Hillary may have an even bigger problem than the FBI... they are called the NSA. This is very informative.

Can the President pardon Hillary before she is arrested? Is there some law like that? Will it unfold like the Iran Contra affair?
Thusfar the only thing the american bureau's have proven is that they work slower then belgian police, now they just need to beat our incompetence

Sanders may not win the nomination in the end but the primaries are going to the states where he is polling very well. I believe that Sanders ideas and this movement he rallied up will continue even if he doesn't when and will be a reckoning the next election and so on. We may first see things done at local levels and we could probably see more grassroots politicians like him popping up everywhere on both sides. Really I wish that this election will be the end to the two party system and cause us to have 3 or 4 parties.
1. The Far Left aka The Progressives which would probably include the Green Party, Democratic Socialist, a few democrats and Liberals and some other left wing groups
2. Centralist Democrats or just a Centralist party in general made up of majority of democrats and a few moderate and Fiscal conservatives.
3. Conservatives- The hard core conservatives, made up of most of the Republican party
4. Libertarians or the Tea Party/ Trumps party, Now I can see this going either route as either the Hard core reactionary Conservative tea party splits off or they stay in with the Conservative party or the Libertarians split or both and we get 5 parties.
Either way I don't see our current parties staying the same and I see it's time to split up and either get rid of them (not likely) or have a multiple party system.
What do y'all think?
Hypothetical election with 4 parties...
Progressives - 25%
Conservatives - 25%
Democrats - 30%
Libertarians - 20%
Hooray the Democrats won! Do you really want a President elected that 70% of the country voted against? How can anyone get to the required electoral votes to win? Do we just have runoffs until someone gets there? 2 party system is better.

You touched the important fact and shortcomming of a 2-party system, it only works up until +50% votes go to a single party. The US is diversing itself in voting which gives rise to a certain diminishing of a +50% happening. And while the current set-up still heavely favours a 2-party system, you will find that the 2 parties will crack further and further from the inside up until they basically run on "We aren't the other party" (which already happens anyway )
You could start evolving to a system many Mediterranean nations have, where you get many smaller local parties but they blob together in 2/3 massive parties when running for president.

"I Barack Obama, Pardon Hillary Clinton for any crime she has committed that she will be convicted of in the future"
Yes I'm sure that would go over well.

So far only the southern states have voted which he expected to not win many of but heading towards the west he will see a jump in delegates
Okay... this thread is full of my own opinions, everyone has them. I still want the Sanders vs. Trump election. I think the U.S.A. really needs the Socialism vs. Capitalism election... It would be epic!

I think Coalitions could form different sects working together but not sure, there is always problems with bipartisan or what would be Tri/Quad partisan. But that just goes along with the massive corruption inside our political system, money holds more sway than anything.

Nothing new was learned last night. Utah and Idaho, both very red states... still absolutely hate Hillary Clinton. Those Democrats showed their hatred for the wicked witch by giving Bernie Sanders almost 80% of the vote in both contests.
Hillary gave Bernie the finger by taking Arizona. Nothing changes, and Hillary will still be the nominee... unless the FBI steps in.
Current Delegate Count (CNN)
Hillary Clinton - 1,711
Bernie Sanders - 939
Needed to win - 2,383

Yea Hillary will have it unless Bernie starts to win every state from here on out. Apparently strange things were going on in Arizona.
I gotta hand it to Bernie Sanders... he refuses to die. Out of the three contests for the Democrat nomination yesterday, Bernie took three. Bernie didn't just take them, he utterly crushed Hillary Clinton in all three... it wasn't even close. I knew he would take Washington. I have a lot of family in Washington, and I know how popular he is there, but his astronomical wins in Alaska and Hawaii has really started to insult the Clinton machine. Bernie took Washington with 73% of the vote... Hawaii with 70%... and Alaska with a stunning 82% of the vote.
There is no way to explain this other than utter contempt for the sham candidate called Hillary Clinton. What is even more criminal, is after getting crushed so badly by Bernie... they still have the audacity to award Clinton delegates from these contests. If the Super-Delegates can generate enough spine to pull their support from the walking gas-bag, and actually support the candidate the party wants... you just might get Bernie on the ballot in November.
Our politics on both sides has gone completely off the rails and in the realm of the surreal. I don't know what to think anymore.

Proportional ftw!
That said, How are both sides of the isle doing on winning states which are strictly already won with the presidentional race? Got a feeling Sanders wins more in republican states while on the Republican side it is more about demographics no?

Washington and Hawaii are Democrat strongholds... Alaska is blood Republican. Wisconsin will be pivotal on April 5.

I think it's the opposite. Hillary has done pretty well in the deep south. States like New Hampshire are gonna vote democrat anyways.Proportional ftw!

Yea on the democratic side Bernie has been wining in strong liberal states, yes there have been a few outliers like Alaska and Oklahoma, but Hilary has really only won or dominated in the South and strong republican states. Now there also other factors like Hilary is getting more of the African American vote. Bernie leads or wins places with more White Americans. This is still strange to me for several reasons, but things may change. Yea Wisconsin will be a big one. Another point that goes well for Bernie is states with Open Primaries or Caucasus where Independents overwhelmingly support Bernie just not Ohio where they went to Kasich and this was a blow for Bernie. And that loss in Ohio is why people well telling Bernie to get out. Ohio is sometimes a swing state I believe right Lys?
I just hope this momentum can keep going a few more big wins might just shake up the supper delegates. Now if Bernie does win huge in a few more states a can see a few of the super delegates switching sides not a majority or enough to give Bernie a win. Like what let Obama win in 2008 but maybe enough to go to the convention with. We will see.
Also what do y'all think of the Bird landing on the Stage and than flying onto the podium. A sign?
