Honestly though I don't really see the point of really continuing the day just for continuing the day. Rafay is already well and truly buried and nobody is stupid enough to defend him since his only alignment is with himself, because he most likely is the SK. Rafay is the only logical lynch, nobody else is probably going to stick their necks out now to put pressure on other people, because their defense is easy: focus on the dead man Rafay. I honestly believe that if we aren't going to spend the time we have useful anyway, might as well speed up the game, end the day earlier, let the PR's do their things and start a new day with more information. It's pointless to continue the day if nobody is going to participate and not participating is easily detectable. This is not me rushing things, it's keeping it alive for the most part, because I can't see town doing this dance for another week and a half.

Um, some people are saying AbT is confirmed town now. Unless I'm missing something he's only confirmed 1-shot reloader at the moment. But yes, he is very likely town.

Rafay is now at L-1. I do not want to see the day end yet because I am waiting on clarification to a question that I asked Kevin. I am going to unvote for right now until I get an answer from the mod.

For the record: I will be re-voting for Rafay today because I believe he is the serial killer and needs to go. My unvote is only temporary to keep the day from ending before Kevin responds.

You can always gain more information via a longer day phase. It cannot hurt the town by continuing a day phase. The only reason to do it faster if we are sure he's the Last scum. hence to finish the game. Sure, power roles are going to gather info a night. Not all townies have power roles, and your assuming there are multiple power townies. Could entirely be a miss and we are back to square 1 when we could gather a little more information to help in the following days. But alas, you've pushed other people, and kit kat and brewer just went with it in a rather lazily way. Kit Kat didn't even put words into his post. Me and TW's words must of fallen on deaf ears.

And now for the reason I didn't want the day to end early. I am General Leia Organa, a Town Cop.

 

In this game my role would return a "Guilty" result to me on an investigation of a player that is mafia aligned and "Not Guilty" to anyone who is not mafia aligned.

 

-On night 1, SBG investigated Brewers and found him to be "Not Guilty".

-On night 2, SBG investigated Samus and found him to be "Not Guilty".

-On night 3, I investigated Rhizoctonia and found him to be "Guilty".

 

Now, a few things to note about these results:

 

-A "Not Guilty" result does not 100% mean that Brewers and Samus are town. A werewolf, alien, or serial killer would appear as "not guilty" to my investigation. There also could be a mafia Godfather in play which of course would return a "not guilty" result to me. So in theory either Brewers or Samus could be a werewolf, a serial killer, or the mafia godfather. Having said that, I doubt it right now. Both have roleclaimed previously and I think they are probably both town.

 

-A "Guilty" result on Rhizoctonia is almost certainly indicative of his alignment as mafia. The exception would be if my investigation result was somehow doctored but there is no framer role listed for this game so I believe Rhizo is most likely mafia. The only other possibility I can see is if Rhizo is a miller and therefore investigated as guilty. If Rhizo is a miller though it was foolish for him to not roleclaim immediately as a miller so that the town knew up front.

 

Either way, lynching Rhizoctonia tomorrow is in the town's best interest. Best case scenario is that he is mafia. Worst case scenario is that he is a town miller. Even in the worst case scenario though the potential reward outweighs the risk in lynching Rhizo tomorrow.

 

Here is the reason I am choosing to come out with this information today:

 

With 21 players in the game, given the normal rule of thumb of ~25% of players being anti-town, it is likely that there originally existed a total of 5-6 anti-town players. This would probably mean 2-3 mafia, 2 werewolves, and a serial killer. 

 

Or there could possibly be a 7th anti-town player giving us 3 mafia, 3 werewolves, and 1 serial killer as ABT suggested. This setup is possible given the roles we've seen thus far, especially since town has had a lot of specialized investigative roles revealed (JOAT, Seer, Cop of all trades, and my role as Town Cop). 7 potential scum is a lot of anti-town players. If we assume it's 7 anti-town total than that probably means the following:

 

-2 mafia are dead (VGM and iSoc) which would in theory leave 1 mafia player alive -- Rhizoctonia

-1 werewolf is dead (MK) which would leave either 1 or 2 werewolves alive depending on the beginning number

-1 serial killer (Rafay) is about to be lynched today

 

With 2 "mafia" dead and there likely to only be 3 "mafia" in the game, my role essentially becomes useless if Rhizo is indeed the last mafia member since only mafia will return guilty results to me. I wanted to make sure that this information was all available to the town before I could potentially be night killed.

 

In case I am killed at night, my recommendation to the town is to lynch Rhizoctonia tomorrow. If he is the last mafia member that will mean that moving forward there should only be 1 kill per night from the werewolf faction since the serial killer (Rafay) will already be dead too.. unless there is some other night killing role. That will leave the town vs the remaining 1 or 2 werewolves and should have us in a great position to win the game.

Why is Rafay OMGUS voting and denying actual information while giving easily fabricated information and claiming a name already taken by a presumed townie?

And just so we're on the same page Rafay, dictating would mean that I have full authority to force my will on the town. I am recommending a course of action, not dictating one.

Wowsers. I’m glad I delayed voting because this is important info. The game just got more interesting. I’m curious to hear what Rhizo has to say for himself.

In terms of town composition, I think it is mor likely that there are three werewolves than two, simply because I think Kevin likes balance 3 scum, 1 sk, 3 wolves has a nice balance.

As for the Rhizo, there's not much he can tell.

 

If he's indeed a Miller, he knew the risk and should have RCed before he was investigated. Now it's to late and since we wouldn't be able to to verify such claim our best option would be to lynch him anyway. And that's what we should do on D4.

Keep in mind TW stated he only receives guilty for mafia, not werewolves. That means even those investigated inno by him could still potentially be scum
