I've checked that everyone's been active on the forums recently, so it seems that's not the case of inactive mafia (obviously there's still possibility someone forgot to log in for 2 days and got on just recently), but rather a good call of the power roles.

 

As I mentioned we got following possibilities:

- Bulletproof: not much we can debate here. We either have a bulletproof townie, or werewolf. Mafia could also target Rafay who per wiki is partially immune to night kills.

- Doctor: also not much to say here.

- Hider: This is an interesting role if present in game. Since it's a weak role it also acts as a cop (if he visits someone who's a scum he dies, if he visits a town, he lives). So currently if present in game, he knows the alignment of 3 town players.

- Roleblocker and Jailkeeper: If we have one and they've used their powers today it's possible (but not 100% sure they've targeted scum).

We can also have a commuter who used his ability last night.

Hider is definitely an interesting role. My suggestion would be to come forward and RC whenever there is a possibility of a mislynch. Since scum cant directly kill you, you're safe and in the process you clear both yourself and another townie. The wiki says that he dies whenever he targets mafia but no mention of werewolf. So I am not sure whether the same happens if he targets werewolf.

with the hider role, this is true, but what if you simply don't know. You take a leap of faith night 1. know they are town and hide there till that townie dies.

Well seems Rafay is outed.  At least we knock down the SK.  SK in my opinion is harder to find because it has no aligning with other people, thus it only cares about killing/lynching anyone, no matter scum or town.  Makes it easier to play more townish, as with scum/werewolves you always have to worry about working as a team, distancing yourself from each other, but also the conundrum of when to sacrifice your own or look to put pressure elsewhere to help another scum.  One can scum hunt easier as a SK because you want them dead just as much town.  So this is very good news

Very likely I'd say a mixture of these is what happened.  If we're down to 1 mafia and 1 SK, it's possible that one of those were inactive during this time to kill someone, but if we're assuming there's 2 werewolves left, I'd assume at least 1 of the 2 would be active enough to make a decision to kill someone (if not both), so safe to say one attempt to kill someone was made last night.  I'd put more faith in roles prevented kills last night though then inactivity.

Commuter is a possible role that prevented a kill as well.  There's a one shot commuter listed, so that's a possibility.  Be interesting to hear from Kevin what he'd do in regards to a Hider had he/if he implemented the role into the game and the hider targeted a werewolf.  Would hider be killed, or would it act the same as if he targeted a town?

As a hider, I would of switched to a RC'ed person following D1 if you believed the RC, especially the likes of Brewers.  Brewers claimed SK immunity, thus SK couldn't kill Brewers resulting in 2 deaths, and Scum/Werewolves wouldn't be that worried to kill Brewers.  Sticking to a lesser important role, or bouncing between a few that scum/werewolves/sk aren't going to likely be bothered to kill is your best bet IMO, or how I'd play it.

Woah!!! I just leave for a couple of hours and suddenly a wagon has formed w/ no proof.

 

The game has devolved into a roleclaim-fest. I wanted to defend myself but I didn't want to roleclaim. 

 

But since it has come to that I'm going to that but I don't know who the SK is.

 

I'm Master Yoda, a town doctor. Last night I saved Samus.

 

On D1 it was Brewsers, on D2 it was Rhizo.

 

That is my defense.

Be interesting to hear from Kevin what he'd do in regards to a Hider had he/if he implemented the role into the game and the hider targeted a werewolf.  Would hider be killed, or would it act the same as if he targeted a town?

 

The Hider will die if he visits Mafia, Werewolf, Alien, or Serial Killer.

The role is described as Weak and Weak page says the player dies "if targeting a mafia-aligned or otherwise anti-Town player".

Well we know for sure either Jazzy or Rafay are lying now. (see Kitkat, we did get some more info without lynching me )

​Right now I am leaning heavily towards Rafay being the liar because Jazzy's claim is very believable and it's hard to see how it'd be worth it for him to lie. Even if a scum rolecop saw Rafay was a doctor.. the scum teams are thinned down they can't afford to kamikazi like that.

​Whereas Rafay, if he is a doctor, it's unfortunate for him because doctor seems like a decent claim for scum to fake. Just list people who are still alive and say you protected them. Might be a bit risky in that the real doctor could counter-claim but a doctor would not want to reveal himself and shouldn't unless it's absolutely necessary.

​If you do have more arguements tho Rafay, we'd like to hear them.

Virtually impossible for Jazzy to come out and lie about his findings, it is. For what, hmm?  To kill a lurker, hmm?. Then die the next day after exposed his lie was?

Why did he even claim the name Yoda in the first place given that we were explicitly told names had nothing to do with our alignment? (i.e. you could have a mafia Yoda)

Haha, reading AbT's post in Yoda's voice was funny as hell.

I was worried too that we got a watchlisted townie instead of SK but I guess Rafay didn't chose to go that route as he knows he's gonna get lynched either way, similar to a case when somebody claims Miller. The risk is too high to not lynch. But whatever role Rafay claims, we will all believe Jazzy as he has much more to lose than gain by going after a lurker. 

So the equation is simple, tiny possibility that Rafay flips town, Jazzy has sealed his fate. But very unlikely to happen. I sincerely hope though we will see more of Rafay now then we saw him the entire game.

So if we lynch Rafay and he’s being truthful, then Ali and Jazzy look like scum/lycan. I don’t see a downside to lynching Rafay given that if he’s innocent we get two anti townies outed. No one else should role claim without a very good reason at this point.
