After watching that video I wanted to share with you a dream I had last year. This is all 100% true and it was one of the worst nightmares I've ever had. I've only told a few people but its something I want to open up about as we are nearing the election.

 

Sometime in November of 2015 I went to bed for the night and I awoke the next morning. I had to get get ready for work but before I eat breakfast, I often read the news on my computer and browse random websites. So I turn on my computer and Windows 10 boots to my desktop, all my icons were there and my background was the same. I open up Firefox and type in the url to a news website. While the page is rendering I glance down to the lower right section of the computer taskbar. For some strange reason the date on my computer isn't right. It says 11/2016. I think to myself, well thats a little odd.

 

Now as some of you may have figured it out, I had been dreaming up until this point. I wasn't aware as it was incredibly detailed and vivid

 

I had recently unplugged my hard drive so I surmised the clock must have somehow changed. The webpage finished rendering so I glance back up at the screen and see the following picture. Hillary Clinton is standing at a podium with a large smile of her face. The headline below the picture said,

 

Breaking News! Hillary Clinton wins 2016 Presidential Election.

 

I started at the screen in shock and began thinking there is no way. There is no way my fellow countrymen (and women) would elect someone as tarnished, corrupt, anti constitutional, and power hungry as Hillary. Didn't people watch the presidential debates, and pay attention to all the horrible things she screwed up in her career? How she is a pathological liar and will never stop lying until she gets what she wants. I begin to think back and I can't recall the details of the debates (I still don't know I'm dreaming).

 

My heart rate begins to increase faster and faster and I begin to feel fear. My mind is racing as to how this could have possibly happened. How will this change our country, my life and job, our economy, our Constitution and Bill of Rights? I finally snap out of it and wake up. I sit straight up in bed trying to make sense of what I just experienced. I look over at my wife who was sleeping and I realize its still night. It finally occurs to be that I was having a nightmare and none of it was real. I was drenched in sweat and my heart was still pounding. After a couple minutes I finally laid back down and it took some time before I fell back to sleep.

 

While some of you might laugh at my experience. I have a terrible fear that Hillary will become President of the most powerful nation on Earth. I understand that some people fear Trump becoming President. However, Hillary's political career, lifestyle, and rhetoric has made it perfectly clear to me that she has no respect for our country. It is all about consolidating power and she will do whatever she feels is necessary to keep the power she has, and continuously acquire more.

 

I hope the nightmare I had, does not come true in November. Or else I'm going to have a lot more sleepless nights.

I am not a fan of Trump. I didn't vote for him in my state's primary and did not want him to win the Republican nomination, but if he chooses a good VP candidate I will personally be much more at ease. Either way, a vote against Clinton is a vote against a third Obama term and that is something that we desperately need.

And the history lesson is questionable too. The South was much more reliant on slaves, which was definitely at least part of their motivation to keep them. There may have been a tendency for Southerns to be more racist, but it wasn't just as simple as that. In time, they likely would've ended slavery on their own. But, the North (Republicans) thought their morals and political corrected overrode state autonomy. Kind of like the Democrats now think with some of their issues like LGBT rights, etc. They can't wait for states to slowly change, it has to be the whole nation asap. Luckily for them, the Republicans already set the precedence in the civil war that great moral issues > state autonomy.

Republicans understand that the Constitution provides equal rights to all American citizens... we don't need your special interests, nor will we allow you to distort the language in order to destroy our way of life. It is not racist or xenophobic to enforce immigration law, or create a safe and sovereign nation. Only Socialists believe Capitalism is evil. Not really, no. Is the USA currently still important, dare I say still the preeminent power house (military and economic)? Yes, of course. But that is still a long, long, way off from being the most valuable thing ever produced.

The world economy would probably be led by whichever country (or group thereof) would hold the primary position of power, non? Apart from that it is impossible to predict or claim that it would be better or worse off than where it is today. Such guesswork is futile either way.
