As did I. Thanks for sharing, ihateaaron.

Some cops are assholes and some cops are nice, just like everyone else in every nook and cranny of society. However, they have a mandate to enforce the law so for your own safety be polite and do what they say whether you agree with it or not. If you have been detained/arrested unlawfully find the proper channels to address the problem...lodge a complaint, write to your government representative, community leaders, your lawyers, or whatever. At the end of the day you want to go home to your family (so do the police officers), not be on the receiving end of gunshot or dogpile.

I'll be getting an PS4 in February (after I finish all my pending PS3 games) and this game is on top of my list. Be prepared for putting 80+ hours into this one. I heard it's huge.

The PC community is crying foul because apparently the controls are terrible for the PC. Are you a fan of their previous titles, Origins and DA2? You playing it on a console?

Happy Birthday guys!

Too a point yeah, but they have them selves to blame. They haven't played as they should to go through (in any of the three games). Agreed, though I think they did play with class against England. Suarez needs a muzzle.

That makes 2 of us.

I wouldn't put any money on Italy...and I'm Italian. The way they've been dismissing England as an inferior opponent in recent days (I'm looking at you Balotelli) has irritated me beyond belief. They are in for a nasty surprise come the opening game. I think Germany, Argentina, and Uruguay are stand outs, along with the Spanish (you can't deny their pedigree). Belgium, England and Holland as potential surprise packages. Brazil don't look that strong to me and will crumble under the pressure of playing on home soil.

I started with general science in my first year, leaning towards Biology, and took the Microbiology and Molecular Biology path as a specialisation into my 2nd/3rd year. Then I realised that the passion required to take this path into Masters and towards a PhD was something I just didn't have. At the same time matters back at home and with the family business (I studied abroad) needed my help, so I decided to pack up and cut my losses and return home. That was more than 10 years ago! I've made a good living but now I'm having a bit of a quarter life crisis and considering taking a shot at everything again whilst I'm still relatively young and able bodied As for your second question...that's the tricky part. I have a few ideas but nothing concrete. Not Science again, is all I really know at the moment.

That seems to be the trend, unless what you study is very specific (Doctor, Engineer) and even then a lot of people end up in different industries!

How are you going to do that? How will you fund schooling AND keep the bills paid? I've been thinking of that too, but then the mortgage bill comes in :s With great difficulty I suspect. Thankfully I'm not burdened with any debt at the moment so there is wiggle room if I play my cards right. It's quite scary to be honest!

Seems that we are in similar situations, Cadana. What did you want to become when you were a kid? Football (soccer) player What did you want to become when you were 16-17 yo Scientist What did you end up learning for/studying Science, but I quickly became disillusioned and never finished. What is your current age, and what did you become? 34, and I'm an operator in the hospitality industry (family business) Thinking of going back to school and doing a 'take 2'.
