So far the only person worth lynching is Lyner, just to prove the rumor he's always scum.
Apart from that we shouldn't go after inactive ones, just replace them.
So far the only person worth lynching is Lyner, just to prove the rumor he's always scum.

The problem with your strategy is that there has to be mass role claims on D2 to identify that scum, which I am pretty sure is not allowed.
I didn't say we're supposed to tell who we are, did I? All I asked was that we organize our targets for checking. How is suddenly checking (in your case) Robert a much worse option than for instance Roq? Would you like for instance to know who was the target of a weak townie that died at night? You won't know if you don't organize it.
All I'm hearing is that organizing is not ideal. Let's assume everyone knows it, alright? Now please tell me why choosing targets at random is better.
Edit: Just bolding important part, because that something you're all picking while it was not part of the plan.
There's more problems with your strategy.
1. TW is using similar role modifiers from kevins last game. Which means there may be odd/even night power abilities and/or X-shot power abilities. Not everyone can probably use their ability on N1 and if some people have x-shot ability it will be very unwise of them to use it up for almost no reason.
2. Some townie power abilities are protective and some are investigative. The protective ones should be used on who they think are most townie (i.e. who are actively scum hunting and trying to make sure the town wins), while the investigative abilities should be used on those who look suspicious or are scummy.
So just putting up a strategy where A uses his power on on B and B uses his power on C is not a good idea. But that does not mean they should use their powers randomly. They need to look at the posts and actions of players of D1 and decide who to protect/investigate. This has a better chance of us getting some concrete info that can be used in the later days,
3. And of course, as has already been pointed out, this strategy is bound to fail because scum will know exactly who is using their ability on whom and can plan their night actions accordingly.
So imo, night actions should be left at the discretion of the individual townie power roles. They decide who they want to protect/investigate. The scum will not know who is getting investigated and who will be protected and they also have to throw a kill by basically closing their eyes and praying hard that they are not watched/tracked or investigated or their target protected.
Now, to come back to strategy that should be used on D1, I agree that actives should not be lynched. Inactives should also not be lynched, because they may be replaced if they are too inactive. So who gets the chop..the lurkers. These are the people who are not inactive but also are not posting much. It becomes extremely hard to get a read on who may be scum on later days when players dont post and there is nothing to be analysed. So lets put [ressure on the lurkers in terms of votes until they start posting more and when they do, move on to the next one.
I will take another look at this game and try to find a list of lurkers so far in this game.
Classified Intel on Empire of Imran:
Yo cant manipulate targeting here - there's a list made by TW.
But maybe that list happens to favor the scum.

I'm going to do this for now. Though seems nothing substantail has really happened anyways.

Btw, I remember my orginal nation having alluminium and Urainium as a resource. It was easy for me to get a trade circle.

So who gets the chop..the lurkers.
The lurkers are usually NOT mafia though.
Mafia tend to be super active (since there are only a very few amount of them 3-5 usually), they are generally active swaying the wagons to their causes.

MVP(Mod’s Choice)= Master Samus; I think Master Samus played amazingly for a guy who claims it was his second only mafia game. He never led the town on him and that’s why he deserves this award. He was impressive in manipulating the town that led to the ultimate mafia victory.
Player of Mafia; Master Samus/emudevelopment (shared); I think both were instrumental in the town’s defeat. Both were manipulative and deceptive. They clearly came out as pro-town and looked like de-facto town leaders. They led the lynch wagon w/o anyone uncovering their true motives.
Samus, you should be proud that you've helped make an environment where people feel safe enough to share their experiences.

Couldn't have said it better. Killing of lurkers is the best strategy for mafia. A defenseless townie is lynched and no one can be blamed.

Some are. Many scum choose to play by being just active enough to not be "lurking" but don't actually add anything of benefit to the conversation. Others choose to play by not posting anything, and claiming some outside force causing inactivity, so that way they can avoid drawing any suspicion.

Killing people who are hiding and not adding to the conversation in any meaningful way and are therefore able to avoid suspicion, is a bad strategy for the town? Yes lets kill all the active people who are participating in the discussion. Definitely a good plan.

Yes lets kill all the active people who are participating in the discussion
I never said that. But I'm against reducing townies. 2 kills in 1 round is not good for the town.....

Day two always bring more excitement, however how we chose to head into day two will be the discussion of the excitement. Pushing for a lynch just to lynch is not helpful. lynches should only be done to gather evidence or to make a statement.

Scum will change playstyle, if the narrative is to kill lurker, they'll get active and vice versa.

1 real life day. If people are missing a full day in this game (a week) then that isn't by accident.
Its still day 1. We know nothing. If people suspect someone for whatever there reasons be, some if them can apply the roles and see what's up. Things eventually start adding up and cases being built on solid information rather than on ad-hoc manner which scum can pass through very easily because currently the criteria seems to be let's post whatever and get post count up. You do realise white noise isn't any good.1 real life day. If people are missing a full day in this game (a week) then that isn't by accident.
