This game has jinxed me in real life. My daughter just brought home five baby ducks whose mother got hit by a car. I guess living with five ducks is my life now. I only let her keep them if she agrees to name one Kevin.

Just trust people to use their discretion or assign people to target suspected scum?

Asking a question without being interested in the response is a mafia-mindset, and made worse by promptly jumping on a popular bandwagon.

 

All your behavior so far looks like you're trying to blend-in with other posters as opposed to being interested in figuring out the game.

Also, while we wait for people to vote for that hethen, blasphemous mafia, I wanted to make a proposal on how to use our town power roles.
 
I propose that anyone who thinks they are in danger of being shot should flip a coin every night (or some other method of RNG).  If heads, use your ability.  If tails, do not.  This will dissuade mafia from shooting useful targets without actually revealing who did or did not use their ability.

 
No, that is a terrible idea. We have exactly one shot. If the mafia decides to not kill us in the first few three days, and we all use that, then more than 80% of us will have wasted our power.
 
How about this, we talk, then we decide what do?

 

Last game I played we talked for daaaaaays, and never got anywhere really but lynching a vital member and having me killed by a mysterious peeping tommy after I got laid...

 

 
A Mafia player got killed at night, I'd call that a good start to a game.

How about we simply use our ability when we think we're going to be killed. If we're going to be targeted and we flipped tails, then we're dead
How will this dissuade mafia from shooting targets? Even without flipping the coins, nobody should even reveal whether they used their ability or not.

For me, it seems that waiting to see who the scum target first so we have something to go on before we start wasting our shots is the best plan.

Like I said earlier last Mafia game I played we lynched a key player cuz we just decided to gun-ho the Lynch. Who ironically is are mod for this game lol.

He got lynched because he was asking to be lynched, literally. 

 

And here comes the dreaded debate.

 

At least Kevinh was not here, there doesn't seem to be pages of arguing about the strategy to use. 

 

 

We do have to start somewhere yes. I just hate to see people turn into dodo birds and kill a towny cuz someone said they should with no proof to back up the reason. All I would like to see is some thought put into a reason and not just a random sentence thrown together in a second.

 

You wouldn't find much evidence on Day 1, maybe Day 2.
