it could be as well that both of you are town and just have different views, or both of you could be scum. A lot of people are already probably going to use their night action. Making this game be really fast. I'm thinking half of the players will be gone by d2.

How about a new plan?

 

One problem with my original plan is that the scum would agree to it if they know that it would provide a win for them or they would argue against it if they know it would provide a loss for them.

 

Another problem is that it includes me as a target.  Either you trust me that I'm a townie or you don't.

 

Finally, rather than alphabetical, I think we should assign targets based on something relatively random, but available to all.  I could assign a stock to each player and then arrange according to the stock performance on a given day.  For example,

Electric Mango = Apple Inc.

iSocialism = Cisco Systems, Inc.

Lyner = General Electric Company

Nenos the Great = Intel Corporation

Rafay = Microsoft Corporation

Road2Victory = Pfizer Inc.

 

Now players will have to agree or disagree with the plan without the scum knowing whether they will win or lose with it.

I prefer the random night action assignment, over the non-random. I just think we need more input for the other guys.

I think we need to have agreement to go with the plan and then set the order after the agreement is made.

 

Alternatively, if we are not going with the plan, then we should at least discuss whom would make good targets..

 

This will give us some information to use tomorrow.  Otherwise, it will be the same situation tomorrow but with a few less players.

 

We need to be cautious, though.  If the scum know which townies are going to be killed by vigilante fire, they can use their kill on somebody else.

I worry about compliance, though, even if we get agreement.

or maybe even state who we would prefer to go after, if anyone at all

I am for the plan and against anyone not for the plan.

 

I'm even thinking we could improve our chances by limiting the choices of the random selection so that those opposing the plan are not adjacent.

I don't really care as long as town wins that whats matter. It seems that there is a high chance. it's my bad due to RL issues that is hampering my activities on here
