Trump LITERALLY wants to ban an entire religious group from entering the country. He hates america, and if you support him so do you.

Typical republican, assuming I'm a democrat. And while I do support universal healthcare and SUBSIDIZED (Read: Not free) college, I never once brought it up, and I never once said that not supporting those things means you shouldn't be protected by the ARMY. If you paid more attention to what I wrote, and not what your brain overlayed onto the screen, it say's this... "Pay your taxes, and the government will make roads and keep a well regulated Army for defense".

I LITERALLY want Congress to designate Islam as a form of Government, and not a religion... that would take care of the entire problem.

 

We declared independence from our Mother England due to taxation without representation, and if it wasn't for France, that sacrificed their entire Monarchy to help us, King George would have kicked our ass... the Catholic/Protestant fight was a side benefit. Ask the Mormons about religious freedom... they LITERALLY had to create their own state to get people off their ass. If you knew anything about the history of this land, you would know.

While I don't agree with a $15 minimum wage, I've been under the assumption that these fast food places will still have employees to cook the food and clean the restaurant, as well as the drive-thru. I can see how the kiosk would eliminate the cashier, but I haven't really figured out how these places are going to rid themselves of other workers.

Minimum wage should be Living wage, this offcourse varies with the place of residence. And the same way that jobs go to low-wage countries so could they go to low-wage states if implementation is to skewed.

I responded to this last night when you replied, but the forum was magically taken down before I was able to post.

 

There will be Managers and Assistant Managers to ensure the machines are stocked, working, and cash is banked. Customer satisfaction will be all that matters. Machines don't quit, don't take vacations, don't steal, don't file law suits, and don't need healthcare. Just when the Progressives believe they have Capitalists on the ropes, they suddenly discover they are only beating the shit out of themselves.

 

I'm stepping back for awhile to see what happens... I'm a strong believer in the 1st Amendment.

Firstly, Trump doesn't believe in the constitution one bit. There is one thing that underwrites the constitution without it it means nothing. It is more important than any "amendment" of bill of rights. 

 

It is Rule of Law. 

 

And Trump doesn't believe in the Rule of Law-we have seen that during his campaign. From day 1 when he wanted to start freezing assets without trial, to declaring he would force generals to obey orders he lacked the legal power to give. 

 

If a government doesn't respect rule of law then all of the rest of it is just paper that you can use to start the inevitable bonfire. 

 

Also Trump has declared himself anti-freedom of speech with his statement he wants to turn parts of the internet off (which isn't technically feasible, but the sentiment is concerning). 

 

So it all looks great for the constitution if Trump wins.

 

Secondly America is not the most valuable thing ever. At this point in time it is the world's largest economy, but in the grand sweep of history I will take the design of the World Wide Web, done in an office at CERN, as the most valuable thing ever.

I do know he will build the wall that Congress passed and George W. signed into law in 2006... but was never funded. He will enforce our immigration laws, which have been totally ignored. He will rebuild our military, which means fat contracts, lots of high paying jobs, and Unions love that. He will create more options for investors to make money... The Federal Reserve has shackled the rate to zero for Obama's entire Presidency... this artificially props up the Stock Market so stupid people think we're doing well. He will renegotiate trade deals, and I'm sure all his friends can't wait to build companies to make things again.

 

He will destroy ISIS. He will sign balanced budgets. He will stop wasting money all around the world. He will shut down all this insanity about the fake global warming sham. He will tap all sources of energy. He will remove all Government indoctrination from our public schools. He will protect our Constitution. He will protect our right to bear arms... and most satisfying... he will prosecute every fucking Obama criminal from Eric Holder to Hillary Clinton.

I've said it before, I'm going to say it again. I definitely cannot vote for a Democrat (take your pick, Killary or Bernie. One's a liar, the other will tax me, a fairly well educated person with a job, to death to provide to others "who are not as well off". Not my fault they didn't work their asses off in college to get a masters degree in engineering and a job. They made their choices, I made mine, now everyone has to live with them).

I don't like Trump, could be potentially brought over based on who his VP pick is. I don't think the first and second amendments to the Constitution will be in nearly as much jeopardy with him as President, compared to Hillary.

I will most likely be voting third party, again. Don't remember the last time I voted for a Democrat or Republican in the presidential election. I disliked Obama's policies. Might have been able to vote for McCain way back when, then he chose Palin as his VP, who came off as bat shit insane to me, killed any chance I would vote for him. Second round, again disliked Obama's policies. I don't remember what it was about Romney, but I disliked him almost as much.

This time, literally just looked on Wikipedia to see who the Green Party and Libertarians are putting up. At least there, it looks like the Libertarian front runner is Gary Johnson, former governor of New Mexico. Looks like I've got some research to do.

Look for Gary Johnson to become a major player after nominations have been determined. If he can share the debate stage with Clinton and Trump, it could possibly show enough contrast to make a difference. He would demonstrate sanity within a cesspool of negativity. If he polls strong enough, we may see a strong shift and possibly a new direction... but the main objective must remain to defeat Hillary Clinton.

Well, in reality, I really don't care about specifics. All I want from a candidate is to know what he wants to do. That will tell me what I need to know. How much of it he is able to actually get done... is his problem, and will obviously be key to his reelection. The only reason you want to know is so you can pick it apart and hammer him with gotcha questions... but I can tell you how I would do it.

 

Enforcing Immigration Laws: You tell Attorney General Chris Christie to enforce the immigration laws... done.

 

Rebuild the Military: Do what Ronald Reagan did and issue Government contracts to rebuild the military... done

 

Create options for investors: Allow the Federal Reserve to increase the rate so our currency is worth more than paper... done

 

Renegotiate Trade Deals: Uh duh... you renegotiate the trade deals to benefit the USA... done

 

Destroy ISIS: Ask General David Patraeus to come to the Oval Office.

President Trump: "Thank you for coming General... Can you beat ISIS?"

Sign Balanced Budgets: Refuse to sign budgets that do not balance... done

You do know that the Federal Reserve, as so do many other national and pan-national financial institutions, keep a low interest rate is cause if is was pure market regulated, we would all be paying the banks to stash our cash (aka negative interest). Only certain govs are enjoying the "real market" numbers, some nort-west european nations are giving out bonds with negative interest rates, AND THEY ARE BEING SOLD!

The only one I had heard about was Japan. Hadn't heard how well the bonds were selling, just that Japan now had negative interest rates.
