Robert reports that Yehom didn't visit anyone, FB has been somewhat pro-town in my mind. leaving Imran and TW. I know Yehom not visiting anyone doesn't clear him, but I also feel like it's two town bickering. I also feel like right now that scum may be hiding off any wagons, or at least the majority of them. Still leaving me with Irman and TW. I'm just not convince on TW being scum, nor town> I just lean more towards the idea of not lynching him. He has also tried to discredit R2V RC. This leaves me with

I see no reason to role claim. This only helps the scum. Scum are always fishing for Townie roles so that they can plan their actions at night.

To further point out the flaw in your theory there are 4 5 scum in this game probably. Do you really think none of them have any power roles. Pretty sure there are scum watchers or scum trackers as well.

Actually, I've been fading in and out, but let's not forget that I actually have a high post count here (just FYI), so chances are, I've read most of it. I'll admit that I skimmed some parts, but hey, let's not consider that, or the fact that keeping up with all the claims and the who blames who and why (which I've found little to no reason for most except for hearsay or unsubstantiated opinions, again, unless I missed something, which again, I stated, might be the case).

 

Let's also not forget that I can prove my role day 3 if you're that inclined. Question is, can you? Oh wait, we don't know about your role EM, now do we? Care to enlighten us, or do we get to play in the dark?

A real pro-town would be actively involved in this thread trying to ascertain who real scum is by reading replies and trying to come to some conclusion based off players replies and attitudes, you haven't been reading and haven't been trying to form any type of serious opinion, you have just been skipping posts because you don't actually care who real scum is. Why don't you care? Because, you already know who real scum are!

I was having a hard time deciding among who to vote for between TW, R2V and yehom. I didn't really want to see any of the 3 lynched tbh. So you just made my decision easier.

Unvote: Samus. At this point I'm not convinced Sammy is a scum. 

 

 

Having read all this in one go gives me unique insights to provide input that is let's say more out of the box and make observations not infected with on going debate which often can be over trivial reasons, even tho alot of it has been sbustantial.

 

I think at this stage, there is absolutely no point killing inactives. If we're going down that path, I'd pick the lurkers. My reasoning is following (keep in mind im still getting used to this particular format's mechanics, I've only played the most simplest of the forms long long ago].

 

- Probability of inactive being a townie is higher than mafia for simple mathematical reasons. It's simple and to the point, it does'nt help townies in my opinion, especially if the ratio falls over then there is a problem.  If we keep continuing like this at this point, townies loose automatically, simple as that. 

 

- Lurkers will also at the same time try to avoid wagoning one way or another as long as it isnt on them. The fact that lurkers are in large still lurking to some extent makes me believe that a wagoning hasnt occurred on one of them. This doest narrow downs the list, but it touches my suspect-o-meter. Here Rafey comes to my mind, sorry but I havent really seen much input from you sir other than flip flopping and pushing the tangent one way or another and lurk about here and there. 

 

- My other list of suspects are those who are flowing where the wind is blowing. Here, Finster comes to my mind. All he has done and said is waiting on others to opinionate mostly, he's been wagoning on whatever is flavor of the moment. This is a classic scummy behaviour. Now, this could be as he pretends to that it's been a while for me, but cmon, you dont become a president of IRON if you're dumb, no way, our system filters it out, we may perform debacles of great magnitude every few years, but that's mostly due to disorganization rather than being dumb. Finster's done a lot of posting to stay out of the 'lurker' suspecions, but they're mostly fluff and or riding on someone else's opinion. A classic scummy behaviour I say, stay low, not quite and keep passing the torch.

Lol. Ok. Still generate more conversation. Plus I hate being scum. And the one time I was scum here I didn't post very much. Mainly cause I don't like playing as scum very much.

But at least other stuff is going on now. People were just willing to let things fizzle out with no conversation. This is a more productive day 1 then most and we have't hade a day 1 Lynch.

Town people who can do something at night have a power role. A power role could be something that be common like a cop or tracker/watcher. Or something different but would be explained in his/her role pm. There are sometimes restrictions on roles or conditions. Would be explained in the role pm also.

Theses roles are to help the town find scum. If for some reason they don't help the town find scum, or even can hurt the town but is a townie role, those are called negative utilitys.

Scum can get additional powers at night also besides the factional night kill. This again is explained in there role pm and probably there teammates as well. These athletes usually act as buffs to the mafia to help improve there chances at winning against more powerful Townie roles. So moderators have to create a balanced, fair, and fun game at the same time.

There can also be 3rd party roles. Ranging from sk, firestarters, cults, witches. Again to help with balancing. It's harder to win as a third party roles then either scum or town.

Hope I didn't overload you. This can be looked up on the mafia scum wiki.

 
Not that much of an overload. It'll probably take me a few tries to get the whole thing down, but meh, for now, I'll just take in the information and, hopefully, make informed decisions to not lynch the wrong ones.

I am torn between TW and EM as potential scum. Yes, TW offered up an impassioned defense of the FF vote, but is that a ploy to lure people into not suspecting him to be scum?

Samus is on my radar as well. I'm semi-convinced that he could play the scum role whilst appearing to be a townie relatively easily.

As for my FF vote? Well, it was maybe 75% bandwagoning. She hadn't been active where she was active elsewhere, and we do know activity is necessary to do this right. Did it bite the town in the ass? Yes and no. Yes because the town is down 1 person and a power role at that, and no because well, unless you're active to DO that role, what's the point?

Not ready to make a lynch choice yet. Too much to figure out still.

Lyner isn't usually inactive. He's a very active player; both as scum and town. Kaz is active too in games but strangely not in this one.....

Mainly that you really hadn't answered the questions he posed. IMO you have to my satisfaction now, which is why I reversed my vote.

TW has also been on my radar for quite some time, for reasons elaborated on by Samus and Mandj.

Unless I see something more compelling regarding another person, this is where I stand for now.

So your vote of me is predicated upon the opinion of someone who openly champions his ability to deceive the town into doing his work for him as scum, is because I voted to remove an inactive player from the game while almost everyone else agreed that removing an inactive was our best option as a town, and because I pointed out that Robert was acting suspicious, after half a dozen other people pointed out that Robert was acting suspicious? Does that about cover it? Seems more to me that the scum in this game are afraid that I might have some influence with other people and might be able to seek them out and prosecute them.

I'm still not quite ready to cast my vote yet but I am thinking this right now:
1) R2V is suspicious. His immediate reaction to Samus seemed to be pretty much saying that he didn't believe him. Of those who have claimed their character, I think that his may be the most likely to be false. If Kevin is using safe-claims at all in this game, it seems that having a safe claim like this would certainly be beneficial to someone scummy.
2) Rusken may have made a real mistake in his disregard of Samus' role and claim as well. His response does not seem to be pro-town.
3) I've pointed out Rafay's lurking behavior in the past and shah has brought it back to the front of my mind. There are still a couple people who seem to be less active than the rest and I think that at least one of them are likely to be scum.
4) I'm still trying to sort through the Robert vs Yehom spat. Does anyone understand what's going on there? :/

So if I were doing what you said I were doing, I would have bandwagoned with him quite a while ago.
