We need to re-examine everything.

There's a mafia, possible sk/vig.
And town joat and another role.

And because mafia and sk are different factions, it's still possible.

There's 2 distinct kill flavours for night.
Some random moving away or something along that lines, on most nights.
Suggesting that this is scum

Then the strangled text.
If you know something about SK, it's that they tend to strangle their enemies.

That is a good point. The Scranton Strangler is amongst us then. It could be possible that i was targeted last night by the SK, but since i was commuting i was able to avoid death. This makes this day much more hard, because we are in a 2 v 1 v 1 situation. 

 

We mislynch and hit town, sk and scum hit each other or town, then town loses.

In all cases, it seems town is bound to be on the losing end at this point. It's to bad i came to the realization late, but i am fully confident that Velocity is the Scranton Strangler. The only thing that can save town now is a hidden modifier, or someone is lying about their abilities.

Creed is the Scranton Strangler due to the many suggestions that he has killed many times before. Including the Murder episode where he comes in all bloody. Shortly after, he runs away. Additionally he killed and assumed the real Creed Bratton's identity. However, there is no suggestion that he is the Scranton Strangler, only that he has killed many times before.

 

It also says as a fan theory that Mose and Toby are also theorized to be the Scranton Strangler. Toby flipped town, and Mose flipped Mafia instead of SK. That only leaves Creed as a suspect in this case, which in my mind dead sets me on him being SK.

I believe both Pam & Stanley would be likely safeclaims, both Creed and Dwight unlikely ones.

On the other hand would Dwight and Creed be the most likely scum characters.

This will certainly be an interesting ending!

In no situation would MK (or you, if it is you) throw the game, I find that laughable. At this point, it is impossible for town to pull this one off. But i will at least go out taking one with me

If I was Creed Bratton the SK why would I claim my actual role name as my character under a different role? I’m pretty sure I would’ve been given a safe claim if I was actually Creed Bratton as the SK.

Also to note, Creed Bratton is a kleptomaniac, which would most likely be the reason why he’s a vote *thief.*

I’m really not sure though, because like I said I never watched the show before, I just went ahead and checked my character’s info page once I got my role and character name.

Being that you haven't watched the show, you are unaware of the fan theories behind it. I was full aware of the Toby theory, which is why i jumped on Kevin. But after reading through the wiki, it made sense. Creed is a murderer on the run from the police

 

In Murder, Creed shows up late to work and steps in during the middle of the office's murder mystery game. When Michael tells him that they have discovered a murder and he is a suspect, Creed steps out under the guise of settling at his desk, but is caught by the camera running back to his car and fleeing the parking lot (this is possibly an allusion to the disappearance of the "other" Creed Bratton as mentioned in Crime Aid).

I’ve been leaning a lot on mafiawiki when preparing for and playing this game to make up for my inexperience.
The wiki says that some moderators allow it. I thought it meant that you would’ve been informed if it where allowed.

Anyways, let’s get this over with already.

Moderator Game Notes

• Congrats to Eogrim on your first mafia win! Keep playing.
• Colonel Medved sort of figured out the lore aspect I chose to use for the relationship between a couple of the characters and their faction designation when he discovered the Scranton Strangler fan theories. The Scranton Strangler was indeed a character in the game (SK) as well as the 3 character names that are sort of theorized to possibly be the Scranton Strangler: Toby, Mose, and Creed. Toby is the most thought of character to be the Scranton Strangler so I used him as a town character and gave him a Watchlisted Townie role to make him appear as the SK if investigated.
• The thought of having Jim and Pam be lovers did cross my mind but I thought that was too easy. I elected instead to make Meredith a Nymphomaniac, which for those of you who know the show, know that isn't that far-fetched. Rhizo as the Nympho chose SBG to be his lover on night 1.
• Velocity's publicly given role was 1-Shot Bulletproof, Even-Night Serial Killer. He was also 1-Shot Lynch-Proof, however as you all found out.
• There were two JOAT's in the game. The town JOAT (Lord MK) had these three roles available to him: Cop, Doctor, Roleblocker. His only limitation was that he could not use the same role on consecutive nights. The Mafia JOAT (SBG) had these three roles available to him: Ninja, Neapolitan, Tailor. He had the same limitation of not being able to use the same role on consecutive nights.
• SBG chose to use his Tailor role on himself on night 1 which worked perfectly for him since Lord MK investigated him on night 1 and therefore found him to be Not Guilty.
• Colonel Medved was a 2-Shot Commuter. He commuted on night 3 and managed to thwart the mafia's kill that night since they targeted him while he was commuting.
