Okay, I have some random Mafia thoughts and observations.
1. For reasons I don’t understand either TW or I almost always get investigated on N1.
2. Playing a town cop is incredibly stressful when you finally identify scum late in the game and they are persuasive at arguing.
3. If you make even the slightest mistake explaining anything you are at high risk for a lynch.
4. If you get confused and make a big mistake explaining anything you might as well start trying on nooses for the least itchy rope for your guaranteed lynching.
5. Dead people repeatedly posting are annoying AF (unless I personally benefit from their post - j/k).
6. It is really difficult to post an effective argument on a tablet, especially if you want to do a list or multi quote. My guess is it is impossible from a phone.
7. Being the person who is going to cast the deciding vote is almost, if not more stressful that item 2.
8. The Samus Factor, ie. lynching outstandingly good players early every time they play, is a good way of driving people away from playing mafia, thus it should be avoided.
9. It’s just a game! It is not worth going ballistic over.
10. Even though item 9 is true, it does not mean you will be able to take your mislynch in stride, but always try to hide your rage about it or you will look like a whiny little brat.
11. RESPECT THE MODERATOR, THEY WENT TO A LOT OF TROUBLE TO PUT THEIR GAME TOGETHER!

Some points.
I play by phone and yes making arguments can be hard. Occassionally copy and save so you dont lose your post. Or make your post on the memo app first to proofread etc.
Lynching good players early on is outrageous style I think. We should play with the information given in that specific game. Of course knowing players habits can be useful but you shouldn't be able to pick up on D1 on outrageous habits. I havent seen anyone killed early on much lately (I was killed in 2 games within the first 2 days lately but it was more a concidence.) I agree we shouldn't drive people from the game.
As far as the stress factor, I quite enjoy that. I feel a part of the game is in the stress and adrenaline of potentially making a mistake and losing or getting it right and being a hero.
And yeah the dead people posting needs to stop. A "bah" post should be allowed and thats it. Not even commentary on moderator issues or anything should be allowed from dead people anymore because it's getting out of hand.

Agreed. It’s pretty odd that no one tries to lynch the people who try to lynch the top players on D1. Night killing these guys is very good strategy, though, imo.
The Samus Factor, ie. lynching outstandingly good players early every time they play, is a good way of driving people away from playing mafia, thus it should be avoided.
