[MK-2] Friends and Enemies Mafia - Mafia Win

Friends And Enemies

The Game is a open setup consisting of 13 players with 3 Mafia, 3 Town Masons and 7 Townies.

Sample Role PM said:

You are a Vanilla Townie. Your power is in your vote.

Win Condition:

You win when all threats to town have been eliminated.

Players

  • Rafay
  • SeaBeeGipson
  • KevinH, Vanilla Townie, has been lynched on Day 3.
  • The Warrior, Vanilla Townie, has been lynched on Day 6.
  • vgmmaster, Vanilla Townie, went missing on Night 1.
  • LordSunday, Mafia Goon, has been lynched on Day 2.
  • FS108, Vanilla Townie, has been lynched on Day 1.
  • Lyner, Vanilla Townie, was killed on Night 5.
  • King Cankles,Vanilla Townie, has been killed on Night 4.
  • Canik, Vanilla Townie, has been found dead on Night 2.
  • Kitkat16, Vanilla Townie, has been lynched on Day 4.
  • iSocialism, Mafia Goon, has been mid kikked on Day 3.
  • Rhizoctonia, Vanilla Townie, has been murdered on Night 3.
Rules

  • During the Day phase each player may speak and vote in-thread.
  • If a player receives the majority of the available votes during the Day, they are lynched.
  • At deadline, a player with half-majority will be lynched.
  • If two players have reached half-majority and have the same number of votes, the player who reached that number of votes first will be lynched.
  • You may vote No Lynch.
  • After the Day, the game goes to Night.
  • The game thread is closed during the Night. The Mafia and The Masons may speak to each other at Night.
  • All Active Roles may submit actions via PM at Night.
  • The Mafia can, as a faction, kill one player at Night.
  • After the Night, the game goes to Day.
  • All dead players (lynched or killed) can no longer participate in the game.
  • Basic rules for maintaining the integrity of the game thread are in effect (i.e. players may not quote their Role PMs, nor may they discuss the game outside the game thread unless otherwise permitted, etc.)
  • The game is won when only one faction remains in the game.
  • You may pm me questions or ask them in the game thread but you may not get an answer to some things.
  • When voting, please enter your vote on a separate line of your post so that it isn't easily missed.
  • Active Participation Rule:

All live players must make a minimum of 4 posts in the game thread per game day. Any player who does not meet the 4 post minimum on a given day will be subject to being mod-killed unless a legitimate reason for the lack of posting is communicated privately to the game mod. (In the event that something comes up that will prevent you from playing actively, please alert the mod so that a potential replacement can be found.) If multiple players have not met the post minimum on a given day, the player with the fewest overall posts will be mod-killed.

Game Days will last as many real-life days as there are players alive, though the day lasts for a minimum of 7 days at all times.

Game Nights will last 48 hours but will include at least one weekday.

ok, it seems ferastical is unreachable, so i am activating SeaBeeGipson as backup.

If Ferastical doesn't post at least one in 3 hours, the backup will be final and SBG will receive the role of whatever role ferastical had.

and clarification, the mod kill target in case more than one person is below 4 posts, will be the one with less posts.

If more than one person shares the low count place, then the player whose last post was the most further from deadline will be killed.

King Cankles was the last one on FS's wagon. Forgive me if I doubt he's scum.

Rhizo was not on the FS wagon and has been quiet.

Vote: Rhizo.

May change vote if you start talking.

Well you come off a bit defending KC on this one. Being the last one really means nothing, as he wasn't the hammer vote anyway, nor was he the vote # that mattered the most. He was #5, #4 vote was technically the kill vote(LS), as that was what was needed by deadline. His vote, in theory meant nothing, FS108 was already going to be lynched by the time he voted, him not voting at all would have made him look worse.

2 of your posts today have been literally a sentence long, that said the same thing. "I'm suspicious of TW because TW is suspicious of me." Which in of itself is a terrible reason to be suspicious of someone, it's the same as voting someone because they voted you. I thought it was odd when you said it the first time, and you have sense repeated the same thing. If you want to start talking about posts count....i guess I could just copy and repaste the same comments I've said today to suddenly up my post count.

So, now 2 of your posts are the same thing, and then a 3rd post is,

I'd love to say something insightful, but there's nothing to go on.

Wow, so helpful lol! I'll make sure to up my post counts from this point on randomly posting things of no importance to do so.

Let alone, you were advocating the lynch of FS108 while not being on the wagon and too scared to be the hammer vote for which you wouldn't even been.

We still have about a week til deadline, I'm not overly worried that people with 6 days left wont reach the 4 posts needed, outside of Ferastical who has yet to post. That's worrisome, as he's already been pinged a day or so ago and nothing. That also puts something else into play...and that's do we want to risk killing two people today if Ferastical doesn't reach it by next Friday? I certainly don't want to lose two town today if we lynch wrong and Ferastical is town as well...but I also think what do we gain from not lynching and solely letting Ferastical die...then there's not anything new to go off of. Scum would enjoy a 2 dead townies in one day with a lynch that night.

@MK - When is the point you'll look to replace him if he doesn't come back?

What I also find funny is now two people have thrown shade on me for me being quiet. Both Rafay (Who I voted D1 for), and Kitkat. Yet, LS, has the same amount of posts as I do today, and both LS and I last posted on the same day a few hours apart. Kinda weird you both do not mention him.

People want to throw around votes, I'll start with mine

Vote: Lordsunday

For being the important #4 on the lynch of a townie, and being "quiet." Don't worry, I'll call LS out for Rafay and Kitkat, since they both seem to want to overlook him.

My point exactly.

LordSunday! Wake your ass up son. You're usually super scum-hunty when you're town! (then again it ha to do with real life blah blah) but I'm missing your lengthy post that makes a lot of sense!

@Lyner, kinda dodged my question there buddy :)

And @Canik: I'm still a bit clueless as to why you two have votes on me. Not much reason, if any. I was poked, I defended, move on to the next target.

Vote: LordSunday

Bring that ass here.

I am going to place a FOS on LordSunday as well. He could very well be busy but I have sort of received a different vibe from him so far here than his last two games as well.

@King Cankles - I'm not terribly thrilled with your response above either. Simply responding to a poke isn't enough. Town should be actively scum hunting. Period.

Vote: SBG

Welcome, SBG! Now get to talking! :)

Vote Lyner.

Gotta come in guns blazing ya know?

Anyway

I have yet to read the full context of everyone's post but my theory is that scum would stay near the required post limit to avoid being mod killed and avoid overloading that would leave openings for us to find them.

I also haven't had much chance to look at last night's lynch wagon just yet. But I'm sure we have 1-2 scum sitting on it

FS108 (4): Lyner, The Warrior, vgmmaster, LordSunday

Lyner (2): iSocialism, Ferastical

vgmmaster (2): Rafay, KevinH

Rafay (2): Canik, Rhizoctonia

Canik (1): Kitkat16

Lyner's vote on FS108 had to stay because he had 2 votes himself.

I would have expected Rafay to switch away from vgmmaster onto one of the others to save himself.

The town had to lynch somebody so I don't hold anything against LordSunday for the 4th vote.

The Warrior had an early vote on  a now-known townie and kept it there as he was soon to be lynched.  That might be suspicious.

Vote: Ferastical

He's tied with Lyner for having the fewest posts all game.

My gut feeling is that the scum let the townies lynch their own.

The good news is that all the masons are still alive.

If Ferastical could be scum, thenn so could SeaBeeGipson replacing him.

Vote: SeaBeeGipson

Rhizo made long posts on D1 and has been quiet. Ferastical has said nothing this day.

How about instead of voting for Ferastical we vote for other ppl to get them talking as Ferastical will already get auto-lynched.

Sure, now where is your vote Rafay?

Good to see you post SBG. Look forward to seeing some scum hunting from you soon! :)

@ iSoc - I like the KC vote. Though you would know I'd like it. So still got my eye on you.

Regarding a lynch plus a mod-kill, I don't think it's necessarily bad.

We are not going to get any additional information so we need to get lucky with our lynches before the scum pick us off.

The mod-kill just reduces the total number of players but the idea of lynching scum before they pick us off remains constant.

Happy to be here. I honestly am trying to read this while at work, but Mondays man. I'm hoping to be able to contribute more before deadline. Especially starting the day late with the 4 post limit. A mod-kill would SUCK!

Anyway, more to follow at 11.

Back to you Jane.

My top 3 suspects:

KC – Did an FoS, waited for someone else to vote, then
jumped on the lynch. A lot of ‘filler’ comments.

Lyner – His posts draw a lot of suspicion to me. He was
first on a townie lynch. He mentioned KevinH being aggressive (isn’t scum
hunting what we’re suppose to do?)

KitKat – A lot of posts about how he has nothing to add, his
comments at the end of Day 1 have really made me think he may be scum and TW
was the only one to draw attention to this, from my reading. Everyone else
shrugged it off.

Worth noting, Both KitKat and Lyner have staged votes or FoS
on KC. These are my 3 top suspected. I doubt scum would be pushing for their
own lynch this early on. I suspect one of the 3 are scum. I’m more leaning
towards Lyner at this moment.

He seems to be sitting in the middle of post counts as well.

I'll be keeping my vote on Lyner.

The mod-kill just reduces the total number of players but the idea of lynching scum before they pick us off remains constant.

Your conclusion is sound but your reasoning is off. A mod-kill would indeed reduce the player pool but losing someone for nothing does not help the town unless that someone who is mod-killed is indeed a scum. Anything short of that only hurts the town because 1) that person should have been contributing to the scum hunt anyway, 2) that person could have forced others to contribute by contributing, and obviously 3) we are down another townie.

Town members should be posting or asking to be replaced if they aren't capable of posting.

@LordSunday - Where are you mate? Would really appreciate your thoughts.

@Rhizoctonia - I'd like to hear more from you too. Any further thoughts?

... unless that someone who is mod-killed is indeed a scum.

... and who's to say that they are not scum?

Granted, I would rather have active players and have the game play out with lynches and scum-kills.

My point was that we should not no-lynch just because someone is getting mod-killed.

I've made note who I was suspicious of.

I voted Rafay, and already pointed out he conveniently didn't mention LS who had same amount of posts and same amount of time we both hadn't posted.  Maybe he's upset he got my vote D1.

Then you have Kitkat, who did the same, and I pointed out other things that come off suspicious to me.  He calls me out, and it's been 2 days since I responded and look who hasn't posted since.

LS - Inactive, but saw that he was back today on discord, so I expect he should be posting soon or he needs replaced as well.

TW - You as I pointed out were overly defensive of a minor point of Kevin's.  You also seemingly want to act as if you're scum hunting, trying to call everyone out, yet you vote Ferrastcal for being inactive, then you switch to LS.  Also apart of the lynch of FS108.  You seem to want to only commit to the inactives

Isocialism - Just came with a vote of KC without any explanation...the only thing I can go on is his earlier response about putting 3 votes on people and see how people react so could be him just putting a third on KC.

I'd say anyone at risk of being mod killed probably isn't scum, actually.

I haven't posted because I haven't had anything to say. I check this thread about 2-3 times a day (not as active as I was before I went on CN-holiday, but still active enough.) If I had posted to say that I had nothing to say, I would simply have been accused of being scummy (I can provide numerous examples from this thread to prove it.)

It could be a very big deal if we mislynch and a mod kills a town, and scum get a kill tonight.

We're currently 8 town - 3 scum.  If we mislynch and LS is mod killed and is town, that means we start tomorrow 5 town - 3 scum, and we mislynch it's over.  If we only let mod kill, and if LS is town, we come back 6 Town - 3 scum, where if we mislynch again, we technically aren't out of it.

I'd say anyone at risk of being mod killed probably isn't scum, actually.

You see, this is precisely why I didn't want to reply to your post or comment at all: I *KNEW* you would turn it into fodder to attack me, as I even alluded to in the post you quoted.

Continue to get those post numbers up presenting absolutely nothing.  I'm glad you alluded to something I already called you out for 2 days ago.  And yet you continue the same
