[TW-10] The Office Mafia - Mafia Wins!

Featured Replies

I personally can't see past the whole "I didn't do an action as I was scared the tracker might track me" mentality.

This only applies if you did an action on the person dying, which you would only know if you were scum on who would die.

Being as the day is nearing a close,

Vote: Velocity

I'm split between them both, but this puts Velocity and Rafay at 3/3, so Eogrim or Velocity can vote. Obviously one wont vote for himself, but I want the opportunity to have 2 wagons present.

As for Rafay, I haven't seen a counter claim to watcher/tracker roles, etc. There usually is a tracker/watcher role present from my knowledge, and coming out with a fake claim so early while not knowing if there is a counter present seems like a huge risk I wouldn't have taken. Whether Rafay did lie with a fake claim so early to defend his partner is possible, I see it as improbable.

That being said, if Rafay turns up scum, I'd be highly interested in MK for what seems like a direct defense of Rafay and Kevin for being the target of an early role claim. A 1scum -1 town suicide doesn't make sense, but fake claiming to defend another scum in a small game (maybe 2 scums total) would.

That puts me at 4 and Rafay at 2.

As I don’t want to lose another town and SBG either messed up or is trying to lynch me..

Vote: Rafay

Oh shoot, I swapped your names somehow from TW's post, but did notice something.

Velocity's wagon is Kevin (whom Rafay defended), MK (who defended Rafay), and Rafay himself. Whereas Rafay's wagon has shown interest in both wagons.

Unvote

Vote: Rafay

I've stated my previous concerns with fake claiming for a scum/town suicide didn't make sense so early, but a fake claim to defend another scum does with a small scum count (if its 2) does. If Rafay comes up scum, I know where to look after. The way the wagons are laid out just seems concerning and I don't believe I'm smart enough to articulate the reasoning in my head into words. But it seems Rafay and Kevin if they're both scum have been aligning themselves closely.

Well either we have a doctor that guessed right, or a bulletproof. Cops should at this time have something of there is one, at least some confirmed town

I have a feeling scum went for me so if Rafay and I both died there would be less to go off of because both of those who had wagons would’ve died and flipped town.

And seeing as I am 1-shot bulletproof the kill failed, which if it did I’m glad to have gotten at least a little use out of my role.

Granted it’s also very possible that there is a doctor, as I suspect this may be role madness-esque so a doctor isn’t an unlikely role to exist in this game.

On another note, now that Rafay is dead I’m at a loss as to who to suspect. I have ideas brewing, as I’m sure everyone does, but I’m just not sure. The current best choose is to analyze his wagon, of which I am sure that me and SBG are prime suspects after our end of day votes that resulted in his lynch. I had only voted as I thought that SBG made a mistake, which he corrected himself and voted for Rafay as well which saved me but got Rafay, a now known townie, lynched.

As for the others, that remains to be seen.

This day is sure to be an interesting one, I have a feeling most of what’s left of power roles will be revealed on this day.

As Rhizo said, I have a feeling cop(s) will know at least some confirmed town and some others that may not be as town as they’d like everyone else to believe.

We have time, so I’d suggest not rushing to vote for anyone and everyone, unless you have something interesting to bring forth.

Well.

I am RCing.

I am Dwight.

Non consecutive same action joat. Actions are cop, roleblocker, doctor.

N1, i investigated Seabee. Not guilty.

N2. I blocked rhizo.

N3. I investigated KevinH.

Guilty.

So that's it.

Kevin and velocity are the scum.

Kevin was trying everything he can to somehow get velocity over the line.

Although, it was subtle.

So, without further ado.

Vote: Kevin.

In case you are wondering about the velocity connection.

Velocity brought up Vote Thief.

That's sort of obscure to just make up if you're scum.

Maybe there are more voting mechanics at play.

Well, after seeing this, i am quite sure.

In case anyone need clarification.

I am Dwight Schrute, the Assistant to the Regional Manager of Dunder Mifflin Scranton and Jack-of-All-Trades.

RIP to Rafay. Unfortunate to lose another town late game, and also a lynch that I am a part of. I guess Rafay was just being Rafay.

It appears the right actions were taken last night to result in deathless night, so we have that advantage.

Mk's claim will bring a lot forward today. I have my doubts, but will reserve my thoughts until Kevin or Velocity comment on it.

If there was only 2 scum that would be a bad strategy, one of them trying to get the other lynched? With 3 scum I could see that maybe being possible, but with only 2 that’s just a terrible idea. However, I do have a feeling that there is 3, rather than 2.

Somebody accusing Kevin would naturally go for me as well because I’ve been in the spotlight this entire time what with my claim, surviving the lynch, I would be an easy target. His claim of what connects Kevin to me is a stretch at best.

However, with MK’s claim being as weird as it is I don’t think he’s lying, so I wouldn’t peg him as scum quite yet,

I think he may have correctly identified Kevin as scum, but has misinterpreted who his partner(s) are.

There is always the chance that MK is actually scum, and is pulling a heavily risky maneuver. But, I would think that it isn’t the case, as that claim is just really out of here and I doubt a scum would try it unless it was absolutely necessary, which here, it definitely isn’t dire for them.

I'm inclined to believe MK, but with the numbers the way they are, I feel we shouldn't just take things at face value.

With 7 alive, we potentially have 2-3 anti town. With 2 kills on a previous night, we may have 2 scum, 1 serial killer, or 2 scum with an extra kill ability. 2-3 scum with a vig is possible as well.

Assuming best case scenario, we have 5 town and 2 scum. If MK is scum, and successfully gets a kill on Kevin, we go to 4-2. If the Night Kill is successful, we land at 3-2.
Then what? We lynch MK for lying, and we end up at 2-1. That finally scum just has to kill one person and they win.

On the counter, I doubt we would have a game without a cop role present. MK seems to be an "every-other" day cop role. Without a counter claim to there being another cop, I'm inclined to believe him. I'd like to see what every has to say before placing a vote however, as with the scenario I mentioned, even with 2 scum and no serial killer, we would be playing a risky game rushing into a lynch.

Toby better be scum and a serial killer (since he is totally the Scranton strangler)

Just for that reason I'd like nothingmore than to vote Kev..

On a more serious note. How usual is it to have two (or 1 1/3) roleblockers in a game?

And if Velocity and Kev are scum, how come the nightkill failed?

I'd say that if Vel survived that night and no-one else died that pretty much ensures us that he's town. At least if there's no more doctors around, or someone else with kill/deathproof..

Vanilla townie.

Don't mess with HR.

Oh, you want to go that way?

Alright.

And also, there isn't more than 3 scum.

Most likely than not, there's just 2.

Our deadline is for 2.

So be careful on delaying the vote.

Setting aside Lord MK's false accusation against me for the moment ...

With Rafay flipping town, it looks pretty suspicious that 4 players decided to lynch him with minimal evidence.

Interesting. part of me wants to believe that Toby is scum, because Micheal hated him..

I'm apt to believe MK's RC, especially with no counter claim, and Kevin's name.  Worst case if MK is lying, hopefully we still have a Vig given we had 2 kills at night(unless Scum got a second kill), and they can just kill MK if he's lying

Vote:  Kevin

I always theorized Toby was himself the Scranton Strangler, hence his insistence that the guy he sent to jail was innocent.

Again, I am wary on the situation a mis-lynch could pose if MK was scum based on my last post.

The vote for CM does seem weird, as if Kevin is to be aware of anyone, it would MK. I'm confused on that vote.

I don't really think Colonel Medved used one bullet to kill 2 people Night 2.  Lighten up, people.

I'm changing my mind about Velocity and Lord MK.

Velocity's role claim is believable and Lord MK could have had me killed earlier but unvoted.

The result Lord MK got on me is wrong. It's easy enough for scum to pile on and get an easy lynch on me; look to those on my wagon after I am shown to truly be a vanilla townie.

I now think Colonel Medved is a good choice for lynching.

But I do think he was under pressure Day 1 and was saved by No Lynch.

He didn't vote on Day 2 and avoided being on any of the wagons.

Day 3 he was in early on the Rafay wagon whose lynch caused us to lose a tracker.

My lynching will only cause the town to lose a vanilla townie, but it should give some good information to the remaining townies in their scum-hunt.
