The Rules

 

Only the following roles may exist in this game: Vanilla Dwarf, Sane Cop, Doctor, Vigilante, Roleblocker, Mason, Innocent Dwarf, Jailkeeper, Tracker, Watcher, Gunsmith, Miller, Bodyguard, Role Cop, Doublevoter, Hider, Neighbor, Neighborizer, Jack of All Trades, Goblin Goon, Goblin Traitor, Goblin Godfather, Goblin Framer, Goblin-aligned versions of above roles.

The roles may contain any of the following modifiers: Even/Odd Night, Non-Consecutive Night, X-Shot, Bulletproof, Neighbor, Compulsive, Macho, Weak, Backup (with or without primary role present).

 

Sample role PM:

You are Bombur, a Vanilla Dwarf. Your power is in your vote. You win when the Company controls the game.

During the Day phase, each player may speak and vote inthread.

If a player receives the majority of the available votes during the Day, they are lynched.

At deadline, a player with half-majority will be lynched.

You may vote No Lynch.

After the Day, the game goes to Night.

The game thread is closed during the Night. The Goblins may speak to each other at Night. All Active Roles may submit actions via PM at Night.

The Goblins can, as a faction, kill one player at Night.

After the Night, the game goes to Day.

All dead players (lynched or killed) can no longer participate the game.

Basic rules for maintaining the integrity of the game thread are in effect (i.e. players may not quote their Role PMs, nor may they discuss the game outside the game thread unless otherwise permitted, etc.)

The game is comprised of Goblins (mafia) and the Company (town).

The game is won when only one faction remains in the game, or nothing can prevent the same.

 

Mass role-claiming is not allowed.

Game Days will last as many real-life days as there are players alive.

Game Nights will last 48 hours but will include at least one weekday..

So in other words you would like to plead the 5th? Sorry to say the 5th amendment doesnt exist in mafia, and your choosing not to speak will be used against you as a sign of guilt.

 

Its not a hard question Xarastier so either tell us that your role claim was a lie or tell us what you found please.

Its not passive. So who did you watch and why are you being evasive about it? By the way you just suggested that 3 of the most townie looking people in the game right be lynched.

Since you have already role-claimed, there is no point in hiding what your results were. If you get killed tonight, no one will get the info you gathered. So it is better for the town if you reveal your results instead of not doing so.

 

Whats your reason for suspecting EM? Did it have something to do with your investigations at night?

If you're the real watcher you should do a service to the town by telling what your result is

but if you're going to be stubborn, I have no choice but to think that you're part of the Goblins trying

to impede our mission to recover the tressure!

What's your case against Chaplain of death, Electric Mango and me?

Yes xara how can you prove that kaz and cod are scum other than their suspicious behaviours??

Xarastier, you obviously either false role claimed or are intentionally trying to hide something from the town. If it is the latter, then everyone has reason to believe that you are scum. If you false role claimed, just admit it! It was a stupid thing to do, but it's better then a townie (you) being lynched.

well, i don't think it was very townie for people to push so hard for d3mon when he really hadn't said anything scummy or acted suspicious. and I think there were definitely better candidates to lynch that seemed more scummy.

So you are saying you want to kill Cod and Kaz . I have no definitive ruling one way or another on these two, only my suspicions. However you then go further and say EM is the 3rd scum despite knowing that EM and Myself are connected with our roles, meaning if EM is scum I would most certainly be scum. You just stated you believe there are 4 scum in your last statement and managed to list the people most have largely agreed to most likely be townies. I suggest you try to defend this statement, its among the most suspicious I've seen all game. I would start by telling who/what you gathered on your watch last night, assuming it wasn't made up.

Well between the two of you, EM's push was definitely more suspicious. your vote was just in the beginning when no one knew anything, and EM decided to bandwagon on that and push hard on it for some reason. not to mention that EM added to the scummy-ness by making that list without an explanation. But at this point, i'm choosing to believe that him and LK are what they say they are. so really at this point, neither of you guys are at the top of my most suspicious list.

Well it seems that Xarastier is hiding from our questions. I know for a fact that he was online earlier as he posted in another section of the forum and was online for a good 5-10 minutes after that.

Xaraister if you would plz answer the questions so we may not lose a probably valuable role................

Alternate_Tree, it's day 2 now. Can you share us you reads? Who do you think is town, scum, and currently null

I wouldn't be so quick to jump on the Xar bandwagon.  Even though his posts are unorthodox I still believe his roleclaim.  If you remember, he claimed to be an odd night watcher and now we know that killgor was an even night watcher.  This adds even more validity to Xar's roleclaim,  putting his townieness almost at 100%.

 

I'm now almost quite certain that Rafay is scum.  He usually plays much more aggressively than he has this game and has not been as active as usual.  Most of his posts are middle of the road, bland, and neutral.  It's as if he knows he has to post something but doesn't want to say too much or say anything that could be considered scummy.

So I will start with this because I agree with most of it.  EM and LK are almost certainly on a team because no one has raised objections, whether they are town or scum playing at town is the question.  The more likely is town because it is a pretty risky move to say you're on a team as the scum and guarantee 2 deaths for the scum rather than one if they get found out.

 

Next is CoD and Xara, I'm not really sure what to think.  CoD raging could indicate he's a frustrated townie, or it could indicate he's frustrated as scum for having Xara on his team with his confusing methods.  Xara is very confusing, if he keeps sliding by his role claim even with all of us asking for his results, he may have blatantly lied as a scum, or made a transparent lie as a townie to lynch a non-power role?  Or maybe something involving getting killed?  I didn't check the list at the beginning because I am not as familiar with all of the roles and I'm writing this while playing Dota 2 and need to pay attention.

 

Next on the list is Kaz, not really sure.  Seems pro town because he is actually engaging and promoting discussion.  Nothing suspicious, so I'd say a townie.

 

Everyone else, including myself, seems to be waiting for something to happen and aren't giving up much info.  I don't have any reads other than people being careful

Playing agressively as a townie came to bite me. So I've changed my strategy....nothing to feared except for the scum but EM is innocent. Still on my suspicion list are Kaz and CoD. They are playing their butts off..........!!!
