I think TW has replacements for if people can't.  Hopefully Merrdin will continue, but we'll wait to see.

 

Good at least they didn't hit a PR.  Need to start pressuring people.  Haven't given this game as much time as I'd like so far, will look back through D1 hopefully soon, but what I skimmed, I saw mostly movie quotes.  We can't keep reciting quotes or we will get no where.

My first thought was actually "Why CoD?"

We have a mixture of experienced and new players this game and I figured one of the better players (Samus, Rhizo, AbT, etc) would be the first lynch.
No offense to CoD if he's lurking, he is a good player. Scum just had better targets.
I'm with Rhizo on we have to start pressuring. I have a feeling scum has at least 1 new player in it just by the volume of new players in this game. I would say we shouldn't pressure the new guys first because it's hard to tell if they are acting scummy or just noob-like, but if someone can do the math to see how many mislynches we can risk, it may be a good start. (I don't know how to figure the numbers out.)

Alright, there are few things to address.

 

1. KH / Finster - let's find some real problems to solve rather than imaginary ones. X-shot SK may or may not exist and what's more, we have virtually no tools to determine that. So unless he shows up killing someone I suggest we focus on finding mafia because I can assure you, they exist.

 

Also since you've asked for numbers. Due to no-lynch last night we can make 2 more mistakes (if there are 4 scums) or 3 (if there are 3 scums).

 

2. Lego, please no joke votes on D2...unless I'm mistaken and you know what you're doing. Then by all means go ahead with your prosecution.

 

3. KevinH, while I agree with putting some pressure on Mazuurek (he's clearly lurking) voting on people with the least votes is not a tactic that will bring us victory. Honestly I don't understand why haven't we lynched lurker on D1 (which is ideal for lynching lurkers)...but now on D2 when we're supposed to have more information you're gunning for inactives.

 

4. ISoc, thanks for the recognition, even if I don't feel like I deserve it after my last game. I also wonder how many people that share your opinion visited me last night, looking for blood.

There might be different hypothesis why this and not that player was killed, but unfortunately they won't get us far (because there happen to be contradicting hypothesis that are equally probable). While I won't get that far to suggest, you're suggesting something but I have question for you. Why do you say no-lynch on D1 is a pro-town move? What's pro-town in voting on noone and thus not having any obligation to explain ones decisions (It's not a scum move, but why pro-town?)?

I'm not really saying a no-lynch is pro-town. I actually think it provides less information than a lynch. I'm saying that some people will hide under this and say it's a pro-town move, and act like since they're voting no-lynch on d1 than "surely they can't be scum." Scum will follow the flow of the town, well at least an good/experience scum.

 

The town wants info and the scum always want more town gone. This can both be done by lynching. However, scum can't be too pushy for it, and they have to blend in. I'm thinking there is one scum within on the no-lynch wagon.

King Hitler - awarded Townie of the Year by IRON Times 3 years running.
Finster Baby - I'm leaning towards townie. There isn't much information on D2 and Finister seems to be trying to at least find something
Myrrdin Emrys - I'd like to wait to see the verdict on if he's replaced or not before we get some judgement here.
iSocialism - seems more active than past games. Might be a new play style. I doubt he'd get more active as scum as his usual Turtley strategy seems to do good for him.
legoboyvdlp - about mid way here. New player so mistakes are expected but at the beginning he got really defensive when SM joke voted for him. Keep an eye on this.
Lyner - can't really make a judgement yet.
KevinH - obvious scum for stealing my name. On a real note, kind of half and half. Doesn't seem to post anything with weight, just sort of floats around in my opinion. May be trying to avoid suspicion, but I haven't played with him enough to know if it's his playstyle or not.
Wolfpacks - new player if im correct (I've never played with him.) Hasn't made too many mistakes which is coming off kind of surprising.
Samus - Alive d2? Obvious scum.
Ali bin Turban - seems to be trying to help town
Sister Midnight - has just quoted HP in my opinion. Also was on the no lynch vote (one of the 5 is possibly scum, and yes I'm on the wagon too.) I feel SM is coming off the most scum-like out of the new players.
Rafay - playing like Rafay does, not much to go off of.
Rhizoctonia - I think his unfamiliarity with HP references is making him somewhat back off from being super active like usual. Townie feel with what little he's posted so far.
Mazuurek - can't really make an opinion on him yet.

Hard to say who is who right now based on how little information we have, and how close to the vest everyone seems to be playing things in this game.

ABT: Just speculating on SK. You're right about it not mattering much.

I'd really like to know who may have information based on night actions. I have nothing to add, unfortunately. That may change down the road.

Now I need to decide whether or not I want to register an Animagus or not.
