I checked the wiki a bit and found a couple explanations:

So I really hope the Mafia doesn't have a rolestopper that doesn't prevent kills.

@R2V: I have a question for you: you claimed you're Luke, a watcher and you targetted Robert on the 1st night. What was the outcome as you didn't specifiy this before?

Mafia being blocked on n1 is likely. Blocker might of also blocked our doc on accident also. Honestly there is a ton of scenarios.

Essentially any member of the mafia can submit the kill and do the kill themselve. Could be a different person preforming the kill Each night.

Could of been a strong kill also to bypass docs protection. Likely such an ability would be one shot though.

There is so much possibilities. I want to hear from R2V since he claimed watcher. If he watched Shamus. We have a lead stronger then mine.

Okay, this sucks.

 

OMG! Where's our protection??? This is really bad... 

 

And does anyone know what this means: "Many players went to the first player to place his vote. Unfortunately (for the town), one of those players made a kill."

I think that he is saying: "Many players visited the first player to place his vote (Samus against Rusken?). Unfortunately for the town, one of those players was able to kill him."

 

If this is correct it means that several people visited Samus last night.

 

This means one of the following things has to be true:

1) We have no doctor and therefore no further protection against mafia kills..

2) The doctor was roleblocked allowing the mafia kill to go through.

3) The doctor took a chance and tried to protect someone else? Perhaps another person who has roleclaimed?

4) We have an inactive doctor.

 

Is there any other way this could have happened? We can only assume that a watcher and or tracker also visited Samus. If so, what did we find out?

I am not sure how a rolestopper would have made the kill possible. If Mafia A Role stops Samus so no protection ability could touch him, that would also mean the Kill action by Mafia B would be blocked.

This makes sense.

 

Samus was the Universal Backup so he inherited FFs role, which means he also got the Ascetic ability which stopped all protective actions against him except the kill.

Well Samus claimed Universal Backup, so he had the same role as Fox and thus the Mafia knew he was Ascetic.

 

Does Ascetic also means he can't be protected then?

 

@Imran: The wiki says rolestopper has also a variations that stops all roles, except kills.

As I couldn't track last night I didn't submit a night action. I'm an odd tracker and can only track on odd nights otherwise I would have tracked yehom again. Why I wasn't too worried revealing myself as I consider myself a weak tracker.

That being said I wouldn't be surprised if there is an even role out there. My theory is everybody has a night action.

R2V might be an odd or even also. Since watcher is directly related to tracker. We could have a follower or voyer also with the odd even condition.
