even so i think it is in our best interest to "lynch" one of them tonight. the question is which one and how exactly to go about it.

Well i didnt do it at first because I didnt want the mafia to attack me because last time i blew the whistle in the game like this I died straightaway, but if ya saw in my earlier posts i kept on saying keep your eyes on choas without directly saying it, plus at the time i thought we werent suppose to quote or say anything from our pms directly or something. Tis why I was confused but then martino cleared it up. Once again I apologize. But I can most assure you that I saw him and urged people to get him, as it seems one person listened to me since a mage attacked him.

except for the fact that mafia have essentially no way to kill you immediately. unless they all got in the same room with you and had some sort of super weapons or something i cant really think of a way for them to do 10 damage to you in a single night.

and even then we'd know they were with you in the room which would greatly narrow down who it is.

heh figures. well I suggest not to lynch me because you be wasting your time plus killing a friendly here. Clearly in the first night i posted only one action to watch people, choas never posted. at that time there was only three people in the room, now before the entire healing thing i saw that someone had hit per. aka EM and it was choas because he ran to stab per. as for the second night i watched choas because i wanted to make sure it was him the second time around and not an innocent bystander but someone hit choas which was a mage plus the report of EM saying he was stabbed once again. the second time i only saw the mage attack chaos and not him stabbing per. but then again there goes that chance thing that gets thrown into the mix. Either way I did nothing through the night cept watch people. So I have to say that you would seriously be wasting your time lynching me. Thats what the mafia would want.

what i was thinking was grouping together 5 or 6 people in a room with him and have them all attack him. whether that takes one night or two or whatever would depend on item usage i believe.

although that may be a bit high...we could go lower(like 3) but then it'd take longer.

I propose either:

1. Tthe two of us who were attacked and the two who healed us should be the ones to do the "lynching", with chaoshawk being the 5th person in the room. This way we could have a clear 4 vs 1 townie advantage without risking putting all of our eggs in one basket, as Martino warned us not to do. The only problem is that we may not be able to inflict all of the damage necessary to finish him off. I'm guessing without a weapon we will inflict 1 damage per person. It may take 2 nights to do it.

2. Alternatively we could keep everyone in the same rooms so that the mage could attack him again doing 3 damage and the rest of us could attack him as well, all but guaranteeing a night kill. We had a big group together last night and nothing bad happened so we would probably be safe again tonight.

It makes sense that we can keep the same people in the room, so as to not cause any more confusion of who is gonna get who if ya follow me here, because other scum could enter. It probably would be safer to stay together in the lobby and go after chaos tonight along with the mage, I was going to attack chaos whether anyone believed me or not. but thank you em for believing hopefully this would go right.

Well that works perfectly for the mafia. Now they get the opportunity to attack one of my assailants without worry of being watched at all. I'm not sure how to make you believe me nor do I know who attacked me last night but no one seems to care about that and be damned who did so. Mango you did a great job of narrowing it down but sadly you're charging for the wrong guy in this case. I hope this mistake does not cost you all much.

i dont think you need to worry about him not coming back. this is his third game with us i believe.

that my friend is known as the Gambler's Fallacy. the idea that since something has or hasn't happened several times in a row means it's due to not happen or happen.

so yeah the odds are the same as anyone getting a mafia role this game.

Hm, I see it's bandwagon time and all, but ...

Firstly as I'm a little late with my post on this day. I used the night to search the room in which I was located but due to lights out, came up short and found nothing.

Secondly ... Is it possible Chao found an item or had it from the start as a townie and made a random attempt on his first night? I mean I agree the preponderance of the evidence is against him, but he also makes a good point. We seem to be rushing here just a bit too much.
