOWN Doc tonight? Why? Because the Doc can block a kill. Specifically, the Doc can block a kill on the person they REALLY want dead, the tracker. In the grand scheme of things, a track tonight isn't LIKELY going to be the worst thing in the world for them. Even if I catch them in the act they can always claim to be the SK/Vig or something innocuous and try to live an extra day. OR If Theo is scum, Scum have to target Helix. Why? Because Helix is mod confirmed Town. Scum would have to choose between killing a mod confirmed Town or testing my BP claim and STILL allowing a mod confirmed Town to live another day - thus making their hiding pool almost too shallow. 2. If we lynch iSoc and iSoc flips Town? Well that sucks but now we know Robert is scum. SK *HAS* to kill Robert tonight. Why? If he doesn't kill scum tonight, he will lose. So really, the scum play is set in stone. The only variable is what the SK is going to try to do based on iSoc's flip. Vote iSoc. Let's do this.
  19. Pretty sure we decided on iSoc. If scum? Great. If not? SK needs to hit Robert tonight to prevent scum from winning. Seems like the best play.
  20. Anyone else still playing this game? Or has it been canceled due to lack of effort? Just need to know I'm not wasting my time checking in on this thread...
  21. Ha! Where do you live? On a volcanic island somewhere?
  22. Well, make a case or jump on the iSoc wagon. We need to have this resolved today because we are about out of time.
  23. Helix - why aren't you leading?
