Have to end post now...trying not to post novels anymore
*Speaking strictly as Sister Midnight, and not relevant to the game, I just have to say that this one self-realization and resulting decision to change behaviors on Rhizo's part struck me as so sexy that I had to take a moment to compose myself and cool down. I don't know why Rhizo effects me like this, it alarms me slightly. Now back to playing Mafia.*
Right, this is only me second full game, but I understand both sides of the argument on a first day vote, and my problem with a no vote is it just effectively makes the first day longer with no additional evidence about anyone, so no vote seems ultimately pointless... Unless there are night actions taken at the end of day, which will result in at least one murder, and whatever investigators uncover, in which case not voting does make some sense. Can someone refresh me on what happens on the night of a no vote, and also has anyone seen me frog? Cheerio.
In the event of a no lynch, the town kills no one. Scum still get to kill a townie. So basically, we are going to be down 1 townie instead of gambling on being down 2 townies or 1scum/1town, which I have yet to see the latter.
We could, like in my past 2 games, lynch someone D1. However, it seems to backfire. It provides little to no relevant information. It doesn't provide much information regarding voting patterns because it's D1. Scum doesn't really have to try to form a wagon this early, they kind of just form themselves. Least that's my perception from past games (someone correct me if I'm wrong.) You more likely would just have a lynch wagon full of townies on D1.
I do believe if we lynch, it has to be someone that could provide information (whether town or scum.) With the amount of joke posts, HP references, and absolutely no information on anyone in my opinion, I think D1 on this game should be no lynch. We just wouldn't gather anything from it. Back to my original statement a few posts ago, we gain more information by analyzing who the scum targets.
We can't just randomly vote for people, but we need to start pushing buttons. Testing people now, questioning their motives, their reasoning. By doing this, we at least would have some reactions to go off of. The only problem would be if scum is setting up someone with a kill or genuinely kill someone for raising too many questions.
- Rhizo - no more walls?? Trump would be disappointed.
-AbT- judging by the roles that exist in the game from TW'S first post, I'd guess around 5. He lists a lot of Mafia roles, so I'd imagine a Mafia heavy game. Can someone figure out the math on what would be most likely?
