My vote for you was meant to wake you up initially. Your response to the prod has not given me a reason to remove said vote.

Your lack of posting hasn't "hurt" the town per se but let me flip the question back on you: How has your lack of posting helped the town? We may not know anything but there isn't a no lynch option in this game. Therefore, we HAVE TO lynch someone today. How do we narrow down our lynch choices on day 1 of an 18 person game most efficiently? By pressing people. By talking. By questioning people.

I'll ask it again: How is not posting helping the town in any way to figure out who we should be lynching?

I'm surprised that iSoc is not finding interest in a game when D1 lynch is mandatory and can't end in no lynch. Isn't that what you advocate all the time? This just doesn't seem right with me. Also it's D1, no one has any information so inactives will be poked.

Also since you want to keep asking people their thoughts, why not go into detail about your thoughts.

I was the first vote on iSoc. That was the prod. My vote stayed because of his response. I don’t control what happened after my vote. However, it is clear that I was not the only person unsatisfied with his response.

Do I have in depth thoughts on anyone? No, because as Kevin always says “no one knows nothing” yet. I have at least prodded several less active players so far and asked them to chime in. So my thoughts as of now are:

- iSoc’s response to being asked to participate leaves something to be desired and he has still refused to actually contribute anything to the game other than deflecting the questions he has been asked. He wouldn’t have 5 votes on him if he had just started chiming in.
- Slimcad and Kaznawim need to participate more.

In what ways do you want me participate? Talking about a sig, or brewers sister? I don't think talking about something other then the game is helpful to the game! So by not adding to the useless is VERY helpful.
My post aren't meant to satisfy people, specially to the standards. Just because a lynch is imminent doesn't mean anyone should do. I for one would rather see a scum. Just with all this side talk I haven't care to read through 10 post to try to find one useful one. I rather sit in the quiet then advocate for someone's lynch base of sig size, or lack of posting about sig size. Sorry, but if my death is due to that. Then fine by me
As always, it's about the action and threat of a lynch more than the actual lynch. Not seeing if people are wanting a lynch, but who the would prefer over the other for a lynch. A dog pile only shows that they want a lynch, but doesn't show why.

I never said that iSoc wasn't suspicious. I pointed out the fact that you have now placed a 6th vote on someone with a few days left before deadline when they already had the requisite 5 for a lynch at deadline. The town never benefits ending a day early, which is what your vote pushes us closer to

 

 

EDIT: Kevin posted while I was typing. I tend to agree that trial by combat would be a good choice here (also because I'm curious what this looks like and have been too lazy to reference where it happened in the other GoT thread)

Simply asking someone their thoughts doesn't actually give you any props my dude. What exactly have you contributed?  Because you probe people out for low posts and ask their thoughts when there's nothing to put their thoughts on.  You want them to chime in on exactly what?  About Brewers mom?  About someone large sig? Please tell me how 99% of the people here have "contributed" anything.  Unless talking about fluff is somehow looked at as townish.  You keep asking for people to chime in like there's some big thing to talk about.  I get the prod of people who haven't posted, but some of us don't always care about grab ass D1 or waste their time with talking about someone's big sig.  To me you're being overly compensating for something and trying your hardest to look town on D1 when no one knows anything as you stated.  You continue to ask people their thoughts while the remainder of the people have gotten their post counts by talking about nothing related to the game.

While I agree some of the posts here are just spam, (What did you expect from brewers or something involving him?), People just sliding by in the background isn't helping either. If you want more meaningful conversation cause it. Honestly F the people who keep spaming, and if they don't want to quit it, they pay in the long run, or they can volunteer for Trial by Combat then. 

 

Worse Case you have to cause conversation. Thrusting yourself into the spotlight isn't such a bad thing.

Honestly, I get where Isoc is coming from. This day has been mostly stupid spam and I also find it hard to also be posting when I have nothing real to contribute (I almost got mod killed in Tw's because of this behavior). While I feel his defensiveness and slight aggression towards his wagon has been sorta scumy, I don't get a full on scum vibe and would hate to have lynched someone when I no longer see a real reason, especially since I tend not to care about the spam either.
