The idea of war is not to die for your country, it's to make the enemy die for his.

Time to crack down on Islamism, hard. It has to be a joint effort of Muslims and non-Muslims.

Death toll was upped to 22.
From what we know so far, the bomber waited until the concert had almost ended and then detonated his explosive device at the building's foyer as the guests were leaving. I've been watching a few videos of the incident. Most of them are inside the theater and you can hear the bomb detonate. Definitely not a place you want to be near as everyone gets funneled into one area, and then a stampede runs away from it. I don't know what is worse, being killed instantly with a bomb, or being trampled to death by a human wave.

its just sad and pathetic that people are actually raised and conditioned to think that murdering and injuring scores of innocent people, including children, is the will of god. The entire world needs to come together and end this crisis. As long as the left is crying about being politically correct and getting offended every other second of the day, and needing to be SJWs, we are never going to solve this. As a people around the world, we have to understand that "feelings" might get hurt. Id rather racially profile and hurt the feelings of every innocent Muslim man and woman on earth than have one single innocent person be murdered. It sucks where we live in a world where people are going to be offended and racially profiled, but something tells me every single one of them would take being racially profiled and offended than having their own child get murdered

They need to start cracking down ASAP. Start with the hate preachers. The sermons have to be authorised by Govt. Those already in jails should be sent to solitary confinements. Stop letting people exploit free speech to spread hatred. They can monitor everything on internet, vpn, no vpn whatever, start knocking out all forms of propaganda, why the fuck does Twitter/FB even allow terrorist sympathisers/accounts...why the fuck arent they banned? Stop dissemination of the wrong message.
Deport those who dont like the constitution, preferably south pole, no one would want the scum back anyway.
Stop ghettoisation and/or localisation of towns and cities, no integration = bubye.

The bomber was 22 yrs old, born and raised in Manchester. His parents have described themselves as devout Muslims, but staunchly opposed to ISIS, and extremism, and are shocked that their son did this.
Think the main question that needs to be asked now is how did he make or acquire the device...

Food for thought.

Two major attacks in 2015, three in 2016, now we're one into 2017. "Only" 22 dead, when compared to almost 140 in 2015 in Paris. My bet is nothing will happen. We'll see some general statements and everything will be back to "normal" until the next attack. And then after several more attacks, when the line is crossed we'll witness unjust society's overreaction. And that's because politics don't have balls big enough to act.

There should be, and I expect, more action over this... it targeted children. I strongly believe a line has been crossed.

We're witnessing the "Pluralization of technology", by which pundits mean that fairly complex technological solutions have become accessible to anyone with a few $-s in their pockets. Unfortunately this also applies to destructive technology, like bombs. Today, simply anyone that wants to make a bomb, can. Materials are easy to acquire and the know-how is only a few clicks away on the Internet. Unfortunately as technology continues to progress, the "entry level" for more and more destructive technologies will also keep coming down. Soon anyone will be able to assemble their own homemade WMDs, and then we're truly fucked.

We've crossed so many lines I've lost count, yet action is happening at a painstakingly slow pace. I wouldn't hold my breath.

Another sad chapter has been added to the story of society's reclusive people motivated by thoughts of bygone era.

He's maintaining his son is innocent as well. Not sure how to feel about that. Maybe he's in denial.

Where's your source for that? He's quoted in the evening express as saying "We don't believe in killing innocents. This is not us. We aren’t the ones who blow up ourselves among innocents. We go to mosques. We recite Koran, but not that.” As for his activities in Libya, the same newspaper reports that he was a security officer under gadaffi, but fled after being accused of passing information to opposition Islamist groups.
He's maintaining his son is innocent as well. Not sure how to feel about that. Maybe he's in denial.
That particular part was from the Hungarian Press Service, so It wouldn't do any good if I linked it, and I can't find it in a foreign source yet. It's probably additional information to the sentence that you've cited about him being a security officer who covertly forth for another Islamist group.
