considering I was being facetious, I dont think we are really going to be duking anything out lol

Reasonable facts/assumptions:

• 12 players are alive
• 3 players are scum
• 9 players are townies
• 4 players voted to lynch a townie on day 1

If only 1 scum voted to lynch, that's a 1/4 chance (25%) on each member of {The Warrior, Lachiton, legoboyvdlp, iSocialism} that they are scum.
But if the other 2 scum did not vote to lynch then from my perspective, it's 2/7 chance (28.6%) of being scum for each of the other players that did not vote to lynch.
(The denominator is 7 because I know that I am not scum and did not vote to lynch).

This is a very good point and furthers my thoughts before about there potentially being two scum on the wagon.

Lachiton:  Hasn't really given off a scummy vibe, but not a super townish one either.  And frigid said he thinks Lach is innocent.  If you saw the accidental PM from frigid, my thoughts on this would make a little more sense.  Basically, either lach is legit innocent and has been cleared by frigid, or lach is scum, and they developed the accidental PM as a ploy to make people think lach is inno.  Basically frigid accidentally says he is investigating lachiton in the group PM chat so everyone can see it, then deletes it to make it look like a mistake, and then says he thinks lachiton is innocent, which in turn would make everyone who saw the mistake think Lachiton is indeed innocent via the results of the investigation, when in fact he is actually scum.  If someone out there is actually the cop and it isnt frigid, then you would be able to verify that that was indeed a ploy, thus making it extremly likely that lachiton and frigid are both scum.  I dont think this hypothetical plan of theirs would be very likely to actually have ahppened though, because it would be a huge risk if there was an actual cop would could easily counter this claim.  However is scum have the cop role, it could be a very strong attempted deception.  So I am suspicious of this, but not enough for a vote or an FoS.

 

Legoboy:  Has acted fairly townish to me so far.  Nothing out of the ordinary in my eyes that screams scum.

 

Isoc.  Was the hammer, and joked about wanting to be the hammer.  Could have used the joking nature to cover the fact he was scum trying to make sure a townie died, and for the most part he has been fairly inactive without contributing much

and back to the frigid lach thing, now that I think of it, if frigid was really inno and accidentally outed himself via the pm, why on earth would the scum have allowed him to live through N1?  It would have been a huge risk, since the scum could have easily gotten a kill on a town power role and eliminated the chance of them being outed via the power role.  Therefore:  FoS both Frigid and Lachiton

Back a bit I suspected Frigid before the whole pm thing. I expected him to die last night as it was fairly obvious he is a PR, and most likely a cop at that. That he didn't is suspicious, but I do not think it is worth lynching a possible cop without concrete evidence. Furthermore, I think he is experienced enough at TOS not to try a reckless stunt like that, to clear a scum partner as it really is quite obvious. If there is another cop here, maybe you can role claim next day, or day 4?


Be advised, though there is no doctor likely as it seems Robert was roleblocked, so make the most of your investigations.

hammer vote on someone who is now known to be a town. Implying that I hammer voted a town is not fully true. Yes, scum are more likely to want a scum lynched, but if someone else does the dirty work they would prefer that much more. Just speculating there, but aren't we all.

​It is speculation but it's some of the best we've got IMO. Though I am getting tempted to switch my vote to TW. For scum if you can get on a wagon at the start with a good reason for it, that's a good place to be. His move would be a more typical, less bold scum play.

Though I am getting tempted to switch my vote to TW. For scum if you can get on a wagon at the start with a good reason for it, that's a good place to be. His move would be a more typical, less bold scum play.

I can speculate all day too, but. But I can tell the truth, why would I join a wagon with one scum already on it. I rather have a no lynch then double stack on a small wagon. I know every time a townie is lynch. The people on that wagon are looked at. Speculation can mislead other players to lynch another town. I rather have evidence. Such as the forming a wagonS. And people picking sides.

Frigid's accidental message to the group had to be a legitimate attempt at submitting a night action and not an attempt to deceive. Using the group game PM as a ploy is against the rules of the game, particularly this one:

 

Basic rules for maintaining the integrity of the game thread are in effect (i.e. players may not quote their Role PMs, nor may they discuss the game outside the game thread unless otherwise permitted, etc.)

 

Therefore, it was most likely a bad mistake. If the term used was "investigate" it likely follows that one of the following is true:

 

-Frigid is a town cop and discovered that Lachiton is indeed townie, thus clearing him.

-Frigid is a scum cop and already knew Lachiton's status. In this case, the comment from Frigid about thinking Lachiton is innocent could be a legit cop giving a legit result, a scum cop giving a real result to associate himself with the town for later in the game, or a scum cop giving a fake result on Lachiton who is also scum in order to hopefully protect him.

-Frigid is a role cop and is making an assumption on Lachiton's status based off of the role returned to him. Although in this game, you can't really make an assumption like this with any certainty since the role could belong to either a town or scum faction.

I am not asking you to role claim officially, but assuming that you are town, I will point out that the town knowing what you know before you die is important.

 

Having said that, if the scum team has access to a roleblocker or jailkeeper role -- they could leave Frigid alive, choose to block his night actions moving forward and go after other townies while simultaneously making Frigid look scummier each day he's alive.

A few things about that.  While you do raise a good point that it would be against the rules, perhaps as a new player he would not have known it was a violation, and as MK previously stated with the Kitkat situation, when we were curious what would have happened if kitkat did violate the rules, MK said he would handle it privately with kitkat.  Therefore i think its safe to assume that if it was a ploy MK would have handled it privately with frigid, thus making it still possible it was a ploy. Of all the people to come to the defense of someone I am suggesting might be scum the first to defend frigid is TW, who is also someone I suggested as scum.  While im sure that is just a coincidence, I do find it interesting.  

A few more thoughts. 

 

if frigid is indeed innocent, TW suggesting Frigid confirm he is indeed the cop would almost ensure his lynch by the mafia. While he is trying to make it look like a friendly suggestion to the town,  TW would be virtually sealing the fate of frigid if he admits it.  That to me is pretty scummy.  Yes Yes I know I was the first one to bring up the PM mistake, but plenty of us saw it, and my intention was to talk about the fact that it might be fake.

 

And if frigid is indeed scum, and therefor would not die at night, TW has also created a reason for why the town should keep frigid alive:  by suggesting that frigid is being role blocked and framed by the scum.  

and also to further my point about TW asking Frigid to confirm he is the cop.  Lets consider frigid for a moment being scum.  He could admit he is the cop, and end up being scum as the cop.  OR perhaps scum has the role of 1-Shot Redirector which in turn would prevent there from being a cop, and frigid could saftly admit it without a potential counter claim.  So even if Frigid is scum, TW has coverage with trying to paint him as town by admitting he is the cop

i wanna quickly mention that since the beginning ive suspected  

also, what was going through my mind as i read what i missed was how tw and robert were switched in the flavor text, making it a "funny coincedence". i cant help but wonder if tw is a rb or scum rb of some sort and just laid out the scums plan? then, if the plan does come to fruition, all the power for TW to point out this again.
