Chaplain of Death:

It was nice how niether of answered my question on how you knew each other though. Obviously we know which way you will answer regardless of whether or not it's true, but it's funny how you avoid it all the same. (my question being how did you know about each other.)

It is funny how I avoided a question that was not addressed to me.  I guess I am just quirky like that.

Kazio, in your experience does the GM usually say in the role PM who the other masons are, or just give you a seperate thread to talk in and let you find out at night?

However, to put your paranoia at ease, the mod told me that I was a Mason along with LK and we may only talk at night.  We have not had the opportunity to speak with each other privately yet, but we are aware of each others identities.  This is the standard way that masons are played in all of the games that I have been involved in.

CoD, Mason is a one roleclaim which is difficult to pull off for scum as it essetially means that two scum have to make false roleclaims. Add to that the fact that this is a closed game and its very likely that town does have people with Mason role, so if they were to come forward, its likely that scum would loose two members which imho is not worth it for the scum.

I know that this will probably increase the chances of me being lynched as the Masons are going after me but absent anyone coming forward and roleclaiming Mason or cop (telling us that they are scum), imho its pretty safe to believe that EM and LK are towines.

EM, does your roleclaim indicate that the other person is a townie? KevinH had a scum neighbourizer in the last game, I am wondering if there might be a scum mason in this one.

MOD, can we get a re-listing of current lynch votes?

Vote count:

Chaplain of Death (2): Xarastier, Killgor

D3mon (2): Electric Mango, Lorikz Kain

Electric Mango (2): Rafay, Chaplain of Death

Lorikz Kain (1): Kaziocore

Noahband (1): Xx Karl xX

No-Lynch (2): Alternate_Tree, Imran Ehsan

Not voting (2): D3mon, Noahband

Deadline is tomorrow at Elevensies

With 12 alive, it takes 7 to lynch, or 4 at deadline.

Ok, after looking through everything, here's some of my thoughts:

I think it's hard to tell at this point if EM and LK are telling the truth. So for now i'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume what they're saying is true.

I don't understand why you guys are pushing for D3mon. From what i gather, this whole push towards him started with kaz saying that him voting no-lynch was a bad idea, and that's it. he really hasn't done anything that scummy.

Also, i don't know why everyone is clearing Xarastier as a for sure townie. one of his first posts is a role-claim with some story i can't even make sense of...it may be him adding RP, but it's confusing and really doesn't add anything... Also, haven't you guys noticed that as soon as he got cleared as town we haven't heard a thing from him? Little suspicious right there.

Then there's Rafay. I know his style of play is a little wacky, but this game... just come on, he really is being crazy in what he posts. Example: for some reason, he thinks that Electric and Kaz are out to get him and are pushing for a lynch on him when i don't think anyone has voted for him the entire game except for Kaz's first random vote. So maybe Rafay is playing some weird strategy or really does not understand what it happening around him. Either of those two choices are very counter-productive to the town and really just confuses everyone that reads his posts.

Also, most of you guys are clearing kaz of being scum just because he is talking a lot and leading the conversation. Sure that can be a townie actually scum hunting, or a scum trying to gain rep as town early when it's easier so he can take control later in the game and influence the next lynch easier.

I'm not necessarily accusing anyone that i just listed as being scum, i'm just saying possible guys we may need to look out for. However, i will vote to lynch the person i think to be the most harmful to the town at this point, and with the reasons stated above:

vote: Rafay

EM, does your roleclaim indicate that the other person is a townie? KevinH had a scum neighbourizer in the last game, I am wondering if there might be a scum mason in this one.

Kevin did not state that LK is town but it is something that is just assumed.

From wiki:

Masons are Town-aligned players who know that they are Town and can speak to each other privately. Whether the Masons' ability to privately communicate can be used at any time or at Night only is up to the moderator's discretion. The number of Masons can vary from game to game, and it is not impossible for there to exist separate Mason groups within the same game.

Also, I don't know for sure if d3mon is scum.  What I do know is that it is in the towns best interest to lynch on day 1.  We can debate this to great lengths but if you read the wiki on playing mafia, you will see that it is accepted as the best strategy.

I feel pretty confident that my list of townies are accurate.  That leaves 6 players left, 3 of which are scum, so we have a 50/50 chance.  D3mon is my best guess at the this time.

other masons are, or just give you a seperate thread to talk in and let

you find out at night?

The mod usually say who the other mason is.

Also if the mod says he is mason, most of the time his partner is town (unless the mod is a bastard)

Usually if the the mod wants to mix in scum with the masons, they are called Neigbors instead of Masons

Unvote

Chaplain of death, I don't why you would want to lynch either one of the claimed Mason.

It takes balls for scum to risk one of their members just to save another. Also they're risking

the fact that if there are town masons, then they are screwed.

I understand your argument, all I did was present another one. Also, if you look in the game discription, there are townie and scum versions of all roles, so theoretically they could be scum masons (which would only allow them to speak in private during the day since they can already talk at night). However you are correct that it is unlikely, thank you for bringing a valid point to my agruments.

Also Electric, my question was aimed at both of you, so dont give me that evasive BS. You've avoided all confrontation and I'm still unsure of you both. With only 9 townies, it wouldn't all that much of a stretch to think that having mason's in the game is unlikely as it requires 2 and is not all that powerful of a roll. I will unvote but I still dont trust either of you.

Also, I still dont agree with your assessment of d3mon, therefore....

Unvote Electric Mango

Vote Rafay

After EM and LK, Rafay was my next most likely to be scum.

Wow just becaus I'm suspicious of some1 cuz they were pushing for lynches, I'm accused of being a mafia scum. Neverthless to counter the argument that Kaz is not scum just cuz he posts much, I'll say that he's a veteran player of the game and know his way arond both flavors.

And now it seems that CoD might be involved in all this cuz of his massive walls of text and the fact that the mafia involved an envelopment strategy CoD was good cop whil Kaz and EM were making ppl suspicious of themselves and now the votes pile on me.

If my death proves my innocence so be it!!!

But if I die the game ends ( metaphorically.....no role claim )

After me try to lynch Kaz and EM though.

My vote stays.

"Far over the misty mountains cold
To dungeons deep and caverns old
We must away ere break of day
To seek the pale enchanted gold.

The dwarves of yore made mighty spells,
While hammers fell like ringing bells
In places deep, where dark things sleep,
In hollow halls beneath the fells.

For ancient king and elvish lord
There many a gleaming golden hoard
They shaped and wrought, and light they caught
To hide in gems on hilt of sword.

On silver necklaces they strung
The flowering stars, on crowns they hung
The dragon-fire, in twisted wire
They meshed the light of moon and sun.

Far over the misty mountains cold
To dungeons deep and caverns old
We must away, ere break of day,
To claim our long-forgotten gold.

Goblets they carved there for themselves
And harps of gold; where no man delves
There lay they long, and many a song
Was sung unheard by men or elves.

The pines were roaring on the height,
The wind was moaning in the night.
The fire was red, it flaming spread;
The trees like torches blazed with light.

The bells were ringing in the dale
And men looked up with faces pale;
The dragon's ire more fierce than fire
Laid low their towers and houses frail.

The mountain smoked beneath the moon;
The dwarves, they heard the tramp of doom.
They fled their hall to dying fall
Beneath his feet, beneath the moon.

Far over the misty mountains grim
To dungeons deep and caverns dim
We must away, ere break of day,
To win our harps and gold from him!"

The Company takes inventory of itself.

Killgor (Balin - even-night tracker, and member of the Company) was killed in the night.

It is now Day 2. Deadline is Friday, February 15, at 0600.

With 11 alive, it takes 6 to lynch, or 3 at deadline.

Strange that the scum wouldnt target one of the 2(3) role claimed townies from day 1.... It seems as though the scum would like to set me up for a lynch since the only thing killgor has done all game is try to lynch me..... Killing townies by setting them up to be lynched by who they are killing at night. All I can say is that there is at least one VERY experienced player on the scum side as there kill was more startegically thought out than what most newer players could manage.

My only evidence to support that I am not involved is that I would have to be mentally handicapped as a scum to kill killgor when that would lead right back to me in such an obvious way.

I hope one of our power roles turned something up last night, if you found anything of worth please let us know.

Townies:

 Electric Mango  - Mason

 Lorikz Kain - Mason

Chaplain of Death - There is no way someone rages like that and isn't town

 Xarastier - Watcher

Kaziocore - Playing hard nose and aggressive.  Pushing conversation, making stands, ACTUALLY saying meaningful things.

Killgor - He was pushing hard for Chaplains death and sticking to his guns.  Townie, count it.

 Updated

let me qualify my last statement, If you found something of remarkable worth, let us know, but do not role claim or give away what your role is as it makes you a target.

Yes.  The "remarkable worth" is that you and I are still alive as further evidence of your death worthiness as goblin-scum.  You and your reprobate scum brethren killed Killgor after your distracting vote for Electric Mango as a cover for your cowardly fear of him getting a bit to close in his reasoning.   Not being the "brightest bulb in the box" I'm not surprised that the company granted you only two (2) votes due to the nature of 1st day precautions that both you and Kaziocore surreptitiously prescribe.  Now all of your previous telling words can and should be used against you clothing you in merciless guilt.

So, no explanation as to where you disapeared to after your false role claim xarastier? I for one would like to know why the moment the conversation looked at you, you disapeared and lurked in the shadows till the day was done. So what did you discover last night Xarastier? You must have watched me after all? Go ahead and tell us, since we already know you are an odd night watcher and all. It does no harm for you to show your findings from the night phase since you've already role claimed.

I don't know whether you are scum, or just so incredibly small minded that you cant understand the game of mafia, but I've already said that I have little patience left for you. So please, why dont you come out of the closet and give us your grand reasoning for why I am the center of all evil in this game, why I must be scum. I'd love to hear you spin that story.

On to speaking with more reasonable people.

LK and EM, did your conversation last night discover anything? Any potential slip up made by scum during day 1 that we may have missed?

D3mon, why do you think that Kazio is scum?

Interesting move in hitting killgor instead of one of the role claimed townies. This does throw suspicion on CoD. This probably was why they went for him instead or EM, LK or Xarastier.

We should go for a lynch today. We can work off EM's list (minus me :P) but I would still like to hear more on why these guys were put on the suspect list:

Just cuz sum1 put ppl in a list doesn't mean they're suspects!!!

Yes I too wud like to know detailed reason for suspecting the suspects!!

The day has only begun and 2 votes hav been casted with cod alrdy leading the no. of posts.

Xarastier: Who did you target last night?

Xx Karl xX:

I don't understand why you guys are pushing for D3mon. From what i gather, this whole push towards him started with kaz saying that him voting no-lynch was a bad idea, and that's it. he really hasn't done anything that scummy.

Do you think the push on d3mon was town-motivated or scum-motivated?

One thing I'm going to say is that people should stop personal attacks because this is first and foremost a game.

Otherwise I'd like to know, as Kaz said, what Xarastier found out last night to get the ball rolling on narrowing down the list of scum.
