I love your response imran, When did I say I actually wanted to lynch someone today?

 

So you are saying you are voting for someone but dont think they are scum or that they should be lynched. Thats neither here or there. Say you start a lynching wagon on someone or ass to the wagon and then when a wagon develops you simply jump off and if the lynched guy turns out to be a townie, you claim on Day 2 ..."hey I said I didnt want to lynch him! My vote was just because!" See I find that pretty suspicious. Its neither here or there. If you dont want to lynch anyone on Day 1 why are you voting to lynch people.

not true, take a look at this glorious thread where I became MVP because I behaved so much like a town, yet I was scum all along.

 

 

in all seriousness, there's no way scum can really give theirselves away on day 1 without role claiming or some bs, we can all play along and claim that x, y & z's replies are deffo of a towny nature, yet they were the vilest of scum alive (e.g Electric Tango) and vice versa.

 

We just gotta let the days carry on and watch people carefully.

I've only played this once before a loooong time ago, so forgive me if my remembrance of easy ways to find scum. :-/

Scum can point fingers at people quickly. Though ideally they want eyes off of them. They have to end up lynching town at the same time time. Like a balancing act kind-of I guess.

Essencally yes. Unless you role is a power role and you can determine somebody is town that way. Or a confirmed cop you can trust. So trust no one. Until you have evidence to believe them.
