Why racism in America gets highlighted the most is because the Americans and the world has a high expectations and ideals for themselves
Thereis alot of anti-white racism in Zimbabwe, it got highlighted for a while few years ago but not anymore. Why, because everyone knows Mugabe to be a total whack and can't expect.anything better of him.
America also probably has travelled the furthest from slavery to having a mixed race President not from majority ethnicity. That is not conceivable in majority of the countries elsewhere, so its bit hypocritical to get all raged about America. To be very frank, other than poorly managed millitary interventions, which has ended up being costly for everyone involved, things are better than most in alot of the other areas. Being the biggest kid on the block means you're in spotlight all the time.
Also in many of these racism cases, what I see is some of the guys getting shot not following instructions of law enforcement. Sure, in some cases law enforcement elements are obviously being racist but in many instances, the alleged victims are skirting the red lines and i'd call it provocation and you need to be pegged down now and then to be taught a lesson that law isn't a joke you play with.
I am not a believer that f you have the credentials you cannot break through social and economic hardships. I am a firm believer in this because my own family broke through the circle of poverty by sheer force of having the will to educate itself, get the degrees, get scholarships and goto some of the best universities around the globe. All of this in one generation. So I do not believe one's social circumstances are good enough reason to not attempt break through, I understand sometimes truly there are such circumstances, but alot of times, if you use that as an excuse but then sell drugs and smuggled goods, waste your time and skip classes in school, I call it BS.
RE:SHOOTING - CAIR needs to get its act together, this Farooq syed guy allegedly went radical over two years and that was visible for everyone, where the fuck was CAIR to not report the guy? Muslim communities will need to weed out the bad fish in the pond before crying about everyone shouting the whole pond smells funny. Give no reason to be profiled bro.
Absolutely outrageous, these attackers even left behind their own 6 month old baby into a life of misery. Fucking assholes. These types need to be caught and thrown in Guntanamo. Message of condemnation and prayers are not enough. Muslim communities will need to do more, they will need to weed out the trash and at the same time show the trash talkers they can be the better and bigger at heart. Until that time, shits gonna fly that way. I'd start with kicking Tom dick and Harries becoming Imams and preaching. That's step 1. Step 2 is state cleared Imams and preaching. being a religious scholar needs a lot of education and training, over a decade, here we have idiots becoming preachers. Step 3. Muslim under cover agents in every mosque. Step 4: Mosques should be open to everyone. Step 5: These efforts need to be highlighted and communicated step 6: build political base, so your good efforts and actions aren't thwarted easily by haters and you can reach across to majority step 7: shut down illegal mosques, this is absolutely fine by Islamic jurisprudence. Step 8: Better of have mosques built through local laws, through a process if there is a need for one, population, area etc. They should all be centres of cultural exchanges. In golden years of Islam, when Islamic countries were leasing in science, politics millitary etc, mosques were not just areas of prayers, their surrounding complexes included schools of education in various fields like maths, science, law, philosophy, etc not just what we have today, where people rote learn or read Holy Quran in ancient Arabic writing you don't understand and for which you actually needs decades of training and education to be able to be actually be qualified and have some authority in interpreting it. Its not like internet warriors and nutjobes today, where they copy paste whatever they want to fit things into their world view. There was supposed to be a whole and complicated process to the interpretation, for exactly the same reason today, to avoid, Tom dick harry going around copy pasting, interpreting whatever the hell they want. Hell, reforms can come later, but even basics are out of the window these days, what to talk about reforms. Forget the basics even, there isn't widespread basic education. You got to be a giant in philosophy and extremely well read to even begin the decades long process of getting trained in interpretation. Do we have them? No. We have idiots in street corners who read few books, have a bit of gift of public speaking and bit of charisma here and there and suddenly they are prayer leaders. What a joke. I wouldn't piss on these takfiris.
I bet most you guys aren't even aware that there is a lengthy complicated system to Islamic jurisprudence, I wouldn't be surprised. Most of the people around me don't know this, what to expect from those living thousands of miles apart. Hell I didn't know about it until I was in university. Why would a local preacher mention these facts, it undermines their influence and power. Its a mess, and its a mess we Muslims will need to clean up.
