Also in the instructions. it says that the mafia players may speak to each other during the night. Though this doesn't apply that they can't talk to each other during the day. The way it's worded make it sounds that they are only allowed to chat to each other outside the game only during the night

Well. It's a toss up. I didn't know that role even existed till now. Heck were I played mafia could always talk during the day. When I'be seen it elsewhere, I assumed it was simple MOD preference rule.

I haven't given it much thought about the difference. But I've mainly been town here thankfully.
