The point of a lynch isn't to know anything D2, it's to know MORE on D3.

Historically whether we lynch or not, D1 and D2 are kind of just guess work. We usually NL on D1 and lynch D2. By D3 we start to actually gather clues and results. People slop up. If we had TWO wagons to go off of these clues would gather more help.

I'm becoming a bigger and bigger proponent for D1 lynches lately and would like to see a possibility in further games to even get a D1 lynch done instead of everyone dogpiling the NL.

As for today, as I stated above it's purely guess work.

 

How many games have there been D1 lynches that turned scum? I say we are better off just NL D1 than almost 100% lynching a townie. That's just my opinion though.

That same argument can be made for D2. What makes D2 any different than D1 in terms of whether we're shooting in the dark or not? The only difference I see is scum have used a NK by D2.

The big difference is that on Day 2, somebody knows somethin'.

 

They don't have to reveal it, but even if a cop found another townie on Night 1, it's improving the odds of the town finding scum with "random" lynches.

 

I don't have any real suspicions against Robert or iSocialism as evidenced by the weak support given.

 

But we have to start somewhere.

But the odds of someone having information goes up with N1. The only difference is that we have more to go off of in the long run, with a possible extra person in the game.

I don’t have much else to say that isn’t just regurgitating what somebody else has said. Somebody knows something, they don’t say it but they know it, a D2 lynch seems likely, D1 lynch N1 kill yada yada?
I will say though I highly suspect it is not a role madness game.

Okay, if anyone has any bright revelations, note would be a good time to disclose them. I am open to suggestions.

This basically.  But if we guess right D1, and hit a scum, or even put pressure on them we maybe get some scum to try to divert the attention to someone else.  That's why I am for at least Mod's making D1 purposeful by a needed D1 lynch of at least 1/2, but the person has like 50/50% of actually being killed off.  At least there's something to possibly play for D1, otherwise it's not gonna happen.  There will never be enough solid proof D1 to warrant a real lynch, at best speculation, and not enough people in pretty much most the games I played that are willing to risk it unless it's forced action.  D2, at least roles have some sort of information, be it limited or not.  

 

Like i said, D1 is mostly for people to chat with one another, make witty quotes or something, and to boost their post count up to get out of looking suspicion while not actually contributing anything meaningful.  It is a good gauge to make sure everyone is actually playing, if they're not posting at all, but about it.  

I'm not necessarily against D1 lynches, but there's no pressure/purpose to play the game or post anything meaningful, so because of that there's no real good info to push a lynch on anyone.

Sorry about my inactivity over the weekend. I had some unfortunate family health issues come up that are taking up my time right now.. :/

It looks like the majority of what I’ve missed is just no lynch vs lynch debates though. As far as I’m concerned it’s no use debating about that particular subject anymore. A no lynch occurred and we need to figure out what to do on day 2 now. In lieu of anything concrete our best bet is pressing people for more activity.

@Jazzy - There isn’t much to go off of but you are currently the closest player to a mod-kill. Short of any actual evidence coming forward, what do you think is our best course of action today?

My take on the no lynch/lynch arguement, I have vote no lynch on D1 as far as I can remember, but the best games I've been in are the one where you cant vote no lynch and had trial by combat,

So far I've seen nothing in D2 to make me want to vote 1 way or another.

Yeah there’s nothing that Jazzy or anyone said or did so far that’s made me lean any specific way with anyone, so I’m not sure we’ll get a D2 lynch either.

This mistake makes The Warrior look more scummy. Normally he's very calculated.

It’s more that I’ve had a very long and mentally draining few days. Jazzy’s and Velocity’s forum masks are also the same color. It’s not the first time I’ve confused the two.

I don’t know what to read into that but there could be something in there. We don’t have much to say one way or another unfortunately.

We have about a day and a half until deadline. Robert is currently in line to be mod-killed I think. @Robert - Any other thoughts?

Not really there isn't a ton going on and I'm out of the country working 12s everyday. I feel Kevin is the only one willing to stick his neck out to do anything. So I'm giving him townie points compared to everyone else been just waiting for a cop to save there. The unfortunate truth is there is no garrentee there is a cop. So the town has a higher chance at this point losing from everyone play passive. So I know the day is nearly over with but I don't want to sit on my hands to trust some random cop that isn't garreneed to exist.
