I don't know how it could have been anything other than luck. Although again, I'm pretty sure this is going to be a role madness game so anyone who gets killed is going to hurt.

So far the two people we know have roles (Rafay and Jazzy), so I'd assume at least a mildly role madness game is among us.

As for the FoS on TW and Kevin, I don't think we should be simply voting and focusing on people for being active historically. 

That being said, I don't see much we have to go on with a NL on D1 and Jazzy being killed. I haven't found much of Jazzy's activities to where he really was focused on anyone so it seemed like a safe kill for scum.

Best we can do is just start poking people,

This is how I see it right now
Those who are saying that this might be a role madness game probably have roles themselves, or are agreeing with other people statement. Which leaves the people who are not saying this might be a role madness game. I think these people are the ones without town PR roles. Leaving them to ponder about if this is a role madness game and what roles there are.

Plus we didn't gather any info from D1 and N1 that is publicly known. Leaving us with the power of the vote during the day. I still stand with the notion that voting is beyond just wanting someone lynched, but also about the reactions around it. And since it's not the the night, we are left with the two things we got during day. Voting and shady theories.

What effort is really expected D1?  Sure I've caught suspicion of people from D1 talking in the past, but it's a rarity.  It's all basically fluff and a reason for a few people to post a bunch of useless posts to get their count up to then use it against other people. More effort is put towards D1 when there's a forced D1 lynch, or at least a possible trial by combat.  

 

I honestly have enjoyed the idea Brewers started with the trial by combat, as it forces action D1.  I encourage mods to implement such things in their games to encourage early activity, as well as make D1 useful in my opinion.  Otherwise, the game my as well start N1.

Still working overnights. so you most likely will only hear from me late during the day, or early in the morning. Sucks that we lost Jazzy. I'm not sure how bad off we are, if this is indeed a role madness game. I can only hope for the best.

 

I don't find MK swinging at the fences suspicious (yet). It seems to be a part of his play style, as of late.

This makes no sense. What would you consider to be a good amount of effort for day 1?

I’m alive, thankfully, I came down with a strong viral infection, knocked me out of the game of life for a bit, so I had things on top of this. I’m back now though.

Also a no-kill N1 would make D2 virtually the same as D1 considering we wouldn’t have anything to go off of unless a power role gets really lucky, if they could even use their abilities that night, or just killing roles couldn’t. That’s what I understand if I read your post correctly.

How does a kill on n1 help the town, exactly?
We don't know anything else other than the fact that one player is dead.

Historically whether we lynch or not, D1 and D2 are kind of just guess work. We usually NL on D1 and lynch D2. By D3 we start to actually gather clues and results. People slop up. If we had TWO wagons to go off of these clues would gather more help.

I'm becoming a bigger and bigger proponent for D1 lynches lately and would like to see a possibility in further games to even get a D1 lynch done instead of everyone dogpiling the NL.

@kevin, I know. I'm usually one of the more active posters. I've been less since I'm in a desert around the world. I won't be back till probably October.

When I say lack of effort, everyone decided just to vote no lunch and got to the min votes rather quickly. If you just want to do that, ask the mod to start n1 right away. Just cause you think day 1 is useless doesn't mean other people find it useful. Kevin has an excuse because he just votes no Lynch no matter what for day 1. If he didn't, the spot light would be on him.
