Controversial POTD 9/26/15
There should just be a full moratorium on having children for about a decade. That should do a lot to fix our environmental problems...

Poll of the Day: Vacation? - (7/24/15)
No brainer this one... hiking (allthough Paris might be a good second) I'd attach an image from my hike along Hadrians' Wall I did this year, if I could be bothered to figure out how... (too busy right now getting my websites back online after a server switch)

Requesting feedback
The intention is that there will be more subsites, all in either the local language (using "standard alphabet") or English. So you should have something you can read at some point.

Requesting feedback
Please have a look at the website linked to below, and let me know what you think. Concept: local news in a global platform Language: local language for every branche Target audience: the whole population of a local region (so all age groups and demographics, regionally determined) The site is still being tweaked. I intend to provide information on how people can claim their own local branche on the FrontPage, this would be advertised in the area now described as "content middle right" Link: http://www.locanews.in

Baltimore - Justified protesting VS Looting.
Actually, I can imagine quite a few scenarios where looting is very well justified...

For those who love writing and reporting
Do you like writing, and do you secretly dream of being Superman...? Spending the night doing unpleasant things like getting bad guys, but living the dream by day: to be a reporter? Would you be interested to become a city blogger where your city blog would be part of a larger blog? You would write about stuff in your city. News, events, parties, etc. In your own language, for your own public. You would advertise your sub-blog and run it yourself, you can even hire/fire other city bloggers. In return, there will be some sort of revenue sharing system where you can sell advertising space. x% would go to me, for running costs, and to fund improvements and advertising, y% would be yours. Obviously, this is not going to be a get rich quick scheme, but it is a fun way of getting experience in writing, maybe make a few bucks. And trust me, this does WONDERS for your local network. I am pretty well known in my town, just by writing, and it is opening doors at times. Of course, the final agreement would have some more clauses to ensure the cityblog doesn't die of inactivity (or illegal content and crap like that). This is a pretty easy-to-enter concept. I've worked in one before and it did quite alright (until the city council got their way in due to some -in my view- errors from the founders). Interested? Drop me a line. PS: I have an URL, but I am open for suggestions. Perhaps you can come up with something better

Poll of the Day: Which historical event? - (5/28/15)
The 10 plagues. I already saw Normandy (thanks to Steven Spielberg), as with Apollo (dunno who directed it). Hiroshima is not something I'd want to see as it would haunt me forever. The plagues now...that would be a thing. not only an era far away, but it would actually proof that there is indeed a God, and I'd become a Christian (or I'd stay an atheist).
