Just because all of those things ended on cliffhangers I don't think we can make any conclusions.  GoT likes killing people, but they like REALLY killing people. They put everything on a cliffhanger because they want us to question which one is going to be "real" and which ones are going to be fine.

Stannis - yeah, he's probably dead fo sho.

Mrycella - I'm betting the prince has a necklace like everyone else seems to.  Everything in that country is about snakes and vipers, and snake handlers always carry anti-venom.  The kid isn't dumb, I hope.

Jon - "dead," but I'm betting he comes back.  They didn't burn the body, or show it...everyone just walked away.  What has he been preaching? Burn the dead.  If not that, the red witch does have power.  We've seen the god of light bring people back from the dead before...why not do it now?

Daenarys - "captured"  Her dragon is on top of that mountain.  If anyone is captured, it's that khalasar.  She's probably riding by to Meeren with a new army come next season.

Sansa -  Man, I dunno...that was high up there.  She at least has to snap a leg or something.  It's really hard to guess at what will happen when people jump from high up...only 2 options really.  Assuming they live without much damage they'll probably find Brienne...I mean if they get caught we don't get Theon anymore :\

I feel like stannis might still be alive, I always question it when they don't show you the actual death, that doesn't mean I'm right. However, I feel like the lady knight, can't remember her name, might have felt that she could use him for ransom, for Sansa.  As for Sansa they might have been something covered by the snow that only those two know about to cushion their blow.

Brienne.

And I don't see how he could be a ransom. He has no army, no money, no land. The North if full of deserters with tales of Stannis daughter burner, so he doesn't even have value as a puppet king to put a small shade of legitimacy of a Baelish/Bolton alliance to march on Kings Landing.

I don't think he's dead however.

Also Jon Snow, is definitely dead. The actor confirmed this.

This is super disappointing. I was hoping that by the way it was left in the last chapter of the 5th book that it was more of a 'maybe' than definite. It closes one of the most interesting possible story arcs of him being a Targaryen. Bummer.

I wouldn't worry too much. I can't speak for the show because they change so much, but I'm not convinced he's "dead" in the books. You know there is a character left out of the show that jon would fit perfectly and would probably only require his voice.

Damn, I was really looking for to Stannis taking Winterfell and killing that psychotic flayed-man prince guy.

In general, despite Stannis being semi-evil & crazy, he's been the lesser of 'most' evils. I had kinda been rooting for him.

I mean, can you blame him for listening to the Fire Priest lady? That shadow assassin shit DID work, hell I'd start believing her too.

That was the single most depressing episode ever. I really love to hate Cersei, but even that was over the top. Pity the fools who left her alive after doing that to her. Arya is in a pickle... she wants so badly to become an assassin elite to avenge her family, but the guy she trusted to teach her is a religious zealot with a code. Now she's blind? Arya is my favorite character in the show, and she's in a bad way now. Jon's death is a surprise. Now the Nights Watch is on their own and will probably kill the Wildlings. Stannis is done... burned Shireen, Selyse hung herself, and I knew she would after that burning scene... and Brienne always swore to kill Stannis. He's dead. Best thing that happened was Theon finally grew back a nut sack and killed that bitch Myranda. That was a high fall... but who knows, they grew up together, so they may have jumped into the snow powder hundereds of times as children. Dany is back with the Dothraki and knows them. They will have a new Khal, and they will know each other. I feel a new alliance forming after the dust settles. Tyrion and Varys always have the best scenes and this one did not disappoint. They will work well together. The looming absence of Petyr Baelish tells me he returned to the Vale, and patiently waits for everyone to kill everyone else. He will have the only army left in Westeros and can then sieze power. We shall see...

Yeah I agree with this being a possibility.

Yeah lol, that shadow assassin would've made me believe anything tbh.

Sacrificing his daughter who loved him so much and sitting there and listening to her crying as she was burnt alive.. There is no evil higher than this. He's the devil himself.

Nice summary/opinions here.

Cersei still looked fucking hot with her hair cut and them titties tho.. That religion woman that came to her everyday is dead, dead dead.

I didn't understand who that tall knight that carried her away was though?

I think Theon & Sansa are alive and unarmed, Sansa looked pretty confident jumping without any hestitation, so they know what they were doing.

Also what the hell happened to Bran & Rickon? Not a peep from them this season, cliffhanger still remains from season 4. Anyone who read the 5th book, are they involved at all?

The huge knight is what remains of Ser Gregor Clegane... The Mountain. Qyburn "changed" him. I knew Bran was out of season 5 before it began. I'm pretty positive he will become the new worg master. Rickon and Osha were last seen on their way to Umber castle, bannermen of the Stark's. I would say he's there in hiding.

This is about Rickon from the books.  It's not real spoilerish, just gives their location and honestly this part of the show is so different I can't imagine it matters much :\

That makes sense. I have not heard a thing about Umber since Robb's wolf took a couple fingers off his hand in season one. Bolton seems to have a stranglehold on the north, so if Osha felt it wasn't safe, she would take him to a place where Wildlings know the ground and southerners are afraid to go. Davos could have found out that Rickon is alive out there from Jon and Sam, and could be looking for Rickon in season 6.

I do know that in the book, Jon is not killed because of Wildlings, but because he plans to take the Nights Watch to Winterfell to defeat Bolton. In the book, Sansa is not at Winterfell... she's still in the Vale with Baelish, and Ramsay marries a girl named Jayne Poole under the belief she is Arya Stark. In the book, Brienne does not kill Stannis, Shireen is still at Castle Black with her mother and Melisandre, Myrcella and Trystane Martell are not sent to Kings Landing... they stay in Dorne and nobody is poisoned. This page is a wealth of information... http://www.ign.com/wikis/game-of-thrones/Mothers_Mercy_Differences?utm_campaign=ign+main+twitter&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social

They will work well together. The looming absence of Petyr Baelish tells me he returned to the Vale, and patiently waits for everyone to kill everyone else. He will have the only army left in Westeros and can then sieze power. We shall see...

I would say he's there in hiding.

wait a damn second..

Didn't that prince kill him in that justice fight for Tyrion?!

He was badly wounded, but not dead. I also believe it's the Mountain. He looked like a gorilla. :P

Heh, well...badly wounded by the Viper is death.  Ser Gregor had zero chance of survival, and whatever Qyburn cooked up is much closer to Frankenstein's monster than Gregor being "healed."  I don't remember how well it's portrayed in the show, but in the books I feel it's hinted pretty heavily that Qyburn has a love for harvesting live organs and body parts.

Oberyn had poison on his spear blades. The Mountain was taken up to Qyburn's lab where he would die until Cercei gave him permission to keep him alive using his "unsanctioned" skills. Qyburn warned her that the process would change him. She then asked if it would weaken him, and Qyburn replied rather sarcastically... "oh... no". The creature is Gregor Clegane. Too bad, I liked his brother and would have preferred him to live.

Woke (adj.)

A state of awareness only achieved by those dumb enough

to find injustice in everything except their own behavior.

Are you a book reader? There's a pretty solid fan theory that The Hound managed to survive.
