Hey Inram, Im a bit curious, why you think R2V post are "scummy"? 

 

He wasnt really on my radar until the last few days. Specifically a couple of posts he made. First, when I pointed out (to Mandarijn) that its a strange statement to not want someone post more. R2V quickly followed up with a question something along the lines of "Mandarijn is scum?". So OK I paid that no mind but the same thing happened after Samoos claim. He quickly followed up with "Is Samus' action scummy?" It really looks to me like he is fishing for someone that can be wagoned on. Instead of presenting a clear argument of why he thinks one or the other may be scummy, he is trying to build a wagon or throw suspicion at others without committing himself.

 

From my previous games I have seen that scum rarely want to the take the lead in lynching someone. So they wait for a likely victim to emerge from someone elses suspicions and tries to build up on that to effect a lynch. So his actions the last few days has been consistent with that tactic, which leads me to be very suspicious of him.

If you take this into account and you see no wagon was formed on TW (he's also been very quiet these last few days), then I'm even more certain he's scum...

I'm seem to be personally switching back and forth between R2V and TW. TW has gone into radio silence. R2V has made comments that concern me, and since my mafia experience is light to begin with, the opinions of the likes of Imran, etc carry weight.

I'm still sticking with my vote, but clear and convincing arguments will carry the day with me.

I'm gonna post my train of thoughts before the night falls. As I want to be able to look back at the end of the game and see how far my initial thoughts were off from the truth.

 

My Mafia list: TW? (75%), Yehom?, R2V?, Perez? (Rusken and EM are close as well)

 

My 'relatively safe' list (in assumption TW is indeed scum, you gotta start somewhere ):

Finster (he voted for TW)

Robert (almost got lynched on D1 for nothing, so quite some scum would've voted for him as well. TW was the 5th/6th vote, so that's quite risky in my opinion)

Samus (he voted for TW + role claimed)

Lyner (we haven't heard anything from him yet, but if Samus is good, he's good as well)

Some other thoughts:

iSocialism: could be anything, but probably not in the same camp as Rusken and/or R2V, I'm leaning town as I think R2V and/or Rusken are scum (but who knows, maybe it's the other way around)

Rusken and R2V seem to be defending eachother (but they're both pretty big spammers, so doesn't necessarily mean anything), one or maybe even both are scum (both jumped on the lynch Robert wagon, none have voted for TW, Rusken helped lynch FF)

Kazio is inactive, could be anything (seem to be random votes)

Imran: he seems pro-town, but he could also be a very smart scum (same as EM with voting)

Perez: very quiet, so I'm leaning towards scum (he also jumped on the lynch Robert wagon + has only voted twice: Robert and iSocialism)

EM: also very quiet, could be anything (he voted for a couple of people already, most of which I think are town, except for Perez)

Rafay: also very quiet, he voted for TW on D1 though, but this could be a diversion (as he's not backing us now to lynch him)

Yehom: was very quiet, now came to life because of the accusations from Robert (he also jumped on the lynch Robert wagon + helped lynch FF)

Damn there is a lot of new information to process.. I will post more later when I get more time, but here are some quick thoughts:

 

-Samus's claim is interesting and I am inclined to believe him at this point so I will scratch him from my list.

-Mandarijn still seems to have it out for me even though he has never actually given a good reason and has largely ignored the points that I've made in the past by simply stating "very scumlike to write a wall of text". By that logic, where are his votes on people like Yehom or Imran or Robert or iSoc or anyone else that posted more than two sentences in a single post? He accused me with no actual evidence so you're damn right that I'm going to defend myself. I am not sold on him as either scum or town yet for sure, but his apparent fascination with me is not going unnoticed.

-R2V is climbing the suspicion list a little bit.

-There is a lot of potential information in the Yehom/Robert conversation.

-I don't think that all of the more inactive players are town aligned. I think that at least one of those players is scum for sure. Kazio and Rafay are potentially on that list.

I am sceptical of the strategy that anyone with a unique star wars name is not scum. In other games which Kevin had modded the scum are given cover names as well. You can go and check some of the older games. So R2V is still on my suspicious list.

 

Good news is it seems like we have found a replacement for Kaz. Maybe he can put a fresh eye on things and have a clearer perspective. However its still 27 pages that he has to wade through

 

We are however very close to deadline so we need to really decide on who to lynch. I will post an analysis and my vote by tomorrow..running short on time now.
