The only way the plan wouldn't be real dumb is if Kitkat is scum and the two he said are his allies are town. That way we waste time on them, possibly lynch them, after we discovered Kitkat was indeed scum.

At this point I'd say lynch either Rafay or GoldIron. GoldIron is new and has made only two posts. But it is his first game. On the other hand doesn't Rafay do this every game? So maybe Rafay might be a better choice? Not sure...

Someone that inactive is better off lynched. My previous vote was on Lachiton, but I think the reason Lach is going after me is not that he is scum but that he has assumptions about me from the last mafia game. [But for the record bro just because I was scum last time doesn't mean that I'm a million times more likely than anyone else in this game to be scum and you should really factor that in before you go lynching the wrong guy. Just sayin'.] But I got the better of him last time  (among my many other virtues I am gracious in victory) so I understand his scepticism.

I was away for a while for like 2 days.

 

My defense: I'm a new player, there no reason I can be a scum. I don't even know why people are saying scum instead of mafia.

Lord MK wouldn't just give a new player a difficult role to play.

 

I'll first start off by saying that I was never the biggest fan of lynching inactives in the sense that provided they're town, it gets scum off the hook scot-free. It's also easier to vote an inactive and be able to keep suspiciousness down on the basis that 'it's an inactive townie, he's doing us no good anyways'. While that is true to an extent, and there are times I'm somewhat down with that, I also feel we have better lynch candidates as well this early in the game. That said, with lynching being our only true power as town, if he's not helping town, it's better than a no lynch. Later in the game, nothing lets scum get away easier than inactive townies.

 

Getting to the posts on hand, some of it's already been touched on. The second post is your typical newbie defense. Already been explained multiple times that being new has nothing to do with anything. Although considering how inactive GoldIron has seemingly been inactive as a whole*, I'm reading it more as newbie jitterbugs.

 

The first post was also touched on briefly, but not necessarily GI's role in it (iirc). GI was the third vote in the "impeach Canik" vote train. One could argue this as bandwagoning. There's also the fact it was only hours after Frigid's vote. Even though I kind of gave Frigid crap for it, I don't necessarily think they're connected.

 

OOC - Can anyone attest to how inactive GoldIron has been as a whole? Don't think it's possible to search nations if you don't have one yourself so can't speak to inactivity on that front. I did see he only has 18 posts on the forums though. Can't attest to when his last overall post was with limited forum access.

Presuming GoldIron is replaced by a far more active player then you are probably on my lynch list.

But remember, don't go easy on the replacement, he is just as likely to be scum or town as GoldIron was.
