now I'm getting confused. I want Rafay out because he serves no purpose but Samus is right, you can't just lynch someone based on inactivity, and we know for sure scum won't kill Rafay because they know he isn't helping the town. And Kevin also seems like a good choice but I don't want to keep flip flopping between people. If I vote Kevin it would be changing my vote 3 times in 1 Mafia day

As Ali said, (and I'm paraphrasing) I can have Rafay another day if he continues to not help the town.

So it seems people are making easy choice, most probably depriving town of a chance to analyze the wagon. I can see it now - if he turns out town main explanation will be "he deserved it / he brought it on himself". And while that will be somewhat true, it does not change the fact that the price will be 1 misslynch and a lost day.
Since there are 4 people on that wagon on whom I've feelings ranging from suspicion up to scum feelings...if Rafay surprisingly turns out scum it will also mean I was quite a fool.

Second in line is KevinH - someone who is voted on everytime he plays...and rightfully so, because he's not useful at all to the town when he has no PR, due to his (to say lightly) odd ways to vote. He was already voted for this in the last game (luckily for him he got a PR that saved his hide), he would have been voted in the CN game because he was pressing town to losing a game, but again luckily for him he was confirmed Miller. Now he's voted on again and while he is a shady person this game (especially due to his distractions and pressing on voting others while staying on the sideline), yet noone is defending him....unless such defense is achieved by mass pilling on a Rafay.

Anyway...12 people on the wagons of those two...so let's not kid ourselves, the ultimate choice of who is lynched is in the hands of scum. Who will be lynched I wonder?

In case I don't manage to post before the end of a day and die at night, my suspect list is:
Lego, Finster, KevinH, 1ceCream, Lyner, Samus (last two are conditionally - if Lego is indeed town they're clear).

You're right about the excuse they will make if Rafay comes up town....easy way to swindle their way out of looking suspicious. For which I wil tell them, no, actually he could be replaced for someone else. Samus is right about that.

They're not defending Kevin because he's likely a sinking ship. They know if Rafay comes up town he will be target #1, so instead of looking to defend him or needing to, they're powering home a lynch and at least giving Kevin an extra day. The quick succession of votes makes it more obvious when Kevin was gaining some heat.

3 on your list I can agree with...but Samus's belief as I do that Lego is town, and him being outspoken against Rafay vote puts him pretty high on my Town list, and Lyner bringing up Lego's role claim has put him up on town list for me too. Know you feel differently though

Kinda funny how in 30 minutes from making his vote on Rafy, Finster has found out "compelling evidence to vote for KevinH" even though nothing was told about KevinH in that time (except for what I wrote, which was nothing new too)...while everything that was told was about scums voting on Rafay.

I've actually almost cleared Lego from my scum list. His D1 shenanigans have been made up by a solid D2, so I'm about 85% certain he's town, therefore off my list.

Ali tho is firmly on it. D34th is as well, going back again to his "declaration" from D1 - the only way he could make said declaration is to be scum, then when he was caught he didn't defend himself well.

KevinH I'm truly torn about. He befuddles me with his tactics (But that's not really hard with me.) But as I re-read his posts today I'm pretty sure that I may be voting for him, as I'm getting a scum vibe from him, coupled with what Samus and Rhizo have said about him.

Wolfpacks has made it on my scum list as well. He's quiet for the most part, then comes in with a vote for Mazuurek out of left field. What's up with that?

Funny how you seem to twist everything I say around to meet your needs. Rhizo's and Samus' posts hold more water with me than anything you're saying right now.

Maybe Samus is right that you should meet an untimely end. Pity we can't get THAT bandwagon going.

Maybe I was wrong about voting an inactive. Rhizo is right that D1 is the time to lynch inactives, and I'd also agree that we have scum on the Rafay wagon trying to a) save Kevin and make a mislynch. Problem is we hadn't much to go on today...

 

I cannot add anything to what everyone has said about KevinH, so...

Sorry, I needed to take some time away from the game.  The voting has my head spinning!

 

I don't know who to vote for.  My gut says Lego isn't scum, mostly because of his most recent posts.

 

I don't know who to vote for to be honest.  I really have no clue at all.    I have nothing to add to the conversation, and that is very irritating to me.  I'm leaning towards switching back to Rafay simply because of his game style.  The lurking is too one of the scummiest things I have to work with.  Do I think he's scum?  IDK, maybe.  With the lurking he seems the most likely.  Kevin, on the other hand is not acting like himself.  I don't know his style that well, but I get a different vibe than I have from past games.

Addendum. Ok, I gave it some more thought.  I'm not convinced at all that Kev is scum.  I have no idea if Rafay is town because he has given me nothing to think about.

Remember this in future games when the "scum-hunters" think they know so much, but they don't.

 

Fact: Day 1 lynches are bad.  

We didn't lynch on Day 1 and that's good.

Yet the "evidence" against me is that I voted for no-lynch but pointed out inactivity by Rafay.

 

Fact: The town needs to start lynching Day 2.  

Investigations have happened so there's a bit of an invisible hand helping the town make a better choice.

If all the players are active, then the town takes a chance and hopes to get lucky.

 

Fact: Rafay has the same odds of being scum as anyone else.  He might be town but if so his vote might not be there when needed.  The fact that a few are defending him makes me think he has a greater chance to be scum.

 

It's an obvious choice, but half of you are not making it.

 

Time to role claim.  I'm Professor Sprout, a Hogwarts Tracker.  Night 1 I tracked Sister Midnight and I didn't see anything.

 

Believe me?  If not, you will.  And look to those that claim to see a "difference" in my play style.  You'll probably find your scum there.

Well for what it is worth, I didn't do anything last night in the game, I did plenty in real life, but...  So with that said, I strongly suggest not lynching  Kevin.  That is a believable role claim.
