Everyone knows women are supposed to vote for female exemplar Hillary Clinton, I'm disappointed.

I have tremendous respect for your effort, but the primaries are turning inward, headfirst, into very anti-socialist territory, and I believe you are setting yourself up for heartbreak. I wish you the best of luck my friend, but freedom is not free.

He shouldn't be for the same reasons Trump shouldn't. Culture shock for to many citizens only leads to more shouting.

As far as I can see. There isn't a main candidate with the values I would want. I could be wrong, but I haven't seen a candidate that has what I want.
I'm afraid to ask, but I can't stand the temptation... what do you want?

The differance between IRON and some rag tag alliance is the fact that we will fight with no reguard to our own nations. Putting the greater good of the whole before ourselves. Victory for all or they will have to fight us to the last point of infa in the last IRON nation. Every so often someone(s) will come around and exemplifie this. Living up to the IRON Values. It gives me great pleaser to baptize three of IRON's up and comers.

I'm a Christian and can be considered poor. While I like the collage thing that Bernie has, I don't like his abortion policy. I think in extreme circumstances abortion is OK, but it simply causes too much pain. Since I know people who had an abortion, they regret it immensely.
So I guess I like some ideas from both dem and repub.
I'll take a look at him tw.
You have to keep to reality with issues like abortion. Will abortion ever be illegal in the USA? Absolutely not... get it out of your head. The only issue now is who is responsible for it, and who will pay for it. Who you support should be based on other issues, but if this is important to you, you should support the candidate that at least will keep the responsibility for the procedure away from you.
I believe states should be given the power to prohibit the practice in their state if they wish, but they then have to deal with the consequences of taking that stand. How many women and doctors will they throw in jail for it? The blade cuts both ways, and it's exactly the reason the Federal Government should stay far away from things that are not in their job description.

I'm not very fond of Bernie's socialist and foreign policies. They are quite isolationist and the world economy could be majorly impacted since a large part of the world economy depends on US economy in some form or the other.
US foreign policy is half the worlds problems.
Bernie may not be doing strong with foreign Policy issues but he was one of the only politician to get the Iraq war right, this is also why people like him. There is many reasons why not to like a certain candidate but the thing is you will probably never find the one politician who you support 100%. I even have some issues with Bernie Sanders on somethings while very miniscule it won't change my support for him. To me he is the best candidate in a long time, yes Obama said similar things but once he won he abandon or cut back on what his original ideas were. Sanders to me is what FDR and maybe even Kennedy was to the people during those times.
Well if he does lose, yes we will be upset but this movement will grow even stronger over time if these things don't change.
The issue of Abortion is a personal issue and it's your right to decide thats why while I see myself more pro-life, I can't make that decision because first I am not female, second there are many cases where abortions are needed, as one case here In my State of Texas will horrible laws are preventing a 13 year old girl who was rape from getting one. Now you say you want to leave it to the States... Now come on what issues have states got right? Well besides the few states that have legalized marijuana. Which needs to happen Nationally as other issue with States were a Vet living in Kansas who wanted to move to a state so he could smoke Weed legally got his kids taken away because they found out. Sorry States rights are a thing of the pass and people need to get over that. The North Won we have a Federal Government system not a Confederative.
Hi Robert... John F. Kennedy was not a Progressive, you are confusing him with his younger brother Edward. John needed Lyndon Johnson as his running mate to win Texas, but they disagreed and hated each other intensely. John Kennedy was the Donald Trump of 1960, with better manners. He despised Socialism and massively cut taxes. If John Kennedy lived long enough to have a second term... he may have actually been a great President. To compare him with Sanders, FDR, or his incompetent brother, is an insult.
What Texas law is preventing a 13 year old rape victim from getting an abortion? I am absolutely positive you are lying. If her parents are taking her to the proper location, and paying for the procedure, I'm quite confident the little tyke successfully ended the life of the offending baby.
The Constitution has a 10th amendment. This says that the powers not delegated to the Federal Government in the Constitution, are reserved to the States. Progressives continue to attempt to shift power to the Federal Government, and grant them power that the Constitution never gave them. According to your logic, we are wasting billions of resources on useless State Governments.

The part about the 13 year old is in the 13th minute, but nonetheless the whole segment is worth a watch. There's some good arguments John Oliver makes, and ways states are doing whatever possible to stop abortion without merely doing so. The likes of new regulations, building specifications, etc to basically either make it a headache for abortion clinics or force them to have to shut down.
Now I'm very pro-life, it's one point you're not going to change my mind on (though I do feel differently when it involves Rape/Insest cases), but the Supreme Court did rule on it, and abortion is legal. I'm fully against it, nor will I ever support it, but in my eyes if it's legal it's legal. The Supreme Court has ruled owning a gun for self defense is covered under the second amendment, and it's one I don't want to see infringed on either, so I can't pick and choose on it. Sure then 2nd Amendment I'm for and I use it when people want to infringe on it, I can't use that and throw out that Supreme Court said it's so, and then turn around and look to support or infringe on Abortion which has been deemed legal. If I don't want someone infringing on a right of mine, I surely shouldn't infringe on a right (legal procedure) of someone else. I wont support it, but I also think people shouldn't make laws to hinder it, just like states/Government have tried to do with firearms like assault weapons ban/magazine limitations/etc that I fully am against.

I'm not watching the whole thing, because it's John Oliver and I hope Trump finds a reason to deport him.
That being said, the abortion provider is in an edited interview saying she can't get anyone to work for her because of this crazy law, and then it flips to her saying she had to turn them away... the question remains "Why?". Why did they have to turn them away? How is it she "couldn't save her?" ... like she died or something. My guess is they didn't want to pay for it... but we'll never know because it's John Oliver trying to indoctrinate people.... and why do you automatically believe it was rape? Because someone claims it was? Trust me when I say that 13 year old girls love to have sex.
Abortion is legal in the USA. Deal with it. It's not a government provided procedure to solve problems.

I am not from the United States, and if I were, I wouldn't be a member of any of the parties. While I don't agree at all with the Republicans, the Democrats don't attract me at all. My issue with the Republicans is mostly some beliefs that I find ridiculous. The fact that they don't believe in global warning, or on other scientific values irks me. I believe in science and their reasoning for that is, in my opinion, bullshit. But anyways, Republican policies are not to my agreement. The Democrats, on the other side would attract me more if they weren't as corrupt as they are. Don't get me wrong, I cannot pretend that I know much about the US political system, much less about its laws, but there is something in the Centrism of the Democrats that doesn't fit with me.
I am a leftist, not to say that those who believe in something else are wrong, but I think that democratic socialism, as Bernie puts it, is an answer to a problem that we are currrently facing. In a country where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, the middle class is slowly being absorbed into the lower classes. And by socialism, I am not suggesting a pseudo communist country. My belief, and the fact by which I prefer Bernie above other candidates, is that the US can become a country like the Scandinavian countries.
Taxes may be high, but those taxes would be used to give education, healthcare and many other basic things for free, something that America lacks in quality. By having government run quality schools and hospitals, the country could become better. Free college, or low tuition college with well trained professors could give access to higher education to those who cannot afford it. And I'm not saying that community colleges are bad, I'm saying they could be better. If the government spent less taxes on the military and focused more on the wellbeing of their population, the quality of life would improve much more and the happiness of citizens would be raised.
I may not live in the US, but I have two baby cousins there and I would like to watch them grow up in a country where you don't have to spend your whole life paying student loans for college, or where hospital bills aren't ridiculously high. Maybe I'm dreaming but I think that Bernie Sanders could achieve at least a part of that if he becomes president.
I'm not watching the whole thing, because it's John Oliver and I hope Trump finds a reason to deport him.
Heared he wants to keep Guantanamo open for just such "evil people"
