At that moment he realised that his life finally had meaning outside of cooking sausages. He decided to rid the world of all evil!     KevinH is the first Gunbearer, and is confirmed as Innocent.

So the best way to do this is get everyone talking and trying to decide who to shoot. We need to be active. If town isn't active there is no way to figure out who is actually scum since we don't have any power roles, so a quiet town will cause us to lose...

We could make a vote system. Like town votes on who to kill and then the person w/ majority will be shot by the gun owner.

Why does it have to be about you? I meant talk in general. As of right now, other than KevinH, no one is 100% innocent. That's why I asked if we could have a vote system. It let's us keep track of wagons. In the end tho, it's Kevin's choice so if he feels strongly over the majority, he can make that call. And he's definitely one of the most experienced players, so i think he will have good judgement on his first shot

Funny tho that Mr. No Lynch has to chose someone to die on D1. Def ironic lol either way, we need to discuss who we all think should get shot.

Kevin is probably right, on mafia scum it does say 4 scum, so i don't think MedVed would have chanced it up. That would be a big risk Ballance wise, so I think we need to assume Kevin is right. That means we can miss two shots at most. If we miss 3, then scum wins.

So I still think the best way to do this is a mock vote count as it will make it easier to keep track of things for kevin

I think shooting Rafay would be a huge risk. Sure he could be scum but odds are he is town, and if he is town, he could be a lose cannon with the gun, so if Kevin shoots him and Rafay makes the wrong choice, we would have two townies dead, and be down to our last shot before scum wins. So if you are scum, I think Rafay would be who you want to be shot/end up with the gun.

and so youre saying voting for rafay makes you town?  voting for rafay means you want rafay to be the next gun bearer.  and you follow that up by saying you think rafay will recklessly shoot tw if he was the gun bearer. 

 

so why does not picking him to start clear you as town?  if anything scum picking kevinH, then leading a push on a rafay selection for kevinH's shot would be a scum move.  This way, when kevinH shoots rafay, and rafay (if he is town) becomes the gun bearer then shoots TW right away, since it is pretty clear from the last couple games he has a hard on for TW (calling him racist in the last couple games).  No offense to Rafay, but his play-style in the games I have played has been erratic at best, and I think none of us would be surprised with him making a rash/illogical decision on who to shoot the second the day opened...   So having rafay be your second target, not your first is the more scummy thing to do...

 

You are contradicting yourself here MK.  You are saying it would be scummy to want rafay to be the gun bearer, but you are voting for kevin to shoot him and become the gun bearer...  Sounds to me like you are trying to win the game here in one fell swoop. 

 

KevinH shoots rafay, KevinH dies: 6 Town, 4 Scum

Rafay shoots TW, Rafay dies(assuming TW is town):  5 Town 4 scum

 

pretty much puts town in a hard to win situation...as one more missed shot and we lose.

I completely missed that. I just assumed the typical 25% rule applied but based off of the description on mafiawiki you are most likely correct here. That would mean that Brewers is correct about the number of misfires the town gets (3).

 

@MK - After re-reading the popcorn mafia game description I just want to make sure you understand that Brewers is correct about what he's saying. You voting for Kevin to shoot Rafay means that you want Rafay to become the gunbearer if he is town. The gunbearer does NOT kill their target if their target is town. Rather they would die themselves. So if you believe Rafay should be targeted by Kevin then it means that you are okay with Kevin dying and Rafay becoming the gunbearer if he is town.

 

Of course if you truly believe that Rafay is scum then you should vote for him but the game has barely begun and Rafay has only posted twice so I don't see how you can be sure he's scum yet.

 

We still have not seen Sister Midnight or Velocity yet. @Colonel Medved - Will you ping them please?

Agree with what brewers has said about MK. I was about to say the same thing. He says if he was scum he wud have chosen Rafay as the first gunbearer and Rafay wud have targeted TW next giving him the gun. So by that logic he already thinks both Rafay and TW are scum. So him voting for Rafay doesn't make any sense.

MK does have a habit of playing erratically which he guises under the belief that if he looks less townish scum wont target him. But theres no excuse playing like that in this game as scum cant kill you.

 

I am waiting for MK to post his rebuttal and explain his post which was full of contradictions.

When did voting become a official part of this game?
Even if rafay gets 75% votes, that doesn't mean anything if Kevin kills someone else.

Me stating that rafay is scum is my opinion based on him being rafay.

But as i say that, i can understand that this game is very different from standard games, so i got to back up my story more, i guess.
